17 CH 17: Jasmine and Mindy

(Third person POV)

Ali chuckled before he nodded with a smile :"understandable. After all, I wouldn't want to team up with someone who doesn't know how to duel.

And it's a lot more important for you guys. Since your duel spirits and need a worthy master to bring out your full power.

Alright, I understand. But, I have a question. Just out of curiosity, can you just get up and leave? I mean, you're a spirit and all."

Seeing that the human in front of him wasn't hypocrite, Chaos Emperor Dragon was satisfied as he gave a chuckle :"yes, young Ali.

Even though I am but a spirit, I am still extremely powerful and can carry my card if I wish to do so."

Ali nodded a few times with an impressed look before he looked at the two other dragons :"what about you two? Do you have the same requirements as Chaos Emperor Dragon?"

Serpent Night Dragon nodded majestically :"yes, as I have said, as long as you tell me easy combos that you're going to use to summon me, I will be satisfied."

White Horned Dragon folded his dragonic arm as he looked up with a smirk :"yeah, the same is true for me. As long as you know what you're doing, I'm satisfied."

Ali nodded with a small smirk at the corner of his lips as he reached out and took out the booster packs :"alright then, give me a moment to open these booster packs."

Ali opened all of them before putting all of em together as he drew card by card. And seeing the first to cards, he smirked.

He put the deck down as he held out the first two cards :"you know what these two are? Foolish Burial and Kidmodo Dragon."

Foolish Burial: Normal spell.

Effect(s): Send 1 monster from your Deck to the GY.

Kidmodo Dragon: Dragon/ Effect/ Earth/ Lv 3/ 100 ATK/ 200 DEF.

Effect(s): If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Dragon-Type monsters, nor conduct your Battle Phase, the turn you activate this effect. You can only use this effect of "Kidmodo Dragon" once per turn.

Ali got explaining right away :"once Kidmodo Dragon is sent to the graveyard, I can special summon one dragon type monster from my hand.

But the drawback is that I can't enter the battle phase the turn this effect is activated. But it's nothing much.

And do you know what this card, Foolish Burial does? It sends one card from the deck to the graveyard! So that's one combo right off the bat."

"Kyu!" Kidmodo Dragon squealed happily once it heard Ali's words, causing him to chuckle :"yes, yes. Now, on to the next card."

He had put all the cards face down, so he didn't know what the next card was. But once he drew it, he immediately smirked.

He held up the card with a small, cute, green dragon on its cover so that the big ass dragons could see it :"this cutie is Decoy Dragon."

Decoy Dragon: Dragon/ Effect/ Fire/ Lv 2/ 300 ATK/ 200 DEF.

Effect(s): If this card is targeted for an attack: Target 1 Level 7 or higher Dragon monster in your GY; Special Summon it, and if you do, change the attack target to it and perform damage calculation.

And once again, he got to explaining :"With this card, it's even easier to summon Serpent Night Dragon.

The Decoy Dragon has a very broken effect. Once it's targeted for an attack, I can choose one level 7 or higher dragon from my graveyard and special summon it.

And not just that, the target of the attack will also become that card! I can send Serpent Night Dragon to the graveyard with Foolish Burial, and then summon Decoy Dragon.

You cannot believe how stupid most of the people here are, so they will definitely attack without a second thought.

And so, that's where this baby can be used. But unfortunately, this combo can't be used for White Horned Dragon since he's a level 6 monster.

But the cool thing is that, there isn't a limit on how many times Decoy Dragon's effect can be used!"

"Kyu..." It seems like Decoy Dragon was a rather shy one, so he was a little flustered at getting told how amazing he is.

Specially since most dumbasses would throw it away just because of its low ATK and DEF points.

Even though Ali was... A little insane, he was really kind and sweet to his cards. So he smiled fondly at card as he chuckled :"hey, Decoy Dragon, Kidmodo Dragon, you both come out as well. You can watch as well."

The two were really polite, they actually were waiting for Ali's permission. So once they got it, they both got out.

But unlike those giants in front of the board, these two were small. But bigger than Red Eyes. There were about the same size as Ali's forearm.

Even though the Kidmodo Dragon was wagging its cute tail happily, the shy Decoy Dragon was hiding behind it.

Ali chuckled before he looked up to see the three dragons looking at him with an impressed look.

But Serpent Night Dragon suddenly broke into a fit of laughter :"interesting! Most interesting, human!

I have to admit, in many years, you are the first I have seen to be able to put so many combos with just the cards that you picked up.

And specially with the cards that are considered as worthless because of their ATK and DEF points.

Sigh, it's disappointing, but most humans nowadays will throw away both of those cards the moment they see their ATK and DEF points.

They won't even bother to take a look at their effects. Alright, human. I have decided, I will join you and accept you as my master!

