1 Chapter 1:

Zelda's P.O.V.

Sitting here on the stained dungeon floor surrounded by blood. How did I get here, why did it happen to me, my life was going perfectly, then HE showed up, let's start from the beginning.

(Two months before)

Today is my seventeenth birthday, I'm not really that happy about it since it just means that pretty soon I'll have to marry a prince I don't know. I went down to the dinning hall to eat breakfast and found my father.

"Ah, you're awake, good, make sure that you get to the great hall at noon for our guests." "But father, you said that I could go out and ride Emily in Hyrule Field at noon, since it's my birthday." "No! You need to greet our guests, you will not go out and hide that horse today, you will meet me in the great hall at noon!!"

My eyes filled with tears and I calmly stood and walked out the door and ran to my room, my father was always like this, he always changed his mind at the last minute, he was always cold to me, he treated me like I wasn't his real daughter and I'm tired of it, I grabbed my hood and a bag for food.

I went to the kitchens to get some food, I grabbed some fruit and made a run for the stables. I got there and got on Emily and tried to leave. Then the guards spotted me. I made a run for it, going as fast as Emily could go I made it through castle town and I was in Hyrule field, the guards stopped following me in castle town and now I was free.

(time skip)

We had been traveling for about a day and we stopped to rest and get water in a lake clearing in Faron Woods and sat at a tree trunk and before I knew it I fell asleep… I heard rustling in the bushes to my right, I quickly opened my eyes and got on my feet. I looked around but I couldn't see Emily anywhere. I looked back at the bushes and saw a bokoblin emerge, I quickly turned around and ran then I stumbled when I felt an arrow hit my upper back. I looked back and the bokoblin was chasing me so I kept running...a few minutes later I felt another arrow hit my lower leg and I tripped, this time when I looked back there was another bokoblin after about another minute of more painful running I found huge bridge I tried to walk across being careful not to step where I shouldn't, I couldn't feel my leg and I was lightheaded. I made it across the bridge and I found a beautiful spring the the sun reflected off the clear water, I started to walk towards and that's when I realized how much I was bleeding, I looked down and some of the water was red then my vision went blurry and then disappeared, then I felt my head hit the ground.
