CH 8: Trash talk

(Third person POV)

The little dragon shivered before nodding excitedly and devilishly :"that's right, boss, that's right!

You've always enjoyed stomping all over your opponents. Heck, I can't count how many times you've emptied your deck to the last card to deliver a crushing blow in the end!"

Ali chuckled as he nodded :"yeah, and that's why I always go all out against my opponents. It's just a matter of me being in a serious mood to win or to just toy around with them."

Ali then walked over to his king sized, enormous bed as he sat down in the middle and took out his Red Eyes deck.

As he laid every single card that was definitely the complete deck of the Red Eyes deck with every Red Eyes card in it, he chuckled as he held up a card.

It was card with a purple cover in the front, indicating that it was a fusion card. In the image, stood a man in black armor with red, glowing orbs on it.

The armor was also quite unique. It had a tail and wings while a dragon head on top. The dragon head looked exactly like Red Eyes Black Dragon at that. It also had a spear like weapon in its hand.

Ali bit his bottom lip in excitement as he chuckled evilly :"ohh~ boy, just the thought of mental damage this "Red Eyes Black Dragoon" is gonna do gives me goosebumps."

Red Eyes Black Dragoon: Dark/ Lv(⭐)8/ Spellcaster/ Fusion/ Effect/ 3'000 ATK/ 2'500 DEF.

Fusion material: "Dark Magician" + "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" or 1 Dragon Effect Monster.

Effect(s): Cannot be destroyed by card effects. Neither player can target this card with card effects. During your Main Phase: You can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's original ATK. You can use this effect a number of times per turn up to the number of Normal Monsters used as Fusion Material for this card. Once per turn, when a card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, and if you do that, this card gains 1000 ATK.

Ali had asked the omniverse to give him the full Red Eyes deck, but now that all these babies were in front of him, he just couldn't contain his excitement :"hahahaha! It's gonna be a blast using these babies against those trashes!"

He really liked the Red Eyes deck, because unlike most decks like it, it wasn't focused on just one thing.

You could use various combos and strategies in the Red Eyes deck, because it wasn't focused.

Even though the Red Eyes deck wasn't one of those meta decks that took it to the extreme, it was one that let you really enjoy the game.

It couldn't be underestimated at all with the cards in it. For example, the Blue Eyes deck mostly focuses on getting the Blue Eyes White Dragon on the field and starting from there.

It wasn't hard at all with the cards in the deck, but the cards in the Red Eyes deck, were all ass kicking badass cards!

You could use the fusion monsters like the Red Eyes Black Dragoon that were just broken, the special summoning from deck and graveyard, or the massive life point damage effects!

Seriously, just think of Inferno Fire Blast. Target 1 face-up "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" you control; inflict damage to your opponent equal to its original ATK. "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" cannot attack the turn you activate this card.

Even though the Red Eyes Black Dragon can't attack, it doesn't need to. Just use 2 Inferno Fire Blast and you've won the duel!

And with three copies of each card in his deck and the heart of the cards on his side, he could dead ass win the duel even if a super strong monster was against him.

Ali got to sorting his deck out as he put different number of copies of each card in his deck. After all, he wasn't about to put all three copies of over 30 cards.

Even though there wasn't any limit to the maximum number of the cards in your deck, it was still better to keep it around the minimum so you can get your cards easier.

With the help of Red Eyes Black Chick, Ali got to reviewing the strategies of the Red Eyes deck. And soon, the time for him and Zane to go came.

The alarm that he had put 20 minutes before midnight rang from his cellphone, getting his attention from the cards on his bed.

Ali smirked at Red Eyes who adorably smirked back :"ready to go and win our first match together, pal?"

Red Eyes gave a roar that was supposed to be mighty, but just ended up looking adorable in Ali's eyes :"hell yeah, boss! Let's go and show that little bitch who we are!"

After sorting his deck out and putting the cards in his deck holder while putting the extra cards in another part of the deck holder, he got out and locked the door before he snuck to Zane's door and knocked gently.

After a few moments, the door opened as Zane showed up and walked out :"alright, ready? Then let's go."

Ali smirked as the two made their way to the academy. When they reached the schoolyard, the two Slifers also showed up.

Jaden waved at them with an excited smile :"hey, Al, Zane! Glad you could show up. Let's go and get this show started then!"

But unlike him, the other Slifer looked timid in the presence of his older brother :"hey, Al, big bro..."

Ali sighed as he noticed from the corner of his eye how Zane almost twitched at the reaction :"hey, J, Sy. What's up? Let's go. That cunt will probably bullshit that you've chickened out of something if you don't show up."

They had already gotten a little used to Ali's curses, but they were still a little speechless at how he acted like a thug.

Especially Zane, this being his first time seeing Ali curse like it's nothing :"quite a mouth you have there, Ali."

