Bel's eyes fluttered open, looking around she caught sight of Davien sitting beside the bed. Had he been there the entire time she was asleep? It didn't feel like she had been asleep for long.
"How long was I asleep?" Bel asked.
"Not long," Davien replied, his arms crossed as he stared down at her lying in bed.
She frowned and rolled onto her side to face him. "Were you watching the whole time?" she asked, her tone laced with disapproval.
"Would you like to know the answer to that?" He asked, amused.
"No," she stated.
Bel placed her hand on her head. Something had woken her up, and from the heat radiating from her head, she could guess why. She didn't have a fever, but the blinding headache was enough to make her grip her head in pain.
"Are you okay?" Davien asked.
"Do I look okay?" she retorted.
Davien frowned. "No."
