2 CH 2: Game? More like slaughter

(Third person POV)
After saying that, he just walked away in their surprised eyes. Ali laughed as he folded his arms in front of his chest :"hahaha! I knew that he was a fun guy to be friends with! He is really confident!"
Cyrus beside him nodded with an impressed face :"yeah, he's really sure of himself. I wonder if he's really that good."
Bastion also put a word in :"he's going to need to be. Look who he's doing." And after he got on the stage, it was revealed who he is fighting against.
A guy wearing brown pants, blue, long jacket with a personal duel disk. He also had make up on and earrings :"alright, test time."

The duel went on just like the original, with Dr Crawler summoning his ace monster, Ancient Gear Golem on the first turn that he got, much to everyone's surprise.
But even more to their surprise, not only was Jaden not scared at all, he was even more excited for the duel.
He also played the cute Kuriboh like in the original, a move that Ali liked quite a bit. Even though he doesn't use the Kuriboh monsters, he still finds them cute a little bit.
And after a little bit of struggling, he was finally able to win the dual by fusion summoning Elemental Hero Flame Wingman and activating the field spell, Skyscraper.
After he walked back with a huge smile on his face, he gave Ali a high-five who also had a smile on his face :"damn, man, nice combo! Those were some sweet moves!"
Jaden scratched the back of his head with a smile as he held up a piece sign :"haha, I told you that I will definitely win! It should be your turn next."
As if waiting for him to say it, the announcer's voice came once again :"Ali Ashborne, please report to exam field four."
Ali chuckled as he slapped his back :"damn, bro, you a fortune teller or something? Welp, I'll be going now. Wish Dr Crawler there good luck, cause I ain't planning on being gentle with him."
In the surprised eyes of them, Ali started walking down the stairs with a mean smile on his handsome face :'this won't be a game, it will be a slaughter, hahahaha!'
Cyrus gulped as he looked at him with an amazed face :"wow, he is really confident. Do you guys think that he is actually that strong?"
Bastion :"well, he is the person that scored just like me, so I would assume that he is as good at dueling as he is knowledgeable."
Jaden :"haha, I know that he's good! I can feel it, he isn't just empty talk, that's genuine confidence right there! I wonder what deck he uses."
Cyrus and Bastion looked at him with confusion as the blue head asked :"what? Don't you already know about his deck? Aren't you two close friends?"
Jaden shrugged nonchalantly with a smile :"we became friends just when we were running here and suddenly met up together.
I guess we kinda just hit it off and became friends just like that. So, yeah, we are close, but I don't know him that much yet."
Bastion looked back at the field that Crawler was dusting himself on with a pissed look :"well, I'm curious now too. With so much knowledge, he will surely build a strong deck. I wonder what it's full of."
As a small platform raised Ali to the field and he stood in place, Crawler actually smiled at him :"oh, Mr Ali. It's nice to see such a talented young man, but don't think that I will go easy on you."
'especially after going through that humiliation of getting defeated by the slacker! I will wash away that shame by defeating you.'
Ali laughed as he shook his head :"oh, no need to worry, Dr Crawler, go all out. After all, I would feel bad if I went all out and mopped the floor with ya."
Crawler and everyone present were taken aback at his words and mean grin as a girl with light brown hair in the audience wowed :"he seems to be even more confident than the other one, Zane. Do you think that he is as skilled as he is?"
The boy with dark green, long hair hummed :"who knows, Alexis. After the show that Jaden guy put up, maybe this Ali boy will also be skilled, especially considering the rumors of him scoring the highest along with that Bastion guy."
A vain popped on Crawler's face as he gritted out :"good, good. It seems that you are really confident in your deck. Now let's duel! I'll go first."
As they both drew their five cards <that's what they did in the anime>, Ali whistled as he looked at his hand, the cards that gave an illusionary low roar :"damn, Doc, your luck sure is ass today. First, you lose to Jaden, now, you're gonna get stomped by this majesty."
But his words just caused Crawler to grit his teeth as he drew a card at his turn :'I will not let this brat disrespect me any further! I will be sure to make this a quick duel!'
He picked two cards from his hand and put them on his duel gear :"I will set these cards face down before using Heavy Storm to destroy them both.
Just like before, this card destroy every other spell and trap card on the field. And by destroying my own statue of the wicked trap cards, their tokens will be summoned!"
Ali snorted with a smirk as he breathed in through his nose :"not a bad combo, but not that impressive either.
Let me guess, now that you've gotten those tokens on the field, you will sacrifice them like before to summon your little scrap metal."
Hearing his insults, Crawler chewed on his lip as he clawed his hand in frustration :"that's... Right... I sacrifice both of them to summon my Ancient Gear Golem! Hmph, hope you can take on my "little scrap metal" without getting too scared."
Alexis raised her beautiful eyebrow with an amused face :"wow, this guy is even more mouthy than that Jaden guy, huh?"
Zane nodded without that much of an expression :"yeah, but let's see if he can back it up too. It would be really boring if all of it is just empty talk after all."
Ali laughed out loud in mockery as he ran his fingers through his hair :"hahaha! You've got to be kidding me!
Me? Scared? Of that little scrap metal? Fat chance, bob! I will show you what is actually scary up in here! I summon Des Lacooda in attack position!"