But I still am curious to see what other strategies you will come up with the rest of the cards from those packs."

Ali gave a sigh of relief before nodding :"alright, happy to hear that. Now, onto the next card.

Ancient Rules, it allows me to special summon a level 5 or higher normal monster from my hand."

Ancient Rules: Normal spell.

Effect(s): Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher Normal Monster from your hand.

And so, Ali began to explain the tactics that could be used with the cards that he kept drawing and drawing.

After a while, he put all of the cards aside. At least the ones that he wasn't planning on using at the moment.

While showing the cards, he was also making a deck with them. And after putting his deck aside, he put his hands on the desk and interlocked his fingers :"so? Are you satisfied?"

There was between the three small dragons and two small ones before a thunderous laughter broke out from White Horned Dragon :"good, good!

Human, I was planning on accepting you along with Serpent Night Dragon, but I am really satisfied with all of the strategies that you came up with! Count the great me in your deck!"

Now that he had the approval of two of the dragons, Ali sighed in relief before he looked at Chaos Emperor Dragon.

He snorted with a smirk on his giant mouth :"I have to admit, young Ali, I am impressed. Even in the old days, it was really rare for someone to be this good.

In fact, I was always planning on joining your deck. I just wanted to see what you will do in front of my challenge."

Ali cocked an eyebrow with a look of confusion :"huh? Why? We met each other just today, why would you plan on joining me?"

Serpent Night Dragon answered with a nonchalant, silky voice :"master, the moment we sensed the duel spirits that were with you, we were ready to join.

You seem to have ignored a fact, the spirits that are with you are all rather powerful, with a lot of them being stronger than me.

Getting the approval and recognition of weak spirits is easy since they will bond with you if you ask. But that's not the same for strong spirits.

After all, the monster cards that have strong duel spirits in them want a master that can wield their strength.

So once we felt the sheer number of duel spirits with you, we knew that you should be worthy to have the recognition of so many of them. And so, we just wanted to see it for ourselves."

An speechless smile formed on Ali's face as he chuckled :(you knew about this, didn't you, Red Eyes?)

And Red Eyes chuckled back :(yup! I just wanted you to enjoy the little challenge given by these guys!)

Ali smiled at the dragons as he nodded :"well, I'm happy to know that I've passed the exam. Let's get along, you all."

The dragons nodded back before they all lowered their heads and said in unison :"we swear our alliance to you, master. We will do our best to help you in your path, no matter what."

And after that, a light surrounded each of them as they shrunk and went back to their cards. Ali chuckled as he nodded :"happy to be working with you."

Our protagonist then put the cards into his new deck before he took a look at the clock on the wall :'there's still more than an hour till class. I can get some shut eyes till then.'

He yawned, making everybody yawn as well before he put his head on his forearm and closed his eyes :(Red Eyes, look after me while I sleep.)

(Leave it to me, boss.) Red Eyes chirped before Ali fell sleep after a little while of making himself comfortable.

"Come on, Alexis. Don't you think that we came to class a bit too early?" A red head who was walking beside Alexis asked.

"She isn't wrong, Lexi. We came too early. I'm not even sure that there are other students that have come yet." Another girl, with black hair said with a helpless sigh.

You have to admit, even though they weren't as beautiful as Alexis, their bodies wasn't anything to scoff at.

Our voluptuous blondy shook her head in denial :"since it's the first day, it's better to come early.

And besides, if we come early while the other students haven't come yet, we can pick the seats that we want. So don't be so grumpy, Jasmine, Mindy."

These two girls that were just a little less sexy than Alexis were her best friends, Jasmine and Mindy.

The red headed Jasmine sighed with slumped shoulders :"I get your logic, but still... Sigh, whatever."

<This isn't a harem, guy. So don't get your hopes up. But he may fuck them though>

Once they walked in, Mindy raised her eyebrows :"oh? Someone is actually here already? That's surprising."

"Ali?" But Alexis recognized her friend when she saw his jet black, long hair leading down to his back.

Jasmine and Mindy both looked at her with shock :"Alexis, you know this boy?!" Jasmine asked in shock.

And Alexis nodded :"yeah, I met him yesterday when he was with Zane. He is Zane's neighbor, so they became friends.

And since they apparently had a few things in common, they got really close really quick. He's a good guy, and a powerful duelist."

Jasmine and Mindy shared glances before they smirked :"well, then we should go and sit with your friend, right? Let's go!"

And they both grabbed Alexis by her arms before they pulled her to where Ali was sleeping comfortably at.

Ali was sleeping at the end of the long desk, so they sat beside him with Alexis just next to him :"oh, he's sleeping."

"My goodness! He's so handsome!" Mindy said in hushed shock with her hand over her mouth as Jasmine agreed :"wow, Alexis! You've got a good one!"
