1 truck-san and life of zane

my names zane and I knew it would happen the moment I arrived at the crosswalk and saw it. it was actually the noise first yelling people pointing some even started to move only to stop with fear in their eyes. I quickly looked towards the sound and there he was middle of a big lane picking up a ball as if there was nothing wrong. and there barreling down the road a drunk driver in a delivery truck to out of it to see the kid. My body was suddenly in motion arms swinging back and forth running far faster than ever before. it's funny my first thought wasn't about me being about to die it was actually ''ah of course it's truck-san how reliable to the story it has to be fate well let's do it like it's supposed to happen. and suddenly I'm right next to him I don't slow down I grab him under the arms and toss him right into some people who are closest before he's out our earshot I manage to say '' look both way next Time" and suddenly there was Darkness. and then like a switch has been flipped there was light every single inch was blinding with light and in the middle of the room for that's what it was. Was a desk two chairs a modern computer a piece of paper and a pen and obviously some kind of god sitting in front of the computer just clicking away. I figured I should just take a seat and wait it out so not to anger the old man. so I plopped down and stared into space thinking about the life I left. if you asked about my emotions right now I would probably say I'm quite satisfied why, because for the past eighteen years I would hardly call my life satisfying. My mom and dad died when I was ten years old. an airplane crash leaving me with my grandfather known the world over as Sutorōku de shibō or death in one stroke the mercenary most feared the world over for his lifetime of study of martial arts. since his debate decades ago he's never needed more than one strike to kill. My childhood was hell he basically said "No grandson of his will be weak", since then he hammered his teachings into me first I needed the strength to endure his training so he loaded me with weights took me into the woods gave me a knife hatchet and flint and said for "for the next five months I want you to survive never take the weights off or he'll double the amount I'll be watching but the only time I will help is if your almost dead first lesson i want to see how much your life is worth to you one of the most powerful motivators there is is the will to live so show me Zane will u lay down and die or survive and become strong enough to walk the world without fear strong enough to be free" it's his eyes I always remember they were blazing with strength and confidence that no matter what he'll be fine I may have been a kid but I lost the people I love the most so seeing those eyes made something inside me light a fire of resolve I wanted that look that power so I put my life on the line I almost starved for weeks if not for the berries my body constantly screaming from trying to catch game. I grew smart I set traps sprinkled berries on the trails while I hide in bushes. that also never worked with the wait I wasn't fast enough so I started practicing throwing sharp rocks I figured if I can stun a rabbit I can kill it it. it took weeks of practice till it happened a rabbit was in my strike zone and before I realized what happened the stone left my hand and I was right behind it, it tried to jump but it was to late it struck perfectly on it's head make it flop on it's side dazed I wasted no time jumping on it and in one swift moment I thrust my dagger into it's neck killing it swiftly. I sit there panting looking at the blood on my hands then the rabbit and it's like all the steam ran out of me I lay down for a few minutes before grabbing my spoils and trudging back to what you can call a camp for a ten year old a towering tree that at it's base is a hole just slightly bigger than he is it keeps out of the rain that's enough also there a mellow stream so clear you can see the bottom perfect for drinking water and cleaning himself up. the one thing that stands out is a little one room shack that looks like built from sturdy logs. That's wear his grandfather usually is, today he was out front doing one handed push ups upside down. "Hey grandpa got a sec". Hey stands up and gives me a glance it always tacks me aback looking at him he's all intimidation in a surprisingly young body looking around mid thirtys body with well defined muscles not very large perfect proportions with a black goatee and long flowing black hair with green eyes ask almost any of the female gender and they will unanimously agree he is perfection in one deadly can. "what's up boy" he asks I show him the rabbit I'm dragging causing his eyebrows to raise and a rare small smile to show. it made me proud. shibo:"well looks like your finally going to get off those berries good your body needs meat". zane:"right I'm starving that's why I called ive already learnt how to start a fire can you please show me how to skin this I know you don't want to help but this won't affect my training please". I gave him the biggest sad look when finally he just looked at me and finally sighed shibo:" I supposed so kid it won't hurt". and that was the start the next few months. some of the most brutal there were, I once fought alone against a wolf pack with nothing except a knife and lived though just barely. and then after we had come out of the woods we hit the gym full out pushing me till I broke and building me back up till my body was strong enough to handle his teaching first it was karate, followed by judo then boxing all to set maximize my foundation for the advance styles like Kyokushin, Dim Mak, Muay Thai and Krav Maga. then he trained my mind he never left academics out spending four hours a day on math, science and history. he taught me to speak in Japanese, Chinese Russian, French and German. and finally he taught me how to kill he took me to a place where people fight to the death for large sums of money and told me to make enough to live for ten years as this point I was already seventeen. The first couple fights I almost died due to the thoughts of killing but when I remember that five months in the woods I felt free of burden then I destroyed the opposition all the martial arts I ever learned came together in a whole new style and they all teach a simple rule to show no hesitation from my next fight on it starts taking less and less blows to end my opponent I went to eight different rings around Japan Russia the USA and China that by the end of my marathon I also had a name people called me silent death because I never said a word to my opponent I thought it was pointless. then out of nowhere my grandpa says he's got business he has to handle and it will be a few years before he gets back. I was kinda shocked all this time he was with me guiding me now I kinda didn't know where to go luckily he foresaw this he enrolled me into a private high school in Japan where I can go for junior and senior year enough time to get some actual people skills I admit the thought of having a vacation sounds nice I would still hit the gym and train but my focus was on a little relaxing and maybe losing my virginity my grandpa had lots of female company over the years and looking like a younger version of home sans goatee and just a little over six foot I've had a few looks come my way I've been mistaken for being in my twenties. We said goodbye at my new flat courtesy of my fights just ten minute walk to school. My first day was eventful to say the least the minute I walk on campus almost every pair of eyes are on me the girls have stars like they found a treasure and the guys look like they swallowed lemons. it was easy I suppose lieing to everyone about my childhood all I said was I was homechooled and my hobby at the time were martial arts it become a loop go to school flirt with girls study train at home. Then I saw it for the first time a manga the kid next to me was reading at first I was only looking because the fighting style looked somewhat familiar so I asked if I could take a look and after I read the first couple pages it's like I couldn't get enough the manga was called Naruto and it was at the point when Madera is fully revived and starts kicking the shit out of the allied shinobe alliance with just

taijutsu and nothing else it was everything I wanted to use my skills for and more I've never seen kids shows read fantasy books or been exposed to a lot of tv and it opened a world for me I looked at the kid for the first time kinda small mousy wears glasses and hunched shoulders I see a boy escaping life and remember when I was a kid that just wanted to hide so I asked him his name he told me matsuya so I introduced myself and looked him in the and decided I wanna help him and myself.so I said matsuya I'll tell you the truth I've never been to school I've also never been around people my age before I started here what I did was train my body and mind and focused on martial arts for the last seven yours I looked like you wanting to escape reality but my grandpa helped me and I wanna help you I'll give you confidence and the power to protect yourself all I want in return is for you to show my your side like this book and what I assume must be a tv show and any other where the characters are powerful and have lots of fights. And that's what happend for the next two years besides the occasional hook up with girls I trained matsuya and he gave me a hobby anime, manga online novels even fanfictions. My favorite were the ones with a system especially the smartass one. ahh I think I've been staring out in space for quite some time. let's see if Kami is still trolling the internet.
