I want this to be awesome so bad, and after 300 chapters, I'm invested in the characters at least a bit.
I appreciate that it doesn't lean too hard into the "lovers think the other one is dead" and "people lose their memories of loved ones" tropes. They're there, but you get the reunion payoff in a reasonable number of chapters.
That said, interesting waifus become empty headed vessels of yearning for protag-kun and after you get reunion payoff you don't get relationship growth.
The art is hit and miss, in the mid 100s the backgrounds get SUPER lazy, but they get better again later.
I don't regret reading it and I want to see where it goes, but it takes a while to find it's footing.
