Β out, what you yelling for? Lay back, it's all been done before And if, you could only let it be, you will see I like, you the way you are When we're, driving in your car And you're, talking to me one on one but you become Somebody else 'Round everyone else You're watching your back Like you can't relax You're trying to be cool You look like a fool to me Tell me
Was really into this story, but... Is that seriously going to be the last chapter? There are way too many loose ends, and the ending was way too abrupt. If this is all there is, the story doesn't deserve 5 stars. They set so much stuff up for the future plot, and then, BAM! The story ends and everything that was set up is unresolved and just hanging there without a reason.
The only reason I didn't score this higher is because nothing pisses me off more than premature endings. While the characters achieved unserstanding, they built up this romance that never fully blossomed nor did they show whether or not Xia Xi could keep the career he built for her going on her own. I don't like that we don't get to see a snippet of their lives post body swapping and the aftermath. I don't feel like there was any real emotional or plot resolution just that the author was bored and felt the story was done and just decided to wrap it up. I mean seriously having a character cross a finish line doesn't mean the author gets to quit too. I loved the premise and the characters so I wanted better for them. But we don't even really get to see them apply their new life lessons to their own lives. This demands a series of special epilogue chapters. The ending is unsatisfying and the author is capable of far better.
