6 The Unexpected Exam.
Tuseday.
Time 16:00 PM.
After class, Kyle was at his room, looking through his new deck and is very happy, ''i never thought i got these new cards that would help my deck, im sure now that with this deck, im more then ready to go up in dorms, even tho i put myself here, but the reason is becase i needed to be sure that im ready, also to meet Jaden and his friends, sure he would of meet them even if he was Ra yellow if i started there however, i wanted to know them first in the begining and what better way to start then at the Red dorms.''
While talking to himself, suddenly the door open with haste, showing Jaden and Syrus with an exhausted, ''Kyle! there you are!'' said Syrus
''What´s wrong?''
''Crowler wants you to come to the duel arena!'' said Jaden!
''What? but why?!''

Rewind 1 hour.
''Chancellor Shepard! we must do something? he has made a mokery of my class!''
Shepard looked at Crowler with an amused face, ''Oh come now Crowler, i know why you are complaining on him, for what i have been seen in my report, he only answered your question, with everything correct.''
''But sir, This Slifer slacker couldn´t possible be able to answer these questions!''
''Oh, and why not? maybe you didn´t read his report card from the arkive but he was supposed to be Ra yellow, didn´t you you see his grades?''
Crowler was about to say something but got somthing stuck in his throat, he couldn´t say that he was to focused on that both Kyle and Jaden has embarrassed him that he never looked at their report, Crowler took the papers that Chancellor Shepard gave him, he was smiling at Jaden´s papper and knew that he was slacking like the slacker he was, however when looking at Kyle´s papper he got shocked, he has the same grades as Bastion Misawa, who always has the highest grade in the academy.
''This doesn´t make any sense!? why is someone like him in the Slifer dorm?'' as he continues reading Kyle´s report, he got confused.
''He asked to be put in the Slifer Dorm? but why!?''
Shepard chrugs, ''Who knows, however we cannot force anyone who wanted to go in the lower dorms, this also is the first of history since this academy has been open that someone willingly wanted to start there, so i didn´t force the matter and let him join the slifers.''
Crowler got to thnking, he knew that this student was peculiar ever since he answered correctly in his class, ''Chancellor, i want to test the boy.''
Shepard looked at Crowler with confusion and got intrested, ''Oh, tell me what you are planning?''

Time 16:30 PM.
As Kyle and the trio went towards the academy duel arena, they saw Crowler with a dueldisk on him.
''Welcome Kyle! lookes like you came in time, becase this will be a dueling exam, you will be dueling me! Doctor Crowler in this exam!''
Everyone in the arena was shocked, they never heard someone getting an exam right after class was over for today, people got intrested and looked toward the duel arena.
''Be careful Kyle, we don´t know what he is planning.'' Said Syrus.
''He be fine Syrus, go kick his butt Kyle.''
''Well, im not sure what is happening, but it´s something i cannot ignore, alright Doctor Crowler, Let´s duel!''
Kyle jumped towards the Duel arena and prepared his deck and put it on his duel disk.
As the duel was about to start, other people who we know saw they were about to duel.
''Look Alexis, Kyle is dueling Crowler!'' said Mindy.
''What did he do now for Crowler to duel him.'' said Jasmine.
''Come on girls, it´s probably something Crowler is scheming, we know that Crowler doesn´t like him after what happend last week.''
Both Mindy and Jasmine looked at each other and then looked at the arena.
Not far from them, Bastion was looking towards the arena aswell, ''Interesting, Kyle is dueling Crowler, tho why i am uncertain.''
Duel!!!
Crowler: [4000] Life Points (LP) [Hand: 5]
Kyle: [4000] Life Points (LP) [Hand: 5]
Crowler´s Turn.
''Very well, let the duel begin, i draw, first im summoning *Ancient Gear Cannon* to the field in defence mode, after that i place 2 ard facedown, i end my turn.''

''My move then. I draw! i summon my *Pyramid Turtle* in attack mode!''

''I attack you *Ancient Gear Cannon*!''
The turtle slowly went towards Crowler´s monster, ''Oh dear, looks like you don´t look at my facedown i have and i will activate one of them, i activate my facedown, *Negate Attack* this stops your attack and end your battle phase.''
''Okay then, i set 2 card facedown and end my turn.''
Crowler: [4000] Life Points (LP) [Hand: 3]
Kyle: [4000] Life Points (LP) [Hand: 3]
Crowler´s Turn.
''Hmph, if that is all you do then you are in for alot of hurt, my turn i draw! first i activate my spell card, *Machine Duplication* this card allows me to choose any Machine monster on my side of the field that has 500 attack or less and let me summon 2 more from my deck to the field!''
Two more appears on his side of the field, ''Oh but im not done, becase i send the both monster i just summoned to the graveyard to summon my *Ancient Gear Golem* to the field in attack mode!''
Suddenly a giant machine soilder appears on the field staring down at Kyle.

