3 Long Night

When Zuna was finally in her room she made sure to lock the door behind her. She slumped on her bed and laughed, she thought if her former clan members saw her what would they really think of their empress?

she missed them, unfortunately they had to disband when she had to move across the waters to the other end of the world.

Zuna was quiet and a lot misunderstood. People often mistook a quiet girl for meek girl, and there is now way in this universe that Zuna Katana King would be meek. But this was a new life, so she thought she would let herself go with the flow. She would gracefully take in what ever was on the way as she let herself flow to the rhythm of the running river. At the right time the empress would be back in her full glory.

Night soon fell and Zuna though it would be long night. She failed to nap during the day and she she could barely sleep at night, that woman still tortured her in her dreams, and she still longed for aunt Lenny at nights, not to forget the gun repeatedly pointing at her every night. Morning came and she was on her bed, sweating and her legs would not move out of her bed. She cried Jesus in a low voice only she could hear.

With that she rose from sleep, heavy breaths... she wondered when this will all end. After calming herself for a few minutes, she went ahead to wash up and then prepare breakfast for her and her mom.

As she entered the kitchen she saw men's shoes at the door. " must be uncle Akande's" she thought to herself. He is her mom's boyfriend... she still didn't know how she felt about him, but she is the last person to be curious about others personal life. She then decided to make breakfast for three.

After breakfast she went to her room and got ready to head to the junior college with her mom. Zuna slicked her hair to a low ponytail with a middle part. She put some Vaseline on her lips and smacked them together. She wore black low cut skinny jeans and a white v-neck shirt.
