25 Punishment

As the group began to disperse, Jozuna's concern for Alexis remained palpable.

"Do you still feel sick, Alexis?" he asked gently, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Alexis nodded slightly, her discomfort evident. "A little," she admitted, her voice soft.

"Let me carry you and take you home," Jozuna offered, his tone warm and reassuring.

A faint blush tinted Alexis's cheeks with embarrassment at the gesture, but she nodded gratefully in acceptance.

Syrus couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at the sight. "I'm a little jealous," he admitted with a sheepish grin.

Meanwhile, Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley bid their farewells, heading home to Slifer Red as Jozuna took Alexis under his care.

As they walked, Alexis turned to Jozuna with a hint of vulnerability in her voice. "Jozuna, can you help me to become stronger? My brother is stronger than me, but he also lost in the Shadow Games," she confided, her voice tinged with determination.

Jozuna nodded solemnly, his gaze filled with understanding. "Okay. Just come anytime," he assured her, his voice steady and reassuring.

"Thank you," Alexis replied, her gratitude evident in her tone as she looked up at him with newfound hope. With Jozuna by her side, she felt a flicker of optimism that together, they could overcome any obstacle that stood in their way.

In abandoned dorm, Dr. Crowler's footsteps echoed through the empty halls of the dormitory as he arrived to inspect the aftermath of the duel. His expression was a mix of curiosity and irritation, eager to assess the outcome of the duel but wary of any unexpected surprises.

However, as he entered the room where the duel had taken place, his keen eyes fell upon an unexpected sight: Titan's mask, lying abandoned on the floor. A frown creased Crowler's brow as he picked up the mask, his annoyance evident.

"Where is that fool?" he muttered to himself, his frustration simmering beneath the surface. "He better not have failed me."

But try as he might, Dr. Crowler found no sign of Titan or any indication of what had transpired during the duel. With a resigned sigh, he pocketed the mask and made a mental note to investigate further.

As he turned to leave, a sense of unease lingered in the air, a reminder of the mysteries and dangers that lurked within the shadows of the Academy. And though Dr. Crowler was determined to uncover the truth, he couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of a much larger and more sinister plot.

As the morning sun cast its golden rays over the Slifer Red dormitory, a sense of unease lingered in the air. The tranquility was shattered by the arrival of a group of black-clad troopers, their presence ominous and foreboding. Professor Banner's expression darkened as he recognized them as the school's "Disciplinary Action Squad," a sight that only meant trouble.

Led by their Chairman, the troopers marched with purpose, their footsteps echoing through the halls as they approached Jozuna and Jaden Yuki. With solemn faces, they escorted the two students to Chancellor Sheppard's office, where the weight of their impending fate hung heavy in the air.

Chancellor Sheppard's words hung heavy in the air, "you make a grave mistake for visiting the Abandoned Dorm. I will authorizes a Tag Team Duel for both of you: Jaden and Jozuna. You will duel two opponents that Prof. Crowler himself will choose. If you win, you get off scot-free. If you lose, you are expelled from academy."

Jaden's voice broke the tense silence. "Chancellor, we understand the severity of our actions," he said, his tone earnest. "We'll do whatever it takes to make things right."

Jozuna nodded in agreement, his expression resolute. "We accept the challenge, Chancellor," he affirmed, his voice steady despite the apprehension gnawing at him. "We won't let you down."

Sheppard regarded them with a mixture of sternness and concern. "Remember, gentlemen, the stakes are high," he warned, his gaze unwavering. "This is your chance to redeem yourselves. Don't squander it."

Jaden and Jozuna nodded in unison, their determination unwavering. "We won't, Chancellor," Jaden promised, his voice echoing with determination. "We'll give it everything we've got."

As the atmosphere in Chancellor Sheppard's office grew increasingly tense, Jozuna 's friends stepped forward with a plea on his behalf. Syrus Truesdale, Chumley Huffington and Alexis Rhodes, both witnesses to the events at the Abandoned Dorm, voiced their concerns.

Alexis begged the Chancellor. Her eyes reflecting her determination. "Chancellor Sheppard, please listen. We were there too, but why did we get different treatment from them?" she urged, her voice unwavering.

Chancellor Sheppard listened to their pleas, his expression grave as he considered their words. He understood their concern for their friend, but the decision had already been made, and he could not alter the course of the duel now. Moreover, Alexis, Chumley and Syrus had rich families.

"I appreciate your concern for them, but the rules of the duel have been set," Chancellor Sheppard replied, his tone firm yet empathetic. "Jozuna will have to face this challenge alongside Jaden."

Jozuna felt a surge of gratitude for his friends' support, but he also felt a sense of determination building within him. "Thank you, Chumley, Alexis, Jozuna but I and Jaden can do this," he said, his voice steady despite his nerves. "I won't let you down, and I won't let myself down. We'll face this together, and we'll come out on top."

With a solemn nod from Chancellor Sheppard, the group prepared to face the daunting trial ahead, their bonds of friendship and determination stronger than ever as they braced themselves for the Tag Team Duel that would determine their fate.

Alexis nodded in agreement, her eyes pleading with Sheppard. "I was there too. Let me duel instead. I know I can handle it," she urged, her confidence unwavering.

But Sheppard's hands were tied; the rules of the duel had been set, and he could not change the makeup of the teams at this late hour.

"I understand your concerns, but the decision has been made," Sheppard replied, his voice firm. "Jaden and Jozuna will represent themselves in the Tag Team Duel."

Despite their protests, Syrus, Chumley and Alexis realized that their fate rested in the hands of Jaden and Jozuna. As the weight of the impending duel settled upon them, they could only hope that their friends would emerge victorious and secure their freedom from the looming threat of expulsion.
