The zombie was trying to leap onto another building. This building was facing another dorm building, such that one could see the corridors and room doors of that building from the window. The dorm buildings were no more than two meters away from each other, so it was able to jump into another building easily as a zombie.
However, before it reached the other building, Ling Qiao gave it a neat claw attack from behind in the midair.
