"Hey," I said as I walked towards two members of the main cast… Is Bastian part of the main cast? "What did you think of my duel?"

"You were amazing," shortie said with a smile, "I can't believe you beat him in one turn, and with that Dragon of his no less, you even called your final turn"

"Indeed, your strategy was quite successful, although your use of Heavy Storm has me baffled, couldn't you have used the Morbius' effect to destroy his set card instead?" Bastian asks with a raised eyebrow

"I could, but then there is a chance the trap card he had turning out to be Trap Hole or something similar which destroys my monster while he is destroying the trap," I explained my reasoning.

"I see," he commented as we returned to watching Jaden's duel,

Just like in canon Jaden was facing against Crowler's Ancient Gear Golem (3000/3000), and he fused his Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) and Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) to fusion summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100/1200). He activates his Skyscraper, changing the arena to suit his Heroes. His Flame Wingman gains 1000 attack points when attacking a more powerful monster, getting strong enough to destroy Crowler's Golem. And then finishes him off with the burn damage from his effect.

"Not bad," I commented. But not for his dueling skills, no way. It was the plot armor he had. Call it the Heart of Cards if you want, but a guy would need some serious plot armor to pull off that move at the last second with his shit ass, inconsistent deck.

Nothing against the Elemental Heroes, they are quite fun to play, but without Elemental Hero Absolute Zero and Elemental Hero Stratos they are shit tier at best, (AN: Not including Masked Heroes, Vision Heroes, Evil Heroes, Neo-Spacians, or Destiny Heroes, just as a pure Elemental Hero Deck)

"Ha Ha Did you guys see that?" Jaden said as he walked towards us,

"Yes. Congrats… at least YOU made it" I said with a sad look on my face,

His happy attitude was gone now "Wait! Don't tell me you lo-" I cut him off

"Yes… Unfortunately… I won in one turn and had to wait for you to finish," I said while making the victory sign.

"Ha Ha good one, you got me for a second," Jaden said with a broad smile

"The 2004 Duel Academy Entrance Exam has now concluded. For those of you that lost your matches, we wish you luck next year, and for those who won, be at the Domino Airport within two hours, in there we shall fly out to the island. Please remember to gather all your belongings," An announcement cut Jaden's laugh off,

"Well guys I should get going, I suppose we'll see each other at the academy," I said as I put on my bag, and walk away,

"Hm, see you," Syrus said with a smile, and Jaden and Bastion nods their head,

-- A Few Hours Later, Duel Academy Island --

"I'm sorry, was there a mistake?!" I asked the woman who just handed me my Duel Academy approved PDA, and Red School Uniform, I had OTK the proctor.

"Is your name Konami Kujo?" she asks

"Yes, but-" I try to explain but she doesn't let me

"Then there is no mistake," she said as she showed me my name written on the packaged student uniform she was handing to me, "I have other students to attend to," she said as she made a gesture for me to leave,

'FUUUCK ME SIDEWAYS!' I thought to myself. I have nothing against Slifer Reds, but they have the shittiest dorm…

-- Twenty Minutes Later, Red Dorms --

"This isn't a dorm, it's like an out house with a deck," Syrus said what I was thinking,

"You kidding me, check out the view, this place is great," Jaden said with a large grin that made me want to beat the happy out of him.

"Well it certainly is something… unique," was the only good thing I could say about the place, "Hey Jaden, Syrus," I said with a smile, letting them know I was here,

"Oh Konami, you are in the Red Dorm as well, that's cool," Kuriboh headed boy said with a smile,

"Indeed, I am in room 204, what about you guys?" I ask them, despite having a general idea

"We are both in room 202," Cyan haired boy answered,

"Cool, see you guys later," I said as I went towards my room. I opened the door, the corner rooms were supposed to be smaller apparently, but it was larger than I expected, and the bunk bed only had enough space for 2 people. So less roommates than Jaden, which is nice.

"Alright Tree, you here?" I ask and he appears, "Hey bud, I need a favor from you,"

"Ribbit Ribbit," he said, which I assumed meant: What is it?

"Nothing too big, just don't make yourself apparent in front of Jaden, a rich kid named Chazz, or a boy who looks like Koala, alright, at least for now" I told him

"Ribbit Ribbit!" Alright he said as he slowly faded away.

I was emptying my suitcase when a man opened the door. The man in question was slightly taller than me, and had short, dirty blond hair.

"Hey I'm Drake Johnson, your new roommate," he said as he walked in.

"Konami Kujo. Nice to meet you." I said as I held up my hand and he shook it. "I took the top bunk, hope you're okay with it?"

