Chapter 81: Zenin Appearance

" Before we fight, I must ask you an important question. What's your type of woman? "

Mute stares at Yuki confused before he pushes off the pile of rubble under him gingerly standing back up on his feet. Mute ponders for a little while before answering Yuki's question. 

" Hmm, I prefer my woman to be pretty short. Of course with a big ass and personally, I like brunettes over blondes. "

Said Mute rubbing his chin. Yuki smacked her lips annoyed. Clearly, she didn't like the answer that Mute had given. Yuki starts to slowly approach Mute before speaking. 

" Looks like you said everything that I don't have except one thing of course. "

Mute stared at Yuki with an amused look before he spoke. 

" Have you come to flirt with me or fight me?"

" There's no need to rush into your death Mute. Enjoy your final moments talking to a beautiful woman such as myself. "

Says Yuki. Mute lets out a loud sigh before waving his hand, sending a web of string toward Yuki. Yuki's eyes stare at the incoming web of string before she smirks. In a flash, a white shikigami blurred through the air before slicing the incoming web of string. 

As the cut string fell onto the floor, the shikigami slowly wrapped itself around Yuki, hovering a few inches above her body. Mute stared at the shikigami confused until Yuki spoke. 

" This is my cursed tool Garuda. It's an odd little thing isn't it? But like you said, let's skip the small talk and start our battle, Mute. "...

As Yuki and Mute's battle is about to begin something huge is now happening. All around the city, a new arrival of a force has begun. On each side of the city, a wave of Zenin Clan members is now entering Shinjuku. On the left side of the city. Two Zenin Clan members could be seen lurking in the shadows of a dark cold alleyway. 

" Remember, our goal here is to kill Mute. If Geto arrives do not engage him. "

Says Naobito staring at his son who is staring out the alleyway with a smug look. Naoya watches as his father's body quickly vanishes, leaping off the walls of the alleyway, before jumping onto the roof and following the raven. The raven soars through the sky as Naobito follows it. Naobito leaps from roof to roof before he stops seeing Mei Mei standing lonesome with his axe leaning on her shoulder. 

Mei Mei stared at Naobito as he slowly approached before stopping a few feet away from her and speaking. 

" So, what do you want?"

Mei Mei scoffed before swiftly responding.

" I'm here to ask you to let me be the one that kills Mute. "

Naobito looks at Mei Mei confused before speaking once again. 

" Hmm, why would you want to kill Mute? I know you had a troubled past with his sister, Null. However, I've only heard about a brief skirmish between him and you. And you weren't giving it your all. "

Mei Mei nodded her head before she responded. 

" Correct. I was ordered by Null to battle her little brother to see how much stronger he'd gotten. When we fought in that forest, he was still around grade 2 or 3 but that's changed. He's now special grade. If I could have killed him without being slaughtered by Null, I would have killed him in that forest years ago. So, let me be the one to kill him. He's going to get badly injured fighting Gojo. He'll most likely escape and when that happens let me be the one that finishes him off."...

As Naobito listened to Mei Mei's reason for wanting to kill Mute. Back in the alleyway, Naoya could still be seen patiently watching the sorcerers battle the cursed spirits. However, Naoya's patience was quickly running out. He was growing bored. Naoya started tapping his right foot until in the corner of his eye. He saw two figures fleeing while carrying a body.

Naoya stared at Mimiko and Nanako running away before he smirked and slowly approached. Tracking them down until they reached the forest...
