Lemme Introduce you to the stupidest, most annoying FL of wn comics - Ji Guanxue. She is killed by her own Husband (Bu Xingtu) when she is pregnant, and she wakes up 7 years in the past from the day of her death. Now lets take a quick view of her journey so far - (REMEMBER THIS IS A MATRIARCHAL WORLD. Men have virg.nity issues. Women are "Stronger".) 0. She wakes up in City Lord's bed and follows him around. (He loves her). She finds her bodyguard Yunheng, cries to make the CityLord save him (Wud hv preferred has she saved him herself). City lord gives up his own guards n protection to keep HER safe, but she does nothing in return. 1. Lishang, a brothel owner, tricks her and she ends up being married to him. and her reaction- "aiyo. how did this happen???" π€π€π€ 2. Lishang is obsessive n controlling n she is controlled by him easily. When his truth his revealed, he tricks her into having "Goodbye breakfast" with him, and kisses her forcibly. Again. she does nothing. 3. She keeps getting attacked by unknown assassins (her mother is a royalty), and its CityLord or BuXingtu or Lishang or Yunheng who keep getting injured to protect her. Again SHE does Nothing.Β 4. She meets BuX (her murderer huby), again, and thus begins the most boring drama ever - "I LIKE XINGTU. I HATE XINGTU. I LIKE XINGTU. I HATE XINGTU.." 5. Lishang drugs City Lord (who is btw her childhood sweetheart) and forces his emotions to be turned off. The woman couldn't even find the culprit. City lord leaves. All pitiful. (Athough he is better on without her tbh). 6. Lishang brings Xingtu n makes him her 3rd husband/concubine. AND well she does nothing AGAIN. Yunheng is appointed her 2nd huby btw. 7. She has the ability to control the people with **ychic powers. But when does she use them?? To attack Lishang cz he is fighting Xingtu.. (oh no. How dare they hurt her murderer husband!) 8. The guys keep throwing her around like a dodge ball, from one hand to another and all she can do is - "ahh.. no ughh . Not there.. no no.. stopp.. ugghh" I havent seen her do anything good with her powers or take any strong decision on her own as of now. She is manipulated and fooled on every turn and all she focuses on is What is going on in her murderer husband's brains. also, if the creators are so hell bent on bringing Bu xingtu to limelight, they should stop portraying practially EVERY OTHER GUY better than him! Both Bu Xingtu and Ji Guanxue need some MAJOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT if they are to be pitched as the lead couple or it will piss readers sooner or later. Cz She is thankless towards the efforts of other Guys who keep keeping their lives in line just to train or save her. Oh to top it all, the drawings have gone all out of proportion and weird since quite sometime now.
The FL needs MAJOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. SHE IS SO IMMATURE AND SHALLOW! Also, Her obsession with Bu Xingtu is ANNOYING! She will hurt Lishang just for Xingtu. Dude, Xingtu killed you n your child in past life. No matter the reason, point is YOU WERE KILLED. She is so indecisive, stupid and immature. doesnt act like a person who is reliving 7 years of her life! AND the creator's obesssion with Bu xingtu is all time high. I am on chapter 114 and I π€ this close to leaving this comic for good.
It started out with pretty good art and the storyline is super infringing, however the art has continually gotten worse. Not to mention its very obvious you guys switched artist which was a huge mistake I might add. Originally I would have given it 5 stars but the art is so terrible and distracting now that I couldn't even give it a 3. The anatomy is so off the eyes are too high, the jaw lines don't exist and the noses are ugly the design of the eyes are good but they are too high. Not to mention the body shape is so clunky now. It used to be elegant and really attractive art.
This Comic is the best romantic/ Comedy I have read defiantly 1 of my top 5 favorites it was completely different from most of the historical comics I usually read.. which made me love reading even more!! Also it has you laughing so much from beginning to the end and also has you crying with some tragic and twist plots so yes its a 10/10 for me! I finished it in 2 days thatβs how much addicted I was!!
I dropped Beauty & the Beasts because of this. And Iβm glad I did. Thereβs more to the story than just handsome and sexy men. I love how the story is unraveling. At one point, I thought I understood what really happened in the MCβs past life, but then again, the story would just keep you guessing. I hope the entire plot will continue to be good and will have a justifiable ending. Good job to the entire team of this comic! P.S. The male characters have a resemblance though with Young Hot Lady from the Village.
