40 CH 40: Ruthless Ali P1
Cheers erupted immediately at Alexis's victory as the announcer announced her victory :"the winner is Obelisk Blue Alexis Rhodes! Congratulations for your victory!"
"It was a good duel." Alexis said politely before she turned around and walked back to where Ali was standing along with Jaden and Syrus.
Another thing that Ali had taught her, is to say GG or something respectful after winning or even losing a game.
Because the true winner is the person who had fun. Cause you may lose the fight, but you win the war that way.
However, he had also taught her that if someone was too annoying and disrespectful, just traumatize their ass instead.
And since her actions had already traumatized the poor girl, she didn't see any reason as to why she should verbally traumatize her as well.
"Whoa, Alexis! That was a seriously sweet duel!" Jaden nearly shouted in excitement as Alexis walked back :"you were just bam! I summon a monster!
Then boom! I summon another monster! The pishum! I summon this one as well! Then poof! This one is here too! That was a really sweet duel!"
Alexis nodded with a small smile before she glanced at Ali :"Well, I have Ali to thank for teaching me so well."
Ali chuckled as he nodded :"I won't deny that, but it was mostly thanks to yourself. If you were weak willed and gave up, I wouldn't teach you.
However, you were a good student and always listened, so you earned the skills with your hard work. That was a very awesome duel, I'm proud of you."
Ali nodded with a smile and a small blush before she frowned :"thanks, but I'm a little annoyed that I couldn't do better.
If I had managed to draw United We Stand, I would be able to make my Cyber Blader a lot stronger compared to equipping it with Fusion Weapon."
Ali couldn't help but chuckle helplessly and shake his head in amusement as Jaden and Syrus looked at her in amazement.
Jaden blinked as he held up his hands and tried to calculate :"if I remember right, United We Stand gives 800 ATK and DEF points for each monster you control. That means... 2,900 ATK points... 3,700 ATK points..."
"4,000 ATK and DEF points. Meaning that Cyber Blader's ATK points would become 6,100 and her DEf points would reach 4,800." Ali answered nonchalantly.
Syrus's eyes went wide in shock as he gaped :"6,100 ATK points?! Just what kind of ATK points are those?! That would be a nightmare to go against..."
Alexis nodded calmly :"it's one of the combos that Ali taught me. I was hoping to draw United We Stand, but Fusion Weapon is still good."
Syrus rubbed his head with a fearful look as he whispered in disbelief :"just what kind of a monster did Ali make??? Who can even put up a fight against her at this point???"
Alexis eyebrows twitched as she glared gently at Syrus :"hey, what do you mean by monster? I'm thankful for complimenting my skills, but calling someone a monster is rude."
Syrus chuckled nervously as he nodded with an apologetic look :"s-sorry, it just kinda escaped my mouth..."
As Ali chuckled and Jaden laughed at his friends nervousness, the announcer's voice came again :"Obelisk Blue Ali Ashborne and Obelisk Blue **** ****, please walk to your designated testing field.
I repeat once again, Obelisk Blue Ali Ashborne and Obelisk Blue **** ****, please walk to your designated testing field."
When Ali's name was heard, the entire testing area went silent as some people turned to the other person who was named with pitiful expressions.
The said person had a fearful face along with one of disbelief as he looked down, looking helpless as fuck.
You couldn't blame him, Ali had made a name for himself in the short time that he was in the academy.
He would duel with an incredible number of duelists every single day, but none of the said duels would even reach the 5th turn!
Another shocking <not really> thing, was that he had never lost a single duel! Ali would duel exactly 25 people every single day for the past 12 days, that's 300 duels! He hasn't even been in the academy for a whole month!
And he hadn't lost a single one, that would make any 3rd rate duelist in this academy shiver in their boots!
He also had a nickname, graveyard abuser... People in this era really don't know how to use the graveyard, so Ali would abuse the hell out of it!
Said Ali chuckled when he heard his name and looked at his friends :"alright then, I'm going. Wish the other guy luck."
Jaden chuckled while Syrus sweated nervously :"yeah, we seriously have to wish that poor guy luck, because I don't think Ali is planning to go easy on him."
Alexis nodded while paying full attention to Ali :"yeah, he did say that he's planning to bring out a very sick combo in this duel.
He said that he's planning to use the card that Jaden had given him. He didn't tell me. And he did just pay a huge sum of DP to buy some cards a little while ago..."
Syrus sighed helplessly :"sigh, let me guess. With how you said it, he spent a ridiculous amount of money that doesn't match common sense at all..."
Alexis nodded with curled lips as she sighed through her nose :"yeah, he spent 200,000 DP just now in the store..."
The eyes of both Jaden and Syrus went so wide that Alexis was worried for a second that they might pop out :"how muuuch?!"
Syrus seemed to literally have an existential crisis as he rubbed his head :"how is that even possible?!
I only have a few thousands at most, yet he spent 200,000 DP in a single day?! I knew he dueled a lot, but to the point where he has made that much DP?!"
Jaden had an amazed look as he whoaed :"seriously, Ali is just a different breed. Managing to get that much DP, as expected of him!"
Alexis nodded as she looked at Ali standing on his side of the field with a nonchalant but mean smile on his face :"yeah, he has seriously dueled a lot, so it's kind of expected. But it's still really surprising. Even Dorothy was surprised."
On the field, Ali was nonchalantly looking at his shivering opponent who was murmuring to himself :"why?! Why did it have to be him of all people?! There's no way I'm passing this exam now!"
Nobody could hear him, but Ali wasn't just anybody. In this half a month, he had already finished bonding with Red Eyes Black Chick a long time ago and had already bonded with a few other duel spirits.
But they were still low leveled ones. However, Ali didn't have a few low level duel spirits. You just have to love synchro decks, there are a shit ton of low level monsters!
He had already bonded with so many low level Black Wing monsters, Dragunity monsters, Superheavy Samurai monsters and other low level monsters that he was now ready to bond with level 4 monsters!
And today, after these tests were completed, he was planning on bonding with his first level 4 monster.
But it wasn't just any monster though. It was the level 4 Silent Magician that had the effect of gaining ATK points!
He was so fucking excited when Red Eyes and Silent Magician told him that his soul is powerful enough to bond with her!
So he was planning on bonding with her today, and pounding her tonight! And he could barely wait!
Oh, wait... He had movie night planned with Zane, so he would have to smash late at night. But he still wasn't discouraged.
Thinking about it, Ali couldn't help but let out an evil and dark chuckle that sent chills down his opponent's back :"well, let this show start!"
Ali/****:"duel!"
As they both drew their cards, Ali smirked at him :"like it or not, I'll be going first! I draw! First, I use the spell card, Extra Foolish Burial to send one monster from my extra deck to my graveyard!

