8 Chapter 8. The Fall of Serabeft
Gerrift was shocked by the sudden shift in perspective. He was looking up at Hiro with a pain in his stomach. He recalled he tried to stomp on Hiro and Hiro dodged out of the way and kick him in the stomach. Hiro stood on Gerrift's face.
"How dare you? You insignificant worm! Do you really think you can defeat the Yakioni?"
"I didn't come to defeat. I came to destroy."
In that moment Hiro flashed back to the training that he'd had with Theo.
"How will you get your revenge against the clan's that took everything from you?"
"I'll just kill them all!"
"It's easy to give into your anger and kill but doesn't that just let them off easily?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well think of this boy if you kill them then they will be afraid and then die ending all of their suffering. Punishment isn't always killing there are other ways to punish those whom have wronged you. Things far worse than death...."
Hiro snaps back to the current fight between himself and Gerrift.
"Say mister unbreakable i have an idea i've never done it successfully just yet but oh well you can't perfect something without a few failures."
Hiro crossed his arms and put energy into his finger tips.
"Magic Sealing Art 3: Excruciating Paralysis:
Hiro jumps up above Gerrift and strikes the giant's shoulder and knee joints and the center of his body.
Gerrift let's out a scream.
"My arms!! My legs!!!! I can't move them.... They hurt suchhh.... intense....pain!!!!!! What did you do to me?"
Hiro laughs and grins like a devil
"I didn't think that'd actually work!! I was hoping it killed you but this works just as well. The paralysis is temporary but during it you'll go through the most brutal pain imaginable. Apparently it increases in severity. You'll be able to move in about a month. I wonder how long Giants can survive without food and water. Oh well! Not my problem. Oh and your magic won't ever come back"
Gerrift passes out from the intense pain.
"One down a whole village to go."
Hiro want to attract as much attention as possible.He climbs a tree and then lights it on fire. He stands confidently and crosses his arms as the flames consume the tree. He yell at the top of his lungs
"Hey! You Takiyaki or Onigiri bastards your gate guardian seems to have fallen asleep on the job!
How can anyone respect the great and powerful Yakitori if you can't even stop me from breaking your weak little gate."
Angered the yakioni send out some of their fiercest warriors the earth god brothers
Enai and Rensai. Enai carried a large shield the size of a giants torso and Rensai carried a spear.
"I am Enai!"
"And I am Rensai!"
"WE ARE THE EARTH GOD BROTHERS OF THE YAKIONI!!!!!!!"
Enai brandished his shield and Rensai pointed his spear at Hiro.
"PREPARE TO DIE WHERE YOU STAND!!!"
Rensai throw the spear at hiro and cuts down the entire tree in the process. Hiro jumps out of the way. Enai appears behind him and smashes him into the ground. Hiro guarded against the shield but still had alittle damage from blocking the shield
"I see you earth worm brothers don't play around. Very well I guess I can't go this whole time holding back can i?"
Hiro takes a deep breath pulling energy into his body.
"Ignition fists!!"
Hiro's hands are lit ablaze as he gets into a fighting stance. Enai and Rensai come at Hiro again. Rensai grabs his spear and plunges it into the ground. He claps his hands together in prayer hand and takes a step forward. The earth begins to break.
"Oh mother gaia who strengthens my magic. Spear my foes so that their blood can nurture you. EARTH MAGIC:ONE THOUSAND SPEARS!!!"
The ground splits making spears made of rock going towards hiro. Hiro flips and dodges out of the way of most of them. Enai appears above him.
"Oh great mother gaia who fortified my body and my shield so that I may protect my brother give me the strength to bring down the heavens so that it may nurture you.EARTH MAGIC:FALLING RAIN!!!"
Enai's magic caused clay to fall from the sky above Hiro catching him and forcing him toward the rock spears. Hiro felt the dread of real battle as he plummeted to earth toward his death. Hiro began to be excited by being pushed.
"If this was too easy it wouldn't have been any fun. Thank you Enai and Rensai you have taught me a valuable lesson. OMNIDIRECTIONAL FLAME SHOT!!!!!"
Hiro shoots flames out around himself turning the clay into breakable hardened clay..Hiro forces himself out of the clay toward Enai and Rensai.
