Prologue

In the eras millions of years ago, when the generation of Immortal Emperors wasn't started, it was chaos and bloodshed everywhere. Dark creatures to the worlds, enslaved, killed, massacred all the species living here. These dark creatures were too powerful and the people couldn't fight them. They were powerless against them, but they still resisted.

All of that changed with the first Immortal Emperor, Emperor Zhang. He fought with these dark creatures and was successful in liberating the species, but he died soon after. The war which Emperor Zhang fought with the dark creatures was brutal, blood and corpses were everywhere. Corpses accumulated like mountains, and blood ran like rivers. Everyone who fought in that war had to pay a terrible price. But that price was worth it.

A lot of dark creatures were slaughtered, they felt fear for the first time. The dark creatures were forced to run. No one knows where these dark creatures came from and where they run off to? But one thing was certain, they will come again, and people of these worlds will have to be ready for their assault. After the war, peace and prosperity returned to the land. And that's how the Immortal emperor generation started.

Since then, every successive generation, One or two Immortal emperors would come out. According to documents, Emperor zhang had no family, but it wasn't true, Emperor Zhang had a daughter Yuki. She was beautiful and had a lot of potential. Yuki was 16 when the war of liberation commenced, she wanted to fight alongside his father, but Emperor Zhang refused and sealed her. Why did Emperor Zhang do something like that? Part of the reason, he had promised his wife he wouldn't allow her to fight in the upcoming war, but the more important reason was it was necessary. Yuki was sealed and given to his friend and trusted subordinate Sword god Jian. When Emperor Zhang died, Sword God Jian made a sect and kept Yuki in their sect's sword shrine. As for when Yuki wake from sleep no one knows.

Million years have passed since then. The land has gone through a lot of changes in the past million years. There are a lot of clans and sects now. The boundaries on the land had been drawn and redrawn multiple times.

In a vast expanse, there exists a forest that spans over a million miles. The trees in that forest stand tall and mighty, shrouded by a layer of mist, giving it a mysterious feel. This land is called the Misty mountains. It is the place where the sword god sect is located. As the sect was established right after the war, it holds a lot of influence and power in the current scenario. But it's power has been eroding bit by bit due to other powerful sects plotting and meddling against their affairs.

One night, a powerful roaring sound was heard and spiritual energy goes turbulent, powerful lightning runs in the sky and various changes start happening in the Sword God's sect's ancestral shrine.
