10 2780-Space City Iron Lake (044165)-Iron Lake

P.O.V Zatland Mind

Iron Lake (044165) was not a city named after a lake that borders its perimeter. This was space, and that would be impossible.

Instead, it got its name after its most successful tourist attraction, The Harchiles(hAr-Chi-lees)Iron Lake Coliseums...

Someone wanted to spell the name Hercules, but because of lack of research into the character's origins, believed the name spelled like its mispronunciation. He also manages to make his conjectured guess of the name fall in between the real names of mythological heroes Hercules and Achilles of Greece.

He couldn't be blamed for his mistakes though, you'd have to read a book on Greek mythology to know any better, and only the historian researched that far back.

But I always assumed a person would read up on the information of a character they were naming their business after.

This type of thing was contributing to the loss of earth cultural knowledge and was probably helping obscure the future generations Knowledge, on these famous real heroes.

So, I found that insulting after reading through a few of their mythologies and watching movies.

Even if they were originally regular militants of a now forgotten era, Hercules and Achilles were real-life soldiers, that emphasized their military accomplishment so much, so that they were immortalized, their names told among the gods for eras after.

Based on their true real-life stories, we cannot say that they are good people, but nobody would say they are evil. Even though their stories could be interpreted both ways.

if you look at them as men, both Achilles and Hercules would be subject to human standards, and some of their accomplishment could be seen as atrocities and accidents.

but then they were demi-god fighting among the sides of men.

Demi-Gods what a concept, a hero whose fame was so immortalized, they retold the basic religion in which everyone believed.

Maybe that is why Greek mythology was so multi-layered, first, there were the Titans, then the gods, then demigods,( then Kratos), then the humans, each generation besting each other with a weaker foundation.

The mortal comes next because they can die, it tells that all creation dies, and all previous generations no matter how mighty they are; are still just stepping stone for the masses.

I guess it can also mean, that we are the cause of our own damnation.

Anyways the Harchiles coliseum was built in the dead center of the city.

Now you'd think a piece of prime real estate like that would belong to the government or an official, but that wasn't the case, in this case, it belongs to a man named Ige Tony.

That's his First and last name, by the way.

(unbelievable)

around 76 years ago when the Iron lake space stations were first being built, Ige Tony's great-grandfather won over the owner of multiple space stations a piece of land in a bet.

The owner he won against was a very connected man from an influential family. And Tony's grandfather was given the right to choose any piece of land currently being constructed in the sector (Pompously);

Now pay attention to the word Pompous, cause that what lead to the iron lake being built weirdly.

It seems this man for no right or reason of his own, got on Ige Tony's great grandparent's nerves.

The way he just started throwing around the property, like it meant nothing to him. Made Ige Tony's grandparent feel so patronized and diminished. He wanted to refuse the bet.

he wanted too, but he wasn't an idiot, he still wanted the property.

Ige Tony's great grandpa was in a dilemma, take something from a man he wanted nothing to do with or refuse it like an idiot.

After much time debating over his choice he selected a reserved piece of land dead center in the middle of military base construction, just to be spiteful…

The Owner's face froze.

That wasn't acceptable, to do that would mean the halt in the development of an army base. They couldn't just have a random set of civilian's dead center in their defensive facilities. This was land that they loaned away to the government. They could get all sorts of money from the arrangement. They didn't want to have to share the profit with him.

Ige Tony's great-grandfather was unrelenting.

Not knowing when to give up, he started spouting a bunch of ranting tirades that paraphrased to the simple terms "you promised me." over and over again.

The original owner, in the end, got angry too, seeing Tony's great gramps rantings as a tarnishment of his reputation, he signed off on offer, accepting with a twist.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Four massive walls got built around the perimeter of the land; boxing it in.

The entire place had no road to it, and you'd have to skydive or glide to find the land.

It was petty as fuck!

To add insult to injury, like a ripple originating from the inside, every other building coming outward from it was slightly smaller.

Slightly. Smaller. Sky. Scrapers. The city looked like a ripple of water from the top.

I'm laughing!

miles upon miles of tall buildings and dorms.

It made a massive impossible hard to scale staircase, with the roofs for other buildings as a path.

A path an old man would die climbing. If given the access to climb the area. By the way, he wasn't.

….

Space stations are pretty much giant interconnected boats that float through a particular sector of space.

They have size limits, and the existent of skyscrapers made it so that hellicarrier couldn't fly through the station.

Ige's great-grandparent got screwed.

he spent years ranting about that injustice to his poker buddies, so much so, that his great-grandson Ige Tony grew up hearing the story of how a great-grandparent of his, was tricked out of a plot of land by a government dog...

Well, what could he do, he came, he saw, he conquered, then got cocky, and lost everything.

Years passed and Later with no plans in life, Ige Tony our hero decides to joins the military for himself.

what happens next is lucky, because he doesn't make a very good soldier.

He lucks out, like wishing on a magical star.

On his senior year of service in the military base, then called iron base (044165), he is sent out on a mission that uncovers the whereabouts of a group of rogue alien spies.

Ige Tony being nothing more but a foot soldier is taken along on a mission that becomes legendary,

in the footage of fighting off alien insurgences among a previously peaceful space station, you could see Ige Tony amongst the famous crew fighting for his life.

Only twenty of the crew members survived.

Ige Tony had to leave the army on honorable discharge, based on his lose of an arm.

But It wasn't two months after he got discharged, that he became famous. Footage of Ige Tony's battle against hordes of enemies released, footage of him pretty much giving up hope and letting bullets fly randomly among hordes of camdon bug aliens surfaced.

the despaired look as he fired into something he believed would kill him, was put on replay for all to see, as the coolest moment in a nearby military campaign.

Ige in a battle that lasted just one day, between six to seven hours, became famous and rich as hell.

Khalib Zuallen- Your son is adapting to the process of his mind speed acquisition well, it seems he was meant to be a speed thinker. He might be faster than you.

Frenor Zuallen- All these stupid thoughts, do they matter?

(Khalib looked up, into a virtual representation of Zatlands mind)

Kahlib Zuallen- yeah, they do, they show were his intellect lies. The way he contemplates things.

Reminds me of why you started taking drugs.

He doesn't think! He examines all situations, from multiple points of views….the sign of a genius don't you believe?

Frenor Zuallen- it looks to me like he's just buying into the military propaganda.

Khalib Zuallen- No he's reviewing information he acquired, based on prior hearsay and knowledge.
