16 Chapter 16. Revenge or Compassion?

After Hiro killed the elf that threatened him he looked around at the fire he created. Hiro smiled and was surrounded by the elvenguard.

"By the order of The Royal Prince Sasuna Egalhearth Halt your actions immediately!"

"I think you have the wrong impression I'm not trying to run I'm trying to attract as many of you bastards as possible."

Prince Sasuna is shocked by the sudden burst of flames but remembered that the Yakioni were attacked by a fire-wielding creature.

"I, Prince Sasuna Egalhearth, first in line for the throne order you to execute that creature with extreme prejudice."

Hiro laughs.

"So you're the head hole of all these asses."

"What did you just call me you uncultured reprobate?"

"I said you're the lowest form of scum under a pile of excrement. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear enough for you. I thought elves were smarter than insects I guess I was wrong."

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY YOU MONGREL!!!!!!! KILL HIM NOW LEAVE NOTHING BEHIND."

"My my I pissed you off. Good. Throw everything you have at me your army, your guard, your entire kingdom. I'll destroy it all."

Hiro uses Ignition fists but alters it igniting his legs and arms.

"Ignition fists: Flame body. I'll come up with a better name later."

The elvenguard is scared into putting up barriers around themselves. Hiro punches through one of the guard's barriers and grabs his face engulfing him in flame. He punches and kicks through the other barriers and engulfs them all in flames. They are writhing in agony from the flames. The other elves use water magic to put them out. Other elves appear using plant magic to trap Hiro in thorns and vines.

"While that creature is trapped use Reaper's Law."

Just then flames burst through the cocoon of vines and thorns eviscerating them. Hiro continues his rampage. Roots and vines try to trap Hiro but they incinerated upon contact. The elves use combination magic to strengthen the vines and roots. Hiro is so caught up in the fight he accidentally started using his fire to fly.

" I'm flying this is crazy! No time to enjoy it just yet."

The vines and roots fly at Hiro chasing him around as he avoids being caught.

"Flame shot!"

Hiro battles the vines mid-air pushing them back but they overpower his flame shot and pin him to a tree.

"This is starting to look a little bad for me."

"Not so tough now are you?"

"Are you kidding? I'm finally having fun!"

"What was your intention here? Why start a battle that you're so clearly outmatched in?"

"Oh, I just need to create a big enough distraction to pull away enough guards for that to happen."

Angelica uses the skeleton key to take off her father's magic bindings and she puts up a barrier to protect her father.

"Dad are you alright?"

"Never better darling. I might go for another round. I had them right where I wanted them."

Angelica gets angry and punches him in the head.

"How is being tortured and about to be executed right where you wanted them?"

"It was all apart of my ingenious plan to convince them all that humans are our equals."

She punches him in the head again.

"Oww Owww Owww Don't you have any compassion for your dad? I am hurt after all."

"You idiot. Mom said we have to look out for each other especially when you start doing things that could get you killed."

'Your mother was always so caring and feisty. You get that temper from her ya know."

She punches him again with tears in her eyes. And hugs him.

"I'm so glad you're alive."

"As am I. Is that little Hiro over there?"

"Yes."

"I haven't seen him in years we need to save him he looks like he's in trouble."

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about him. It's safer for us to not get in his way. You should be worried about the elves."

"What do you mean?"

"Take these we're going to need your magic to make a strong enough barrier."

Angelica hands her father the healing items so he can recover. Once recovered he starts to put his magic into the barrier making it monumentally stronger.

"Shouldn't we be using our magic to save Hiro?"

"Nope, he just needs the go-ahead so he can let loose."

Angelica holds a thumbs up symbol.

"As touching as all that was you're still trapped."

Hiro sees the sign and his flames burn through the vines and roots. Hiro massages his shoulder a little and cracks his neck.

"I was getting sick and tired of letting weaklings kick me around. It's time I start doing some kicking."

Hiro dashes toward the elves in the blink of an eye and is next to the elves. He appears in slow motion because of the speed of him floating down. He punches and kicks all of the elvenguard simultaneously.

"I'll kill you all later."

Hiro looks at Prince Sasuna with a rage-filled glare.

"Is that the best you got?"

Prince Sasuna pulls out a horn and blows it. Twelve elves appear instantaneously. They are all hoodied in white robes and are all facing Hiro.

"This is the High Bloodied elves' greatest warrior group. They have won countless battles for us and their magic is unparalleled in Griamore. They have more magic than our entire army combine. They are the elite guard known as The Silver Blade."

"Is this the group that fought the Yakioni in the Forest of Everlasting Moss?"

"The very same."

"Good!"

Hiro dashes toward the biggest guy and rips off his arms and lights the arms on fire. He focuses the flame into a blade and decapitates him. The elf next to him tries to react to use his magic on Hiro. Hiro appears behind him burning through both of his legs with a kick. Hiro grabs his throat and burns him to ashes. One elf dodges back and cast an immobilization spell on him. Hiro fights through the spell and burns a hole through him. Hiro kicks another elf in the throat burning his windpipe so that he can't breathe.

"Anywho wants to still follow that worthless Prince of yours and die, stay right where you are."

Two elves drop their weapons and run away.

"Pathetic!"

Hiro sends fire catching the two elves burning them to ash.

"Just what the hell are you? The fire magic your using is unique to dwarfs, dragon hybrids, and dragons. You don't seem to be any of them."

Hiro laughs

"Well, I'm not one of them."

One of the elves steps up and takes off his hood.

"I am known as Aesir. I have never met such a worthy opponent. I'm not so easy to take out as those fodder."

Hiro shoots fire at Aesir and is countered with high-level water magic. The battlefield erupts into steam. Water shoots through the steam in a precise beam. Hiro barely dodged out of the way but the beam grazed his face leaving behind a small cut.

"Damn you got me. This hasn't happened in a while."

"Like I told you before I'm nothing like that fodder."

"I have to agree. I'll actually have to try to kill you."

Aesir raises his hand to the sky and clouds begin to turn black.

"Rainfall"

"Well, you can change the weather a little wind isn't going to stop my fire."

"I'm just making it more difficult to keep that fire up. Waterfall Typhoon"

Water crashes down on Hiro wrapping around him and throws him into a tree.

"Okay, that hurt a little."

"Ice crystal daggers"

The rainfall forms into ice-like spears and shoots at Hiro. The pressure Aesir is putting on Hiro makes it incredibly difficult to counter. Hiro keeps blocking and dodging trying to get out of the way of the ice.

"You didn't forget we were here did you?"

Two elves appear behind Hiro using plant magic that creates roots and vines that bind his arms.

"This was fun but now this is the end for you. Ice Bow: Piercing Arrow!"

The elf shoots off an ice arrow aimed at Hiro's heart. The arrow gets closer and closer gathering ice and increasing speed.

"Now DIE!!!"
