Elian and Eloise Rivera have been surviving on their own for as long as they remember. After losing their parents to tragic circumstances, the siblings have been forced to enter a world of crime, employing their supernatural abilities and unparalleled genius to fulfill the shady requests of aristocrats. Elian, being the older one of the two, is then forced to make a decision: risk selling away his sister to unethical research facilities or join Survive X, Justin Seville's newest cash-grabbing project—a survival show where young teens gifted with supernatural abilities are made to fight against each other in episodic trials that will test their wits, their strength, and most importantly, the reaches of their unusual powers.
Elian agrees to be part of the show. His only reason to live on, after all, is his younger sister, Eloise. But this choice isn't made without consequences. The young Rivera is done with being mistreated by the world, and he's ready to show the rage that has been brewing underneath his calm exterior. Easier said than done, however, especially when Elian discovers that there are other contenders who are not only stronger than him but are also much smarter than him.
