38 Evil Incarnate

The next morning.

Everyone got ready to go on a mission issued by Ozpin concerning the White Fang but as team ZPNR was preparing they heard a lot of noise in team RWBY's room.

*Bang* *Bang*

"Zack, come out here! Dad, mailed us something!" Ruby's voice came through as she knocked loudly at the door.

All of them got curious as Zack opened the door and saw team RWBY with Weiss, Yang, and Ruby with the same expression of giddiness while Blake was away from them with a wary expression on her face. Ruby was holding a cute black and white dog.

Everyone immediately swooned at the cute dog except for Zack as he narrowed his eyes at the dog.

"Zwei… we meet again my old nemesis!" Zack exclaimed as he pointed dramatically at the cute dog who similarly narrowed its eyes at him.

They let Zwei down and backed away as Zack and Zwei stood and stared menacingly at each other. Everyone was confused at this as they looked at Ruby and Yang for answers but both of them were looking at Zack like he was a moron.

At Zack and Zwei's own world.

"Hahaha, your reign of terror ends here, pup!" Zack said as his eyes were glowing.

"Dread it, run for it, destiny arrives all the same, or should I say, I have! (Woof, Woof, woof, woof woof, woof!)" Zwei said/barked at Zack while looking at him with condescension.

"We will see!" Zack replied as he charged at Zwei but Zwei was ready as it instantly stood behind Ruby and the girls while looking at them with a cute puppy expression.

"AAAAAWWWWWWW!!!" All of them swooned immediately except for Blake as she stood by Zack's side as they both watched them.

Zwei suddenly brought its nose out as it started sniffing in the room, Zack seeing this immediately went on high alert as he sprinted over his cabinet and used his body to secure his precious.

Zwei wiggled free as it barked at the girls to get their attention then led them at Zack, who was now sweating profusely as he faced them all.

"Zack, can you move aside, Zwei wants something on that cabinet you see," Ruby requested as they all saw Zwei trying to open the closet.

"...No," Zack replied emotionless.

"Please!" Ruby persisted as she went in front of him with her usual puppy-eyed expression.

"Ugh!.... N-no! Never!" Zack stubbornly said as he shook his head furiously.

'Tsk, looks like I have to use the big guns then' Ruby thought as she instantly faced him again with her puppy-eyed expression but this time her eyes were watery and her lips are quivering like she was about to cry while Zwei looked towards the other girls with its kicked puppy expression like it was asking for their help.

"Ugh!...."

"AAAAAWWWWWWWW!!"

Eventually, Zwei was able to force Zack to move reluctantly with Ruby proudly pumping her chest.

As soon as they opened the cabinet, Zwei went in and stayed there for a few seconds then came out with chocolate wrappings in its mouth, which is covered in chocolate.

"Wait, isn't chocolate considered poison to dogs?" Weiss instantly asked concerningly.

"Usually but not Zwei, that is just one of its unique traits, and likes to eat chocolates better than any food, and not once did it get ill," Yang replied.

"Nooooo!!!!!" Zack, who saw Zwei instantly kneeled in tears much to the confusion of the rest.

*Sigh* "It all started when Zwei accidentally took a bite of Zack's chocolate and liked it ever since. Zwei liked it so much that it started eating all of Zack's stash back at Patch and of course Zack noticed this, as he tried everything he could think of hiding his chocolates but Zwei always prevailed and managed to find his precious. From then on, Zack proclaimed that Zwei is the evil incarnate that should be exorcised immediately," Yang answered their curiosity as they looked at the wailing Zack.

To add insult to injury, Zwei went in front of him and barked with condescension at him.

"You couldn't live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me. I... am... inevitable/woof, woof woof, woof… woof... woof" Zwei barked then approached the girls again as they swooned over at it again.

Blake went beside Zack as she placed one of her hands on his shoulder which got his attention and nodded at him. He instantly quickly hugged Blake with her hands rubbing his back.

After half an hour.

The rest of the group decided to leave Zwei in their dorm as the teams got ready and Blake managed to console Zack back to normal, they headed for the Bullhead assigned for them.

"Alright team, as soon as we land, we will clear any Grimms that we encounter, and search for any signs of machinery, understood?" Zack ordered as asked all in confirmation.

"Sir, Yes sir!" Nora saluted at Zack.

"Aye aye!!" Ruby exclaimed while carrying on her back was an unusually big backpack.

"Machinery?" Ren asked curiously.

"Yeah, I remember they all have been stealing dust left and right, I'm pretty sure they will need the proper equipment in transporting all of that, find that trail and we'll find them" Zack explained to all.

The rest nodded as the pilot voice rang through the intercom saying that they were there.

Zack placed all his swords on his back as he stood by the door and faced them as they all equipped their weapons.

"Listen up team, our objectives today, stop the White Fang of their plans, capture Torchwick if possible, and recover the Dusts that have been stolen. The first sign of trouble, alert the team with your signal beacons alright, and above all else, be careful and watch everyone's back. We all came here together and we all will come back together, understood?" Zack said as the rest nodded seriously at him.

