77 The True Blight

"How does it feel? You've woken after so many years, yet you haven't begun destroying anything yet."

Deep black hair covered the man's face, his voice echoing as he spoke to a woman floating over the ground. She merely huffed as her feet met the ground, within a smoking crater.

"My Lady, you barely started. Why must we come here?"

The man lifted his head, his eyes catching movement heading their way. A dark scowl crossed his face as bright white hair bounced in their direction.

"Xander?! Do you know what's... who?"

Mina was brought to a halt as her eyes fixed on the woman. She was tall, deeply tanned and her body was practically mesmerizing.

"So she is the one? I can feel it..."

Mina's eyes went wide as she felt something deep in her chest turn cold. She turned to Xander.

"What did you do?! What happened to Kat!?"

Xander stood tall, proud, and smug. A dark smile crossed his face as he looked down at Mina, his body stepping closers to Kat. He reached towards her, nearly touching her.

"Back off, Xander. You may have woken me, but I am still not interested in a maggot like you."

Xander could only huff as he stepped away, his usual calm demeanor thrown away as he stared daggers at Mina.

"Filthy bitch. She isn't yours anymore! Welcome her, for she is the true Dyna! Finally awoken from her slumber! That bast are, Vex, thought he was smart. That he was special. He only ran away from our home world, hoping to become a true God of this world! It took time, but I finally followed him. I prepared everything when I realized who Dyna was. She is-"

His words were cut short as Kat spun and rammed her fist into his gut.

"You speak too much."

He crumpled to the ground, barely a whisper escaping him as his breaching became erratic. Kat turned back, he'd eyes only on Mina.

"Kat... she saw something in you, girl. Something I didn't think I would see as well, but here we are."

Mina felt cold. The Kat before her wasn't the one she knew, yet she couldn't help but feel the insane desire to be close to her.

'H-hey! Get yourself together! There is no way-'

'Hysteria... don't try to confuse us. You can feel it too. That... it's really Kat.'

Hysteria could only go silent as Mina took a step towards Kat.

"K-Kat? What hap-"

Kat was gone in a flash, appearing before Mina in the next instant.

'She's insanely fast! Is this how she was when she first got here?'

Mina could hear Hysteria, but her eyes were locked on Kat's. She could feel herself being drawn in, though a strange stinging on her chest caused her to look down. Buried within her skin, Kat's finger was slowly going deeper.

"Ack... dammit!"

Mina forced her Sword Body into her hand, Kat's hand falling inside of her body. Her hand stayed inside, slowly moving around.

"This feels strange, but I'm unbelievably turned on by you. Your girlfriend was obsessed so long, I kinda want you for myself."

"Who are you?"

Mina felt her missing heart freeze up. The fear of losing Kat again was beginning to set in, even with her standing within arms reach.

"My name was long forgotten. Let's say, I'm from the world Vex was from, although I left before he did. My personality, sealed deep in my mind. You get the picture."

She had an innocent, yet condescending smile on her face.

"You mean..."

"Kat isn't real."

Mina's fingers slackened, her blade falling to the ground. Tears began to form, though Kat reached up and wiped them away. Suddenly feeling her touch, Mina felt a tiny spark of hope, although Kat had a strangely despondent look upon her face.

"So weak. How could she have loved you? Tell you what, be mine. I'll make sure you get strong, fast. Maybe you'll get an evolutionary upgrade! Heh."

She extended her hand, Mina quickly reaching out. She stopped herself, her tears finally streaming down.

"I'm so confused!"

Kat kept her hand aloft, though her face was beyond annoyed.

'Mina. Look behind you. Now.'

Mina turned slowly, her eyes falling upon her friends and lovers. They were all immobile, completely still.

"W-what? Why are they-"

"Time magic. Course, I have most types of magic. Really helps when you're the God of Creation and Destruction."

Mina turned back, her eyes falling on Kat once more.

"Can you tell me why you left your world? If you're... evil or good?"

Kat tilted her head.

"Ehh... I'm neither. And I left because I was freed from my world. Heh. That guy carried me around for a while. Pretty crazy how strong he got too."

There was a soft smile on her lips.

"Now Mina, take my hand. We may have an eternity, but I'm a little impatient after being trapped for so long."

'Mina! Don't listen to her! If Kat isn't there anymore, she wiped her out! Something like that makes more sense. Not this bimbo suddenly being the true existence of a God long loved in this world! She wants to use you, not cherish you!'

Mina could barely stop herself from shaking as she spoke.

"I know."