"This is gonna hurt! MAGIC SEALING ART 3:EXCRUCIATING PARALYSIS!!!!!"
Hiro hits the joints and centers of Enai and Rensai so quickly they couldn't react. They then both pass out.
"You left yourselves wide open"
Hiro continued his rampage throughout serabeft disabling all the giants in his path with such ferocity that a hydra would shake. Hiro arrives at the leader of the Yakioni, Hayeganto. Hiro kicks open the door with flames coming from his arms.
"I am Hayeganto leader of the Yakioni what is the meaning of this?"
"Well well well if it isn't the head dung eater himself"
"How dare you speak to me like that you little insignificant....."
"Yeah yeah yeah I've heard it all before whilst I kicked the crap out of your Yakitori warriors or whatever "
"Their is no way my warriors would ever lose to a whatever you are"
Hiro opens up the door to show the village burning down and all of the giants on the grounds not moving.
"You need better warriors."
"They are the greatest fighting force of any giants!!!What kind of trickery is this?"
"Oh it's no trickery I beat them all one by one and stripped them of everything they hold so dear."
Frightened Hayeganto asks Hiro.
"Did you kill them all?"
"No, I did something far worse to them but they are very much alive. But what I'm going to do to you is going to make what I did to them look like heaven."
Hayeganto draws his sword and swings at Hiro to Hiro doesn't move and instead catches the sword and lights himself of fire melting the sword. Hiro runs up the handle of the sword and uses his half of the sword to cut off Hayeganto's arms and cauterise them. Hiro then focus his fire into a blade and cuts off Hayeganto's legs. Hiro stands on Hayeganto's huge face singeing his facial hair as he walks closer to his eyes.
"Why are you doing this to us? I'm sure the Yakioni have never crossed your kind before. We've never experienced the fires of the dwarfs or dragons."
Hiro begins to laugh hysterically.
"This is amazing better than I could have ever hoped. Well let me explain shall I. You don't know why I came to destroy the Yakioni or why you're left feeble and afraid. You don't know why your village is destroyed and your people are at the brink of death. Good! That's how my village felt when your battle with another clan wiped out my village. You're always so high and mighty not thinking you could ever truly be defeated now look at your great clan in ruins."
"We couldn't have possibly wiped out a clan with members as strong as you by accident!!"
"Oh but you did because I'm not a halfling or a dragon or dwarf."
"Then what are you?????"
"I'm human."
"Impossible there has never been a human who wields fire or as powerful as you!"
"Oh you better believe it. This world for too long has stepped on the lowest of the magical food chain all because we didn't have magic. Well I'm about to turn this whole dynamic upside down. For once a giant is looking up to me."
Hiro creates a flame in his hand.
"Tell me the name of the clan whom the Yakioni fought with in the Forest of Everylasting Moss and I'll spare your life."
"It was the high blood elves they used some kind of powerful magic that wiped out alot of my men. I'm betting that was the attack that destroyed your village. Now please leave this place and spare me."
" I see they are my next target. If your clans weren't fighting and so unconcerned with the outcome your clan wouldn't have gone through this. But very well I'll spare your life but not your eyes."
Hiro ignites his hand and burns Hayeganto's eyes making him blind.
"And so I don't forget here is my revenge. Magic Sealing Art 3: Excruciating Paralysis "
Hiro jumps off his Hayeganto and goes into the doorway
"This my revenge against the Yakioni never forget who did this to you. My name is Hiro Kurokumo let darkness be your new sight."
Hiro leaves the village inflamed putting an end to the once great Yakioni. The story of his brutality spread through the world. It sounded like a nightmare but reached the throne room of the high blood elves.
"Sire what should we do?"
"Contact the Vencartus and demand a summons. I must know if one of there halfling brats rampaged on the Yakioni. As loathsome as the Yakioni were they were formidable warriors I wouldn't want to go up against them again on my best day. To think that some little half breed would have enough power to wipe them out is unheard of. One or two maybe but the whole clan ??? I want to know who could do such a thing."
The future king of the High Blood elves, Prince Sasuna Egalhearth. Thought about this situation.
"If the rumors are to be believed and he had found out about our involvement he may be headed here next. No matter, we can crush some halfling because we are the greatest of all demihumans blessed by the goddess Athena herself. No one will ever defeat us no matter who this thing is."