"Good, now, let's do this!" Zack yelled out as he opened the door and fell on his back towards the outside of the aircraft.

They all smiled a little at their leader's antics as they all jumped down as well.

Eventually, they all arrived at Mt. Glenn's ruins, a remembrance of how vicious a Grimm horde can do to an unprotected kingdom.

Despite the gloomy atmosphere, they all focused on their objectives as Zack summoned his 8 manticores for support.

"Everyone, hop on one, group into two, we'll cover the area quicker if we go by air. You see something noteworthy, call it in immediately," Zack said as he mounted one manticore then looked at their surroundings and he noticed there were quite a few Grimms here but he is confident they could take it.

The rest nodded as they hopped on one of each and grouped into twos.

"We will all meet up back here for lunch alright," Zack said one last time as they all nodded and flew in twos. As he watched everyone fly, he couldn't help notice a certain Raven following Yang again. This particular Raven is always there ever since Zack started bringing team RWBY with them in missions.

He chuckled at that as he already had an idea who that Raven was and flew off with Pyrrha at his side.

After a few more hours.

All of them regrouped as they talked about their findings but Zack couldn't help notice Ruby's backpack is moving. He suddenly thought of something foreboding.

"R-ruby, please tell me you didn't bring that evil incarnate?" Zack hesitantly asked in which got everyone's attention.

"E-hehe, C'mon Zack, Zwei is not an evil incarnate," Ruby answered while rubbing the back of her head as Zwei's head popped out from the bag and barked at everyone.

"Perfectly balanced, as all this should be,/Woof woof, woof woof" Zwei barked at Zack and Blake's direction as it stayed at Ruby's backpack.

Zack and Blake's eyes twitched at that as they both took a step back.

After everyone dissuades Zack and Blake from roasting a certain pup for lunch, the rest tell all of their findings. They all found tracks but all of them just disappeared mid-way while they cleared out any Grimms in the vicinity.

The rest brainstormed for a while when Zack saw that Zwei was digging on some soil but at that, he suddenly thought of something.

"I got it," Zack's voice drew their attention.

"Well?" Weiss asked impatiently.

"Their underground, Ted, smash!" Zack answered as he ordered Ted who came out excitedly, went in front of them and brought out its arms in the air as it yelled.

/TED, SMASH!!/ Ted roared as it brought down both of its arms towards the ground.

It instantly caused a quake as the place Ted hit, created a large crater as it slowly crumbled down bit by bit and showed train tracks below them.

"Now, I see, but how you'd you figure it out?" Weiss curiously asked.

Zack didn't answer her as he expressionlessly pointed towards Zwei still digging on the soil.

"OH!! It was Zwei! Who's the good boy! Who's the good boy!" Weiss instantly swooned at Zwei.

"Alright let's go team," Zack said as they all jumped down and saw a long train tunnel towards the direction of Vale. He instantly noticed this as he ordered Ted once more.

"Ted, go in that direction and destroy the railway on your path," Zack said as he pointed towards the railway going to Vale.

/AT ONCE MY LIEGE/ Ted replied respectfully as it began its march of destruction.

Zack summoned Fang, Kong, and the manticores as he ordered them to go back to the surface and clear the area of Grimms.

They all bowed down as Zack and his group started running towards the other end of the train tracks.

They ran for half an hour until they finally saw the train with White Fang members putting crates inside it. They also saw Roman as he was yelling at them, they all looked like they were rushing about something.

"C'MON, MOVE IT!! WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME, HUNTSMEN AND HUNTRESSES MIGHT ALREADY BE ON THEIR WAY HERE! DAMMIT!" Roman yelled out loud.

Zack and the others nodded at each other as they heard Roman.

"Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Nora, and I will distract them all here while Blake, Ren, and Pyrrha, you guys will infiltrate inside the train and make sure that train doesn't move from here," Zack ordered them as all of them readied their weapons.

"Let's go," Zack said as he ran up to the high-ground that looked like an armory with his group following him.

"Nora, ring the bell would you," Zack grinned as he took out his core blade and hollow blade separately.

"Heh, you betcha Captain!" Nora replied as she took out her Magnhild in gun form, aimed, and fired at numerous weapons in stock.

*BOOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOOM!*

The series of explosions alerted everyone including Roman who was busy yelling.

"NOW, WHAT!?" Roman shouted and looked towards the cloud of smoke covering their armory.

As the smoke lightens, they all saw 4 four girls and one guy in the front looking at them.

Roman instantly recognized these girls and especially Zack as he still could remember Fang and Ted's intimidating stares.

"Hey guys, whatcha doing?" Zack asked in an innocent tone as he smiled at them.

"Mind if I ask when will that train depart? We're late for something you see," Zack asked again.

White Fang members were all surprised that they forgot to react until they heard Roman's familiar yell.

"Red! What a pleasant surprise! Don't you have school or something and for Oum's sake, WHAT ARE YOU ALL WAITING FOR! GET THEM!! AND START-UP TRAIN!" Roman's voice rang out as he quickly went inside the train.

The White Fang members finally took out their weapons as they all started attacking all around them with bullets.

