31 Food Wars

A few weeks have passed since then as the second semester started, the whole group is inside of the cafeteria right now going on their usual rituals as such Zack and Nora fighting for their beliefs, Ren and Weiss zoning themselves out as they try to eat normally, and Pyrrha, Blake, and Yang were communicating with their eyes to each other.

*Thud!*

They were suddenly interrupted by a heavy thump of the table.

They all looked on Ruby, who seemed to be the one that made the noise, by using a thick binder of sorts.

"Friends! Besties! Sister! And Brother! A nap a few hours ago I had a dream!" Ruby slowly said to everyone.

Everyone looked on curiously at her except for two bickering food junkies.

"A dream that one day all of us would come together as one unit and have the most fun anyone has ever had ever!" Ruby exclaimed as she spread out her arms.

"Is that my binder?" Weiss suddenly asked.

"I'am not a crook" Ruby defended quickly.

"My point is kicking the semester with a bang!" Ruby continued as they all didn't notice the two bickering food junkies have started throwing their food at each other.

"It has been two weeks since the arrival of different teams from other kingdoms and the Vytal festival at the end of the year. Our second semester is going to be great but classes are going to start tomorrow. That is why I have planned out these series of wonderful events for all of us today!" Ruby exclaimed.

"I don't know about that but I guess I can understand spending this time together is much better than individually going by oursel-" Weiss couldn't continue what she was saying as a cake came flying at her face.

*gasp!* Everyone looked at the two individuals who have finally realized what have they done.

"..."

Outside by the cafeteria.

Sun was talking about his experience on what happened on docks a few weeks ago to his friend and teammate Neptune, a guy with tan skin, blue eyes, and messy light-blue hair in the form of an undercut.

"And then this Zack's shadow extended and from it, greenish-blue Grims came and scared the White fang in surrendering! It was so awesome, wish I could have that kind of semblance," Sun enthusiastically explained.

"Woah, he sounds badass, I can't wait to meet the guy," Neptune commented but their conversation was interrupted by the sound of screams and running.

"KKyyyyaaaa!! Run away!!"

"W-wait! Cardin is still in there!!"

"Forget about him, he will be missed, now Run!"

"Move your asses, everyone! Team chaos is at it again!!"

Sun and Neptune stood by the side as they saw students running away from the cafeteria.

They were noticed by a passing student as he hastily approached them.

"You guys are new right!? You have to get out of here! Those two teams are at it again!" The student warned them first then he didn't wait for the reply and ran away but before the guy could get away, he was hit by a flying knocked-out Cardin coming out from a hole he blasted through.

Sun and Neptune both got nervous at this sight as they slowly peeked at the hole Cardin came from. They now know why they were called team chaos earlier.

No one was inside besides the eight people that were standing against each other. They were divided by two against six.

Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Pyrrha, and Ren were standing at one side looking at the two with a serious expression on their faces like they were facing the main boss of a game while Zack and Nora were laughing maniacally at the same time.

The two were standing in a bunch of stacks up tables and chairs that made it look like it was some sort of fort.

"Hahaha! You mongrels! Thou dare to challenge us 'i this broil(You dare to challenge us in this battle?)" Zack evilly laughed at them.

"Commoners, thou still run from this if not, we shall begin with the breaking of the legs!!" Nora maniacally exclaimed with Zack at her side.

"Thou fiends! We will never surrender! Justice shall be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be... DELICIOUS!!" Ruby yelled out as the rest of the group rallied behind her while she was holding a milk carton.

"Yeah!!"

"Hah! General Pancake! Flatten them all!" Zack said arrogantly while ordering Nora

"Sir yes sir!" Nora saluted then both of them shouted at the same time "All Hail Chocolate Pancakes!!"

At that remark, the battle began.

Zack and Nora got down from their fort, they landed by the tables full of watermelon as they both easily flipped it making the watermelons raining on them.

"Oh no, incoming!" Ruby said they all dodge in ease as they still remember their training with him.

They all grew satisfied at that but it didn't last long as Nora and Zack suddenly dropped at the center of their formation with Zack holding two pieces of long french bread while Nora had a metal pole stuck on a watermelon.

Before they could react Zack threw his two pieces of bread in the air as he suddenly took hold of Nora's pole while the said girl was grinning at them.

Zack then rotated Nora like a top(*cough*Beyblade*cough*) as they both hit all of them at once. After that, Zack stopped spinning Nora as he casually caught both of his pieces of bread while Nora spun a few more times then stopped while facing them.

Out of every one of them, the one who improved the most, while they were training, was Nora. She could now barely defeat Pyrrha and she is always the longest one to go down against Zack.

All of them eventually got up and looked at both of them while they were laughing at them with an annoying smirk on their faces. This got the rest's eyes to twitch a little in annoyance as all of them took hold of some food they can use as weapons.

"Oh, still up for a fight? very well! Let's continue!" Zack laughed then grinned at them while Nora was similarly mimicking him as they both got ready then they charged.

