(Re-writing)In Marvel; I'm a Cartoonist

Location: Manhattan, New york

This was the core the city of New York, the financial centre of the United States, and the gathering place of upper class society. The world-famous Wall Street is located in the south of Manhattan Island it is lined with tall buildings reaching the towards the sky.

Location change: Hell's kitchen

In a small apartment building. A man named Lucien awoke with a sharp pain in his head.

(Original called him Xu Mo=translation meaning Ink or light)

'Dam it! Why does my head hurt so much?'-Lucien thought to himself as the pain slowly stopped as an unfamiliar stream of memories rushed into his head, and merged with his own. These new memories overlapped with his own creating a weird sensation and making it difficult to tell himself which were real and which were fake.

Though one thought stuck out to him. He had died and reincarnated into another world and into someones else's body who had just happen to share his name.

This once nineteen year old man now a sixteen year old boy named Lucien is now living his life as an American-Asian orphan who's parents had died in a plane crash last week. In accordance with their will, he will now inherit his parents' inheritance.

But Because of the original bodies extreme sadness, the Lucien of this world drank himself to death trying to dissipate his sorrow. And it was by bizarre circumstances that someone from our earth with the same name had transmigrated into his body.

Lucien took a look at the mirror in the room. A decently handsome, blond boy looked back at him as they both pinched their checks until a slight pain flared up.

"This isn't a dream...God I wish it was just a dream!"-Lucien shouted aloud to himself in his empty room.

Lucien felt no joy at the idea of inheriting his new and now died families property. Instead, he shouted out-loud to vent his feelings. This was do to his new memories and the newspaper reports on his table that filled him with dread.

The front page of the New York Times had been about Stark Industries that had won another billions of orders from the military, making them even more successful. It was accompanied by a picture of the board of directors. Standing in the middle was a very cynical and arrogant man staring straight down the camera.

His name is Tony Stark.

Our unfortunate Lucien was taken to the Marvel Universe!

It didn't matter whether this was world was based more on the comics or the movie universe. Lucien believed he was screwed over regardless.

Even if Lucien moved directly out of the United States. He'll still be at a huge risk during Infinity war. As even though New York was the focus of many battles, Once Thanos snapped one haft of the whole galaxy suffers a GG.

There isn't anywhere in this universe to escape.

Lucien picked up the newspaper and looked through it. Besides Stark Industries, there were mentions of experts discussing mutants. Obviously, this meant that this universe is more likely one from the comics or a X-Men and MCU fusion.

'It would be more dangerous to think about this'-Lucien stopped any train of thought that mentioned the dangers and instead only attempted to figure out where he should go from here.

The legacy that his parents had left him, besides the cash and apartment building, was a western-styled comic company.

Lucien thought about how in his past life he was an assistant to a comic company, it was odd that he would get a chance to re-enter this business again.

Anyway, if he couldn't stop the destruction of this world, Lucien might as-well do his best to live of comfort.

Lucien sat on a chair in his room and check online with his computer wether comics and manga from his past last existed here.

Sure enough, in the marvel worlds memory, today's comics are dominated by themes of superheroes. All of them inspired by the amazing Captain America or Steve Rogers, who is officially portrayed as a lone hero, with high integrity and noble morals.

Today's comic market is full of Steves, just the same thing copied and pasted. A 'Steve' would rise up and destroy the hard work of the mighty Villain who would finally be broken down.

At the same time, Lucien also noticed that the cultural industry of the Marvel Universe is relatively scarce, and that the subject matter is very rare. Lucien could said that many artist were good but the interest is lacking after so many similar stories.

This excites Lucien, As this would only help him build a comic empire by himself well before Thanos snaps his fingers.

With new found determination Lucien took a piece of white paper and laid it flat on his table, and taking a pencil from his drawers. He was about to start drawing a comic from our world that would overwhelm the current concept of hero comics in this world.

But as soon as his pencil touched the white paper, an inexplicable voice rang out in his head.

[The cartoonist system is awaking....Please stand by host.....*Ding*....host can now use this system with just his thoughts.]

Lucien was stunned for a moment, before his surprise turned into pure joy. He actually had a cheat in his new life.

A translucent screen appeared in front of him. It was divided into three sections. Namely: Search, Lottery, and Warehouse.

Lucien clicked on search, and a new interface appeared before him. It looked like a normal search page on any online site. Seeing as his system was comic themed though Lucien typed out manga that knew about. "One Piece" and pressed search. Before his eye, he saw the cover and the introduction of manga, swell as the number of chapters and words in the whole series.

Lucien clicked onto the first sentence, and the system sounded in his mind.

[Alert, Host all comics searched out can be ghost printed onto paper. Just copy the strokes to remake it]

'Oh my God! Isn't that cheating?'-Lucien's face changed slightly when he heard that. His system was virtual interface was movable. So Lucien placed the erected screen flat on the white paper and even adjusted the size, length and width of the screen to match.

The system screen would then shifted to the top of the white paper, before a bewildering sight happened. A faint shadow slowly appeared onto the paper.

Lucien could only lament that this was very convenient for him.

Even if someone was a talentless artist, with this system guiding their hands they could complete the first page in less than a few minutes due to the phantom outline.

This was the ultimate cheat for comic book artists.

Lucien simply finished the first page before looking back at his work. There appeared to be no difference with this and the original first page of 'One Piece' Manga in his memory.

Filled with shock, he moved onto the next section of his system.

At the top of Lottery was the words: {Fan Value: 0}, Below it was a lottery like turntable. The turntable was dark and fulled with unknowns shapes.

Lucien wondered aloud to his system.-'What does this mean?'

[Each published work that you make can get a different fan value. The lottery then consumes fan value to get possessions from the published work.]

[Fans can be divided into four types, each ordinary fan can provide a little fan value every month;

Each sincere fan will provide 10 fan points per month;

Each loyal fan provides 100 fan points per month;

Each fanatic fan provides 10,000 fan points every month. ]

"In the end, I can only imagine the kind of exaggeration that people who give the last points have."-Lucien shook his head as he said his thoughts aloud.

[Host, That kind of fan is much more terrifying than you think. They would treat the admiring object as a god]

"I understand, so how is the lottery calculated?"-Lucien asked.

[Each draw starts at 100,000, and the more you consume, the greater the chance of getting precious items. ]

"In other words, there would be a chance to precious items for only 100,000?"-Lucien's eyebrows raised as he asked.

[The chance theoretically exists]

Lucien knew after that answer that the chances, although they were there, were terribly small.

The third area of his system was the Warehouse. It worked as a storage that would hold items gained in the lottery. Currently it was as empty as a new players exp bar.

Lucien went back to the search bar of his system and began to think of a plan to start his comic empires rise.