"Everyone, get behind me and wait for my signal," Zack said as he combined his core blade and hollow blade and started spinning it in front of him to deflect all of the shots.

The rest nodded and went behind him as he started to deflect every shot that came towards them.

*Tink* *Tink* *Tink* *Tink* *Tink* *Tink* *Tink*

"Now!" Zack yelled out as soon as most of them stopped firing with Nora and Ruby instantly firing back.

Weiss quickly brought down her Myrtenaster which created ice spikes coming towards the White Fang as Zack and Yang run side by side, creating havoc everywhere they pass by.

While most of them were fighting, the train started to move much to Roman's happiness but it was short-lived as the next moment.

*BOOOOMMM!!*

The train stopped but this time there was an explosion at the front of the train.

"WHAT NOW!? seriously, I have to avoid Red and her group after this... since Cinder and her little band are already captured... Neo, let's get out of here" Roman said with a stressed tone in his voice as Neo appeared by his side and nodded with a smile as they made their escape off of Vale.

This explosion drew everyone's attention as the remaining White Fang members looked on in shock as their plan just exploded in smoke, literally.

As the fire spread towards the Dust containers, the compartment connecting the containers and the blazing train engine started to unbuckle and deform by itself then finally the Dust containers were moved to the side away from the fire.

After that, they started to notice three individuals taking out White Fang members that are near the train.

Blake, Ren, and Pyrrha managed to cut through their formation and regrouped with the rest as the fighting momentarily paused as Zack and his group faced all of the remaining White Fang members.

"Will there be any chance that you all will surrender quietly?" Zack asked curiously.

The White Fang answered with an enraged yell and charged as they all abandoned any formation or tactics in a blind rage. They worked months on their plan and these teens just wasted all of their hard work.

*Sigh* "Guess we need crowd control first, Weiss, Ren, you know what you gotta do, we'll cover you guys," Zack said as he ran with the rest following him.

Weiss and Ren nodded as Wiess made the ice spikes towards them again as Ren used his semblance, Tranquility, (masks negative emotions and forcibly calms everyone affected by it) in full power towards the enraged White Fang members wildly charging.

The affected White Fang members who were affected by Ren immediately stopped and looked around then they finally noticed something scary that made them tremble and pale. Eventually more White Fang members saw this as they looked on and immediately dropped their weapons in fright.

Zack and the rest noticed this as they stopped and regrouped again.

"I forgot to introduced you all to my minions, these guys are in my control so don't worry but I suggest you all drop your weapons on the ground and come peacefully, any more resistance, and these guys might not hold back themselves anymore," Zack said as the rest took a breather as they were all a bit exhausted after fighting many of them.

At that remark, Fang gave them a savagely grin with Kong and the manticores by its side, and Ted who came out from the other side of the tunnel as it walked past the fire leisurely and growled at them.

The White Fang members' morale instantly took a nosedive as they paled at these Grimms. They all thought that even if these Grimms were very few, something inside them like a natural-born instinct tells them that these aren't ordinary and if they fight them, their deaths will be inevitable, especially the buff Ursa and the slim Beowolf.

*Clang* *Clang* *Clang* *Clang* *Clang* *Clang*

Most of them immediately dropped their weapons and brought their arms in surrender. But there were still stubborn fellows that shakingly held their weapons in defiance.

"B-BROTHERS AND S-SISTERS! W-WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING! THEIR JUST KIDS AND SOME SMALL OF NUMBER OF GRIMMS! WE CAN-*choke*" The White Fang member who tried to rally their morale was cut off as he began to choke.

The rest of the stubborn White Fang members saw this as they grew paler. They all didn't notice Fang moved at all as it suddenly appeared behind the one who was speaking and picked him up by his throat while still having that sickly grin(like a certain Subarashii meme) on its face while looking at them.

"Last chance, drop them now," Zack said he brought out his aura intimidatingly.

All of them eventually dropped their weapons as they surrendered but they all noticed by then that Roman escaped them again.

The team high-fived each other with Nora and Zack still going through their secret handshake while Pyrrha called it in at Ozpin as the rest guarded everyone with their cute mascot standing in front of them proudly.

*Woof!!*

"AAAAAWWWWWWWWwwwwwww!"

As the police arrived and took all of the White Fang, Zack and his group made it back to Beacon safely.

As night descended, Zack was walking through the Beacon's garden while all his teammates and friends were already asleep due to exhaustion earlier.

He stopped by the fountain as he brought his arms to his waists and sighed.

*Sigh* "You know Aunty, stress is really bad for your health and before you know it, you are already a single, lonely, and bitter hag, am I right Raven, or should I call you mother-in-law now?" Zack said teasingly as he suddenly appeared 10 meters away as something suddenly attacked his previous spot and created a cloud of dust.

As the cloud thinned, Zack could now see a woman who has a similar face to Yang with black hair staring menacingly at him.

Zack smiled at her innocently as he uttered some of the forbidden words you could say to a woman.

"Is it that time of the month again? And is it just me or are you getting a little chubbier last time I've seen you, you should really take care of your health, besides you're not young anymore," Zack said with no hint of hesitation in his voice as he sagely nodded at the woman.
