While the story is good, it doesn’t take its time. Most panels are disjointed and it forces the reader to fill in the gaps with their imagination. There are no transitional or montoge panels for traveling, training, preparing, anything that would imply a long time passed. When the light one awakens, one panel he says “I’m not strong enough”, three panels spanning a chat later, “I have all my strength, but I need more training to control it”, two panels (that follow a completely different character) later, “I’m now fully awakened as though I never lost this power in the first place”. It should take multiple chapters to get from point A to point Z, showing the progression all the way through, but they only show point A, point R, then point Z in half a chapter. It’s a little distracting how fast things move and it leaves a sort of whiplash effect.