As he yelled, he put the card on his duel gear as a high quality hologram of a zombie camel that seemed pretty real appeared on the field.
But Crawler just snorted when he looked at its attack points :"that? The only thing slightly scary about that is its looks. Otherwise, why would its mere 500 attack points ever scare me?"
But Ali just chuckled :"oh, Doc, didn't you already learn that you should be patient instead of jumping to conclusions?
You see, this little camel of mine has an interesting effect. Once per turn, I can change this face up card to face down defense position."
Crawler and everyone else just looked at him with confusion as he asked :"alright? So what? It's still very week. Even if it's in defense position, it only has 600 defense points."
Alexis on the side line also quirked an eyebrow :"he's right. What is that Des Lacooda going to do against that Legendary Ancient Gear Golem?"
And Ali, just snorted with a smirk :"Des Lacooda won't be doing anything, it's what it's effect will lead to!
You see, once a face up monster I control is flipped face down and I control no face up monster, this monster that is in my hand will have its effect activated!
And it's awesome effect is, I can special summon it in face up defense position! Come on, Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist!

As the titan that was the same size as the Ancient Gear Golem appeared on the field, everyone gasped at the sudden appearance of the behemoth.
"3-3'000?!" Crawler shouted in shock at the behemoth as Alexis also stopped leaning on the railing :"wow! Look at that monster! So he actually isn't just talk!"
Zane beside her also grew serious as he nodded :"yeah, it seems that this guy is the real deal. That is one great move he just pulled."
Ali laughed as he raised his head and looked down at Crawler :"so? You found anything scary now? No? Then what about this?! I activate the same effect of Subterror Behemoth Umastryx by flipping Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist that can be flipped down once per turn!"

As he finished his sentence with a demonic smile, another titan appeared beside the huge behemoth, roaring at the Ancient Gear Golem.
"H-Hold on! Time out!" Crawler shouted with a scared and awkward expression, but Ali just grinned :"hell no! There ain't no way I'm waiting!
Specially not when I'm activating another effect after flipping Subterror Behemoth Umastryx to face down to summon Subterror Behemoth Ultramafus!"

Everyone's mouth was wide open at this point as Cyrus gulped :"w-wow... He's seriously awesome... Able to summon so many monsters in a single turn..."
Jaden beside him laughed as he nodded :"yeah, guess he is a really good rival to have with his cards!"
Ali snorted before he set down a card in the spell and trap zone :"well, I flip Subterror Behemoth Ultramafus to face down as well after putting this card face down. And I end my turn. So? Whatcha gonna do now, Doc?"
Crawler gritted his teeth as he pointed :"even if you have such a strong monsters on the field, none of their defenses are enough to stand against my Ancient Gear Golem!
Ancient Gear Golem, attack the face down Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist and destroy it! Mechanized Melee!"
But Ali just smirked at the approaching punch of the mechanic titan :"bad move, Doc. I activate my trap card, Subterror Final Battle!

This trap card has multiple effects, but one of them is to change one Subterror monster to face up attack or defense position.
And that's what I will do with Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist, turning it to face up attack position!"
Crawler slapped his forehead with a scared look :"what?! That means that both of them will be destroyed because of equal attack points!"
But Ali just laughed out aloud :"HAHAHA! Sorry to break it to ya, but the only monster getting destroyed here is your Ancient Gear Golem!
Because of Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist's flip effect, once it's turned face up, I can choose one monster on the field and turn its attack point to 0!
And can you guess which monster I will do that cruel thing to? That's correct, your Ancient Gear Golem!"
Every word that left his mouth shocked everyone present, from teachers to students as Crawler shouted in shock :"w-what?! T-that means my Ancient Gear Golem is-"
"That means your Ancient Gear Golem is gonna turn into ancient scrap! Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist, send that Ancient Gear Golem to scrap field where it actually belongs!"
As the weakened punch of the Ancient Gear Golem came, Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist didn't show mercy as it attacked and destroyed the Ancient Gear Golem without any effort.
As 3'000 life points were reduced from Crawler's life points, he gulped while shaking :"I-I end my turn..."
Ali smiled as he drew a card :"and I will be ending this duel! By the way, a sick effect of Subterror Final Battle is that it won't be sent to the graveyard after having its effect activated, it will be just turned face down. Oh? Look here, another Subterror to summon.
I activate Subterror Behemoth Speleologeist's effect and flip it face down so I can summon, Subterror Behemoth Stalagmo on defense position!
But I will turn that face down as well before flipping Subterror Behemoth Ultramafus face up. I then activate the continuous spell card, Subterror Cave Clash!
When this spell card is face up on the field, all the Subterror monster I control will gain 500 attack and defence point for each set monster on the field!
That means that once I flip Subterror Behemoth Ultramafus face up, it will have a whooping 2'000 attack increase before it slams all 5'000 attack points straight to your puny life points! Attack, Subterror Behemoth Ultramafus! End this duel for this Majesty!"
And it didn't need to be told twice as it did as its Majesty told it to do and finished Crawler off from the duel.
Seeing that the duel has ended, everyone began to cheer for him as he waved at the audience with a happy go lucky smile.
Alexis smiled as she said under her breath :"well, I guess it won't be boring in the academy with him around then."
