20 Settling Down and New Family Save... Half Family.

Morning came and as soon as the sun started shining through the horizon Gabriel opened his eyes and saw his three girl were drooling on the bed.

He got out and stretched, a smell made his nose twitch, he went down and walked towards the prison, inside, Carol was making breakfast with Lori and surprisingly or not Yanet.

"Something smells nice!" he sang as he entered.

"Good Morning to you too Gabriel" said Carol giggling.

"Uugh yes good morning" Gabriel laughed awkwardly.

"Guud Moerning sir" said Yanet ""Did I say it right?" she asked hopefull.

"Si" said Gabriel smiling at her.

She looked happy and resumed cooking. "What are you cooking?, I could smell it from up there" asked Gabriel.

"Just some beans and eggs. We don't have a lot of options, so we'll have to make do with what we have" said Carol.

"We also have Cereal, and since we have dairy cattle we have fresh milk. Jimmy is milking the cow as we speak" said Lori.

Gabriel nodded and Rick came out of his cell "How was your night, Gabriel?" asked Rick with a teasing grin.

The women blushed "Pretty good, after having breakfast I wanted to discuss what we are going to be doing for the day since there is a lot to do"

Rick nodded "I agree, we have to set thing straight here"

Everybody was around, while Rick and Gabriel stood in front of the group, Yanet couldn't be by his side right now since she doesn't speak english but Ren and the twins are teaching her and is trying her hardest to learn it.

"Rick and I have some thing to let you know" started Gabriel.

Rick stepped forward "First we have a good fiel down there, we need to use it and raise crops, but first we'll need to make some cannals that connect to the lake so water goes between"

Everybody seem to understand and nod, Gabriel stepped up next "Now, we have 6 guard towers, One if them is closer to the fields than to the prison, we need to rotate and keep watch at least from three of them, so we don't get surprised by people or walkers. I saw the fence was cut up whe we came here, I fixed them that's why we need guards and I know we don't have many people but more will come and we'll be more confortable then so Marina and Angela are staying in one. I'll be staying in the other one with others since that's where I'll be sleeping. That makes one tower still needed, so Rick will choose two people from you guys"

Gabriel stopped to let them sink it in and continued "I know it's going to be hard, but between those two people in the towers, we'll be rotating, guarding the tower doesn't require a lot so while one watches a tower the other one helps around and when it's time to switch the other person will do the same and so on"

Everyone understood and nodded "and don't worry about guns, Amy brought M4s and other sniper rifles with ammo, but don't shoot unless you have to"

Rick nodded and chose T-dog and Glenn since Daryl refused to.

Rick came next "Next, we will be doing runs to scout for food and anything that can be used to make this place safer"

"Jimmy, today I wanted to focus on making a fence for the animals... but we don't have the fence haha" laughed Gabriel "Don't worry, we'll make a run and either find wood or wire fence to make one, for now, I saw some posts we could use to reinforce the fence right now, it looks safe but if a bunch of walkers are in one spot on the fence, they'll topple down the fence, so we'll reinforce it, that'll be our work for today. Reinforce the fence, keep watch and keep cleaning the prison, it stinks of masculanity" finished Gabriel.

Everybody started working, Gabriel went and reinforce the fence with Rick and Daryl. when they heard something near, gunshots and the screeching of a vehicle.

Gabriel glanced to Daryl and Rick who nodded and hurried to a vehicle.

"What happened?" asked Lori who was outside.

"Have everyone keep an eye out for possible intruders" said Gabriel serious, she nodded and went back alerting everybody.

Gabriel got in Rick's car while Daryl followed them with his bike.

As they made it to the highway, they saw nothing near. Daryl went ahead with his bike to scout ahead while Rick was about to drive the other way.

Gabriel could see the marks of wheels on the direction of Daryl "Wait! let's follow Daryl, those wheel marks look fresh"

Rick nodded "They are about a mile away from the prison, do you think they saw it?"

"No, I don't think so, these marks show someone trying to get away from someone plus the gunshots, better have that revolver loaded Rick"

"Always loaded" joked Rick. "You too, Gabriel"

"Always loaded, Rick" said Gabriel laughing

"P-please, let my wife and daughter go! I'll do anything" pleaded a man who looked to be in his 40s.

"Travis" called a blonde woman who looked ready to fight.

"Madison, I failed you with Nick, I failed my son, Chris. I can't fail you two. Please let me resolve this" he pleade Madison, his wife.

Madison looked troubled because she was done letting people take away her loved ones, she wanted to fight back but in front of them were 3 cars with 8 men woth guns, she would have risked it but Alicia, her only reamaining kid was here afraid.

"Hehe come on! man! these beautiful ladies? there is no way we'll let them go to waste keke" laughed the leader of the group whistling at the others to grab them while he pulled out his gun and pointed it at Travis.

"Claimed!" said ond of them looking at Alicia. Alicia felt a shivered seeing the man's leering eyes at her. She wanted to cry, she was weak right now, she had lost her brother and was cooping with his death. and now it seems they were about to be some group's plaything.

"Well, rules are rules. Billy gets the young girl" said the leader.

Travis was about to risk his life for Madison and Alicia to let them escape, he thought he was dealing with people, but these, these were animals who didn't care about anyone but themselves. Travis felt sick seeing them talk about Alicia as if she was some auction item. Travis was holding on to the hope that people can still go back the way they were before the outbreak but right now, that thought sounded ridicuolus in their situation. He grabbed his hidden gun and was about to pull it out whe they heard a voice.

"Claim!"

The leader of the group was about to ask who clamied the milf but saw his men looking confused, he frowned "Who said it?"

"I did" responded back the voice, they looked up into a tree and saw a really huge guy crouching on a branch.

"Joe, let's kill that motherfucker, he ain't got businnes with us"

Joe, the leader calmed his group down "Who are you my friend?" he asked wary after all, it's not everyday they see a huge fvcking guy in military clothing.

"Me? I'm just here to kill you of course" smiled Gabriel as soon as he said that a rifle shot with silencer was heard whistling and a arrow going to someone head.

Gabriel was surprised to see Daryl kill some, he looked at him and Daryl onmy nodded, Gabriel nodded back and jumped down from the tree.

He ran to Travis's family while the other group hid behind their vehicles.

"Thank you for saving us" said Travis thankfull.

Gabriel stared at Travis and both wome before smiling "No problem, I dispise these kinds of people the most"

"Yeah"

"I'm Gabriel by the way"

"I'm Travid and this is my wife and daughter, Madison and Alicia"

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Travis and beautiful ladies. Now, if you don't mind. I gotta help the others"

Gabriel went back on time to see Rick about to kill the last guy. "Stop Rick!"

Rick stopped "What happened?"

"Who are you and why were you with those guys?" asked Gabriel staring at the man's eyes.

"I am..."