"It's cool, I wanted the bottom bunk anyway." He said as he tossed his bag on the bottom bunk.

At this moment Treeborn Frog made himself known, and peed on Drake, I barely keep my poker face on,

"Do you feel a sudden chill?" he asks,

"... Nope"

-- Two Hours Later, Slifer Red Welcome Dinner --

Slifer welcome dinner was quite eventless, the food was good, but a bit lacking in variety, Jaden also met Chazz apparently, which is nice.

Banner seems nice enough… That is if he wasn't a secret Shadow Rider.

-- Nearly An Hour Later, Around the Lake --

I had started working out at 16 and this current body of mine could not handle the same amount of workout my 20 year old body could. So, I adjusted my routine.

After stretching for 5 minutes in front of the Slifer Red building I went to run around the Duel Academy Lake. After running 5 times around the lake, which is roughly 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) each, I would stretch once more before doing 3 sets of 12 to 20 Push-Ups, Pull-Ups, Chin-Ups, Sit-Ups, Reverse Sit-Ups, Bicycle Sit-Ups, and Squads.

"One, Two, Three, Four, …" While working out the most important thing is not to give up, and stop training. The second most important thing is the form. I use a 2-1-2 format. Meaning I start the move and go up in 2 seconds, before holding for 1 second in that position, and then slowly go down in 2 seconds. "... Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve," I started to shake a bit. It was the third set of Chin-Ups so I finished with the upper body workout.

I gave a short water break before moving to core training.

While I was drinking water I heard footsteps coming walking towards me. The footsteps belonged to three Obelisk Blue Girls, the two of them were quite good looking, but the last one was an elegant beauty with purple hair, tied in an angel wing, scarlet red eyes that stares at you intently, and body that any grown woman would kill to have.

"Well, hello there," I said as I tried to put on as charming a smile as I could.

"Hn, did you just talk to me?" The purplette asks as if I had committed a grave sin of some kind.

"Um… Yeah," I said with a raised eyebrow, my smile had faltered from her demeanor.

"Don't you know who she is?!" one of the brunette's shrieked, I barely stopped myself from closing my ears.

'Don't say hot chick with purple hair, Don't say hot chick with purple hair, Don't say hot chick with purple hair,' I thought to myself as I said "... No"

"She is Wisteria Senrigan, as in the Senrigan Group!" the other, blonde, shrieked and the pupellette throw her hair backward, expecting me to know about it,

">_< Never heard of it," I said with a straight face, I actually haven't heard of it, I think she was a character in Tag Force games, but I wasn't sure.

"Are you serious?! Senrigan Group is one of the largest corporations in the country!"

">_< Never heard of it" I said once more with a straight face

"Seriously? They produce Senrigan Phones?!" the other brunette said

">_< Is that the one who makes knock off Nokia's" I ask out of my ass, I have no clue

"They own the Senrigan Airlines?!" the other cronie exclaims

">_< Is that the one with Blue-Eyes White Dragon Jets? Because if not, I really don't care,"

"They make the Super O's?!"

":) Oh, the cereals? Your family makes those? That's pretty cool," I said with a smile on my face,

"You- You- How dare you?!" one of her friends shrieked but the purplette put her arm up,

"It is fine, you cannot expect every low born to know about their betters, although this one should have realized his place the moment he has been in my presence," she said as she flicked her hair.

"Yes, Wisteria!" they chorused at the same

"Wow… You guys are actually real life lackeys… I have never seen a rich girl walk with her lackeys before, I mean except for obnoxious TV Shows for teens, tweens, and everything in between," I said with a large smile on my face, it was a change of pace to see

"You…" Wisteria muttered before angrily turning around "Hmph! I will not waste anymore time with one in your standing," she said as she started walking away

"Talk about a case of a giant stick up the ass, although she does have a nice ass" I muttered as I laid on my towel and got into a sit-up position.

"Alright one, two, three, …"

I came back and looked at some of Drake's cards that were laying on the desk. They were mostly Dragon Monsters. "You use Dragons?" I ask him with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, dragons are the best," He asked with a smile on his face "Do you wanna see my Seiyaryu? It's my best card," he said, sounding too proud with a Normal Monster as his ace. I suppose it at least has 2500 Attack Points, and with some dragon support, it can be pretty good in this era.

"Maybe later, I am kinda tired, I'll probably take a shower and go to bed," I then went to the bathroom, put a little bit of lotion on my hand and thought about that purple haired girl from tonight, and after a few minutes Alexis, and then both of them.