I then activate the spell card, Double Summon, allowing me to normal summon 2 monsters instead of one!

And the two monsters that I will be summoning are Kidmodo Dragon and Guardian Of Felgrand! Both on attack position!

You might have not seen or heard of Guardian Of Felgrand, so I will explain his effects to you.
By sending him and one other dragon monster that I control to the graveyard, I can special summon a level 7 or higher dragon type monster from my graveyard!
So say goodbye to Kidmodo Dragon and Guardian Of Felgrand before you say hello to the monster that I sent to the graveyard with my Extra Foolish Burial, Five Headed Dragon!!"

The moment when the poor opponent saw that Ali sent a monster to the graveyard, he had already lost hope.
He was relieved when he saw Ali summoning just a few monsters with ATK points that didn't even reach 1,000.
But that relief immediately turned to fear and horror when Ali summoned the monster with the highest ATK points in the game!
The duel had just started, but the winner had already been determined with the monster that Ali had brought into the field!
However, Ali's smile grew even wider as he laughed :"but I'm not done yet, buddy! I still have cards in my hand, that means that I'm still not finished!"
The poor guy could just cry when he heard his words. But Ali didn't care as he got to it :"you see, once Kidmodo Dragon is sent to the graveyard, I can special summon one dragon type monster from my hand!
And I choose my ace monster, Serpent Night Dragon! I then activate the spell card, Pot Of Greed to draw two cards! Heh, I then activate the Continuous spell card, Nightmare Sonic Blast!"
