This story made me feel thrills and had my heart skip beats I love it so much. I recommend π. The story has depth and each chapter leaves you wanting more, the art style makes it so that you fall in love with each character not to mention that all characters are unique with different styles its perfect. I love the way the mc interacts with his master and how suttle the eyes of deception appear on the enemies. Truly very beautiful art and story very mesmerizing.

On the plus side, the author really knows how to circumvent censoring and I was blown away by the hot art. Sadly, the promising action plot is overshadowed by s*xism and an outstanding level of misogyny and omg is it hard to endure in this one. Prepare to feel guilty if you want to root for the main couple during another non-con scene. Everything kinky in this comic will remind you of the reality of oppressed real women and this storyβs appeal is literally gloryfying it, making you thirsty for something that is actually really problematic, to put it lightly. blade guards' beauty is weakness, MC learns one day before taking the exam (what a great master he has -.-). Be pretty, obedient, passive, support your owner, donβt ever fight, blade guards are too precious for that, oh wth just donβt go anywhere at all without a blade gleam unless you want to be raped, uhhh excuse me, forcefully contracted. You have to excuse the gleams, they just canβt help themselves! (sounds familiar? sounds like bs to choose that path if you want to avenge your parents' deaths? So yeah, if this sounds intruiging, go ahead. You can read this as a kinky guilty pleasure, Iβm not judging, Iβve read 70 chapters, too, despite my bad conscience. But I thought I could read this for the actual plot and a wholesome love story and itβs just a huge nope. I was hoping MC would show ML the finger and walk away many times. If all this constant oppression of the 'weaker' gender offends you, you should read or watch 'Spirit Pact' instead. The spirit master ML is less of an a**, the dynamic between the headstrong MC and him is extremely fun, there are hot demons, too, and itβs just such a beautiful empowering love story which will make you feel all the same feels as this but with less stress.
