Ray and Scarlett ended up bringing the commoner into the mansion, and in Scarlett's room at that. The girl was busy eyeing the room as if it were some magical place or whatever.

"What now? What if our mom finds out about what we did?" Ray asked.

The Royal family knows about the mistreatment and exploitation of commoners in their kingdom, but no one's taking an action. No one wanted to help the Common city, except Princess Scarlett and Prince Ray.

Scarlett clicked her tongue. It's her signature habit. "Can you leave us alone, Ray?"

Zuha was confused as to why the princess requested that. Scarlett's brother got out of the room without questioning anything.

Zuha continued to eye the room. She can't tell if a woman or a man owns this place. Nonetheless, this place is nothing compared to her house in the Common City since she doesn't own a personal room. Privacy is a problem at their house, but she doesn't mind.

"Miss? Can I go home?" Zuha asked tearfully. The place amazes her, and Scarlett's beauty amazes her, but it's now time to face reality. What will happen to her? To Marly? She knows it's hard to return to their home.

The thought of Marly experiencing what she experienced made her cry.

Princess Scarlett may act tough and cold outside, but deep inside, she has a soft spot for women. She cleared her throat. "Hey."

Scarlett went in front of Zuha, and they are now eyeing each other.

Scarlett looked away first. "Damn. This girl is pretty," she thought.

She cleared her throat and spoke, "I will do anything to save the Common City. But I may not succeed. Still, will you help me?"

Zuha nodded many times. She couldn't bring herself to speak. She was so happy to know there are members of the royal family who care about their city.

"Thank you. I don't know how I can help, but I'll definitely help. Thank you so much." Zuha bowed down after having the courage and energy to speak.

"You don't have to bow your head. Starting today, you will work as my personal maid. Is this fine with you?"

Scarlett had second thoughts. There's something telling her that making the commoner her personal slave will bring changes to her life. Whatever it is, she hopes it's a good thing.

Zuha wanted to go home, but this is a one-time opportunity, and she doesn't want to miss it. One of the royal princesses asked her to be their personal maid; how dare she refuse?

"You can start by making yourself something you can eat. There's a kitchen here. Eat first before cleaning my room."

When Scarlett got out of her room, Ray was outside. He stared at his older sister.

"What?" Scarlett asked.

"Did you just make her your personal slave when I told you I was going to make her my own?" Ray got upset, but he understands. He smiled.

He knows his sister very well.

Scarlett answered, "I couldn't help it."

Ray rolled his eyes. "You bet. Anyway, Mom wanted to talk to us."

He saw how Scarlett's mood changed. Just mentioning their mom makes her mood change so fast.