Yang came first with her chicken knuckles to Nora while Ren rushed to Zack while holding onto a pair of leaks in his hands. Pyrrha, with one french bread in her hand, and Blake, with a long bundle of sausages, followed Ren.

Zack parried fast pace strikes with Ren for a moment then Ren jumped back suddenly as Pyrrha's bread was flying aimed at Zack.

Zack quickly parried away the flying bread with a casual swing but then a bundle of sausages took hold of one of his legs. He was surprised by that as Blake pulled at him while Ren and Pyrrha charged at him at both sides.

Zack chuckled at their great teamwork.

Zack readied both pieces of his bread then threw at Pyrrha and Ren at the same time while spinning wildly like a boomerang. They both got caught off guard at that while Blake was still pulling when Zack suddenly faced the ground while his hands were on the ground and in one fluid motion he pushed off the ground then did a few fast flips while bringing Blake with him flying. He then took hold of the bundle of sausage then spun Blake around a few times then sent her flying at Pyrrha at Ren.

"Kyaaa!" Blake screamed as she hit both Pyrrha and Ren.

*crash* *thud*

"Ugh…" Blake grunted out as she was still dizzy.

At Nora.

Nora was only dodging Yang's punches when Nora suddenly went closer to Yang when she threw her punch. Yang was caught off guard as Nora suddenly adjusted her hand on her make-shift hammer, bringing her hand near the watermelon then she punched out her hammer on Yang's stomach making her fly.

Yang, while still flying didn't give up just yet as she punched out her chicken knuckles towards Nora.

Nora quickly adjusted back to her usual hold on her hammer, then made her hammer rotate to parry Yang's flying chicken knuckles. Her rotating hammer negated Yang's attack and made her chicken knuckles fly aimlessly in the air.

Nora then took a batting stance as she aimed the falling chicken knuckles towards Yang.

"Batter up!" Nora yelled out as she hit one of Yang chicken knuckles towards Yang as she steadied herself.

*bam!*

"Ugh…" Yang groaned out as Nora's attack hit her on the head.

"Oh no! Yang, Blake! Don't leave us, Noooo!!" Ruby exclaimed dramatically as she went over them.

Zack and Nora stood side by side as they low-five each other while looking at them with condescension.

Ruby and Weiss narrowed their eyes at the skills of their opponents.

Pyrrha and Ren also got up as well and readied their food-weapons.

Weiss took bottles of ketchup and mustard then sprayed it towards them.

Zack and Nora jumped sideways to dodge but then Pyrrha and Ren were on Zack's side while Ruby was on Nora's.

Pyrrha attacked from the front while Ren swung his leaks at Zack's back. Zack grinned at them then jumped in the air to avoid their attacks. Ren and Pyrrha didn't let up as they followed him in the air. Zack parried all of their attacks with one bread on each hand. It was so intense that Pyrrha and Ren were deadlocked at Zack's front and back but then he suddenly spun like a tornado as he sliced both of Pyrrha and Ren's food weapons and made them fly towards Yang and Blake as they were about to get up.

*crash* *thud!*

"Ugh... " Ren, Pyrrha, Yang, and Blake groaned out while they piled up together.

Weiss seeing this, went forward to Zack with a swordfish(A/N: what kind of cafeteria have THESE?) at hand. She quickly thrusts her swordfish like a rapier and attacks Zack.

Zack easily dodges everything, he then places both of his pieces of bread together as he swung with two hands towards a surprised Weiss.

*Bam!* *Swoosh*

Weiss was sent flying towards the rest's piled up bodies.

*Bam!!* *Thud*

Ruby, who was fighting Nora, saw this and immediately backed off as she took a running stance.

Zack and Nora again stood side by side but then Zack felt a familiar aura coming towards their way.

Zack quickly signaled Nora that she will be coming, fortunately, she noticed this as she nodded then both of them got ready.

Ruby then started to run then she used her Petal Burst and spun like a drill towards them while following her was all the food she came across. She successfully hit both of them but still continued until she was on the other side of the cafeteria.

*Bam!* *Swoosh* *Swoosh*

She then jumped away quickly to avoid all the food that followed her.

Everyone then looked on for a moment of silence at the two figures that are covered in food, when they didn't hear any laughing, everyone quickly went by Ruby's side as they holstered her up in celebration. While they were happy about their victory, they didn't notice that the two figures Ruby hit suddenly became into shadows and went towards to the front.

"Yeah, we did it!!" Ruby exclaimed with her arms in the air.

"Way to go baby sister! You finally ended the evil reign of those two!" Yang laughed out loud.

Everyone was laughing in celebration as they finally defeated those two even though all of them are covered in food. They smugly looked in their direction but they suddenly couldn't find them.

That quickly stopped their celebration as they looked around trying to find them. They finally heard someone eating and drinking normally at a table near the entrance.

They saw Zack and Nora still in clean uniforms while they relaxingly enjoying their meal.

They were curious about the behavior of those two, they were about to ask what they were doing when suddenly the entrance door blasted open with an angry Glynda looking at them.

They finally figured out what those two were doing as they saw Glynda pass them, the two suddenly looked back towards them with another annoying gloating face.
