2 Divine Power and Divinity Explained

Divine power

Divine Power is a substance that is native to divine lifeforms. It is used by a divine being to control and manipulate magic creating a range of different effects including but not limited to physical and mental enhancement, elemental manipulation and transmutation as well as performing various types of magics.

It is created when two primal energies known as 'stamina' are moulded together. Physical Energy is collected from an individual's physical essence which can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. While Spiritual Energy is derived from the mind's consciousness which can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience.

These two energies becoming more powerful will in turn make the created Divine power more powerful. Therefore, practising a technique repeatedly will build up experience, increasing one's Spiritual Energy and thus allowing more Divine Power to be created. As a result, the individual can do that same technique with more power.

This same cycle applies to Physical Energy, except the individual needs to increase their endurance instead. Some unique individuals have substantial potential that enables them to exponentially increase their Divine Power in a relatively short amount of time.

At any given time, an individual will have a 'maximum' amount of Divine Power that they can form and use before it runs out and they need to rest to replenish it. With practice, this maximum can be increased, but to a certain extent as they are limited to the quantity and strength of Divine Power that their ancestry grants them.

For example, Prometheus has average Divine Power, but no amount of training can grant him the same amount of immense Divine Power as Atlas. If a being is given far more Divine Power than it can handle, then the body would potentially be killed by the overwhelming power.

Because Divine Power takes time and a great deal of training to gradually build up, the key to its use is not having large amounts of Divine Power but instead being able to sufficiently control and conserve it. This is called Divine Energy Control. To have good Divine Energy Control, an individual should only mould as much Divine Power as they need to perform a given ability.

If they mould more Divine Energy than is needed, the excess energy is wasted and they will tire out faster from its loss. If they don't mould enough Divine Energy, a technique will not be performed effectively, if at all, likely creating problems in a combat situation. Because Divine Power consists in part of spiritual energy, the user is more easily able to mould the correct amount of Divine Power by remaining calm and focused.

Divinity/ Domain/Divine Authority

'Divine Authority' is a classification of special abilities possessed by the likes of the Divine lifeforms of the world. That they gain after awakening a Divinity or gaining a domain.

'Divine Authority are on the level of reality-warping with one's domain of influence as long as one has enough comprehension and understanding of their Divinity. This includes things like time-flow manipulation, animal manipulation, soul manipulation and other such powers of that level.

While normal skills 'achieve a certain result based on some logical process or principle.' ''Divine Authorities'' 'realize a result simply because the user has the right to do so.'

'Divinity' symbolizes the highest truth of the world, it is the origin and source of all things and the absolute principles underlying the universe. It is also the very code of behaviour that is in harmony with the natural order.

When divine beings gain or awaken their 'Divinity,' they can comprehend the laws of the world and thus gain vast supernatural powers from their domain of influence and follow its rules to display their skills.

Users can gain divinity by having a divine ancestry, transform into a deity either by another god or by faith, channels act as a vessel for, the power/soul of a deity, mimic/steal powers from a deity, or be enhanced/evolved to the point of godhood.

The level and forms of divinity are variable and unique by the user's nature and character of being, thus weaker or stronger users of divinities are ultimately reliant on the user alone.