Ali smirked at him as he shrugged :"what can I do about it? It's in my genes as a Turk. Back where I was from, you would be considered a pussy if you didn't know how to just shit on everyone. Anyway, enough about me, let's get this show started."

They all nodded as they all made their way into the academy and towards the duel arena where Chazz and his lackeys were waiting.

When they all walked in, the attention of the three Obelisks was on them as Chazz smirked :"well, well, well, he actually showed up.

And not just that, he has brought quite a few helpers. Hey, Truesdale, Ashborne. What are you two doing here.

I get why Ashborne is here, but why are you here, Zane? Is it to look out for your friend that you've made today?"

But before any of them could answer, Ali smirked as he looked at him tauntingly :"nah, he's here to watch me mop the floor with your scrawny ass, Princeton. Prepare to duel, because I'm dying to use my real deck!"

Other than Zane, everybody else had surprised looks on their faces as Jaden asked with shock :"what?! Ali, but this is my duel!

Come on, man! I invited you to watch and enjoy the duel, not steal it from me! I was damn excited for this duel!"

Ali gave an apologetic smile as he circled his arm around his neck and winked :"come on, bro. I really want to use my main deck.

I had that sudden craving for a good duel today, you know? And it's damn annoying to not satisfy that shitty craving.

Do your bro a favor and lend me this duel, please? I promise to make it up to you. Say, how about... Inviting you to eat at the Obelisk Blue cafeteria?

I heard that the food in the Slifer Red dorm is nearly shit. Believe me, bro, the cafeteria of the Obelisk Blue ain't no cafeteria, it's more like a fucking five star hotel!"

Jaden still had a reluctant look on his face while Ali asked him nicely, but when he brought food up and how he praised the place, his mouth watered as he gulped.

Finally, he sighed in defeat as he smiled at the taller boy :"fine, you can have this one. But I'm telling ya, you better stick to your words!"

Ali laughed, causing the Kuriboh headed boy to laugh out loud as well :"sure, bro, sure. I'm sure as fuck that you'll beg me to invite you again after you taste the delish food. Alright, Princeton, wanna get your game on or what?"

Chazz frowned as he folded his arms in front of his chest :"I was planning on coming after you too, Ashborne.

But tonight, I want to take care of Jaden here and show him his place up in this academy where the real professionals are at."

Ali smirked tauntingly as he spread his arms :"aww~, don't tell me that you're scared, Princeton.

You were talking so much shit, but now that you're facing this Majesty, you're gonna chicken out?

Tsk, hahahaha, Chazz? More like cheese! You melted down the moment the real heat showed up, huh, little bitch! Hahahaha!"

Jaden didn't know how to feel about his sentence. Did he mean that Jaden wasn't a heat himself?

But his trash talk was really funny, and his thoughts were too confusing, so he just decided to laugh at the funny words along with a giggling Syrus.

Even Zane snorted in amusement as a look of rage took over Chazz's face :"my name is Chazz! Fine, I was planning on saving you for later, but I will just show your place here and now!"

Ali snorted with a smirk on his face as he turned towards Zane while walking backwards towards the stage and spread his arms :"what did I tell you? Too fucking easy, man."

Zane sighed at the foolishness of the other party and how easily he fell into Ali's trap. Sometimes, he really wondered what was the difference between the Obelisk Blues and Slifer Reds.

If it was a matter of foolishness, the Obelisk Blues were even worse because of their arrogance also being high as fuck.

As Ali stood a few meters away from the glaring Chazz, he smirked tauntingly :"ready to go, cheese? Be careful so you won't melt."

Chazz growled as he glared even harder :"I said, my name isn't cheese! It's Chazz, Chazz Princeton, you bastard!"

Ali snorted in amusement at how easy it was to fuck with this guy as he equiped his duel disk and it came to life with a beep :"yeah, yeah, whatever, punk.

So? Ready to lose and hand over your best card? I'm telling your bitch ass, I ain't gonna hold back and be gentle just because it's first time~."

Zane snorted with a small smirked at Ali's antics as Chazz growled and equip his duel disk as well :"hmph, let's see you joke around after I'm done clearing you up."

Ali snorted with a roll of his eyes as he sighed in disappointment :"is THAT what you call trash talk, pussy?

Granny next door and her six year kid could do better than that poor excuse of trash talking. Whatever, let's begin now. You can even go first."

Ali wondered if Chazz's glaring face was just on default setting at this point as he drew six cards :"alright, punk, I'll show you your place!

For my first move, I'll summon Reborn Zombie in defense mode. And I'll also place one card face down."

Reborn Zombie: Dark/ Lv(⭐)4/ Zombie/ Effect/ 1'000 ATK/ 1'600 DEf.

Effect(s): While you have no cards in your hand and this card is in Attack Position, it cannot be destroyed by battle.

'oh yeah, they could summon monsters in face up defense position here.' Ali thought before shrugging with a nonchalant smirk :"alright, cool... Not. You gonna end your turn now, or what?"