''Well played, Crowler summoned a bunch of weak monster so he could summon his legendary *Ancient Gear Golem* this doesn´t look good for Kyle.'' said Bastion.
''I activate my *Ancient Gear Cannon* Special ability, i can send him to the graveyard and you lose 500 life points, also in this battle phase, you are not be able to activate any trap cards!''
The cannon shot a cannon right at Kyle and then disappears from the field.
Kyle: [500 - 4000 = 3500] Life Points (LP)
''Now! *Ancient Gear Golem* attack his *Pyramid Turtle* with Mechanise Melee!''
The *Ancient Gear Golem* strikes at him with a punch, destroying Kyle´s monster.
''With 3000 attack points, your monster who only has 1200 attack points, you lose 1800 life points!''
''Urgh!'' Kyle: [1800 - 3500 = 1700] Life Points (LP)
The crowd was excited, it´s not alot of time Crowler duels in person, they were excited to se the rumored *Ancient Gear Golem*.
''Oh no, Jaden, Kyle is in trouble!'' said Syrus.
''That is not Licious!'' said Chumly (Still don´t know if i spelled it right lol)
''Kyle will be fine, you seen him duel Sy, he is thinking a plan right now!''
Kyle was smiling, to think he face Crowler so soon and that made him excited, ''Im activateing my *Pyramid Turtle* Special Ability, when destroyed in battle i can special summon any Zombie type monster from my deck that has lower then 2000 defence points, and i choose to summon my *Gozuki* in attack mode!''

Everyone in the crowd got suprised, they never saw this monster before, even Crowler is confused.
''Hmph, i don´t know what kind of monster is that, however his attack point´s are still to low to defeat my monster, i end my turn!''
Kyle´s Turn
''My move then, i draw! first i activate my spell card, *Spiritualism* this card lets me target one facedown Spell or trap card on your side of the field and return it into your hand!''
Crowler´s card returned to his hand with he frowns becase the facedown was *Mirror Force*.
''I then activate my *Gozuki´s* special ability, i can send any Zombie monster from my deck to the graveyard, and i send *Skull Servant'' to the graveyard, however im not done, i activate my facedown, *Call Of The Haunted*, this card allows me to special summon any monster from my graveyard to my side of the field in attack mode and i choose my *Skull Servant*!''

''I then activate my other facedown card, *Inferno Reckless Summon* when exactly 1 monster with 1500 attack or below is special summoned to my side of the field, i can summon as many to the field with the same name, however it allows you to do the same.''
The crowd looked at Kyle with Confusion, some call him stupid however for those who saw his duel against the obelisk, they knew what he was planning.
''Im not suprised, as a slifer, i should of understand why people are confused, becase now i can summon as many *Ancient Gear Golem* to the field, and you get to summon 3 weak monsters, what a let down.'' said Crowler.
''I hope he knows what he is doing.'' Said Syrus.
''Syrus, you know what will come next, his ace in his deck, however, how is he going to send them to the graveyard, that´s the better question.''
Everyone was looking at the duel with more excitment, since Crowler talking down on Kyle but saw he never stopped smiling.
''I activate my magic card, *Thunder Crash*! this card let forces me to destroy all my monster on my side of the field to the graveyard, however, you take 300 point of damage for every monster sent to the graveyard, i have 4 so 1200 point of damage goes to your life points!''
All Kyle´s monster was hit with lightning and then was sent toward Crowler.
''Gyahh!'' Crowler: [1200 - 4000 = 2800] Life Points (LP)
''Normaly, i can activate my *Gozuki´s* special ability but i choose not to, i then summon my *King Of The Skull Servant* in attack mode!''

Crowler shrugs and smirked, ''Well looks like this slacker made a mistake even if you summon this monster, he will have the same attack points as my *Ancient Gear Golem* since you have 3 *Skull Servant* in the graveyard, however don´t feel bad, you are facing an elite, so there is no wo-''
Before Crowler could say anymore, Kyle continued with his move, ''I activate my spell card, *Megamorph*! this equip card allows me to equip this to one of my monster, if this card allows me to double my monster attack power, but only if i have less life points then you!.''
''Hmph, you do no it is rude to interupte someone who is- wait a moment, with 3000 attack points, that means!?'' said Crowler with fear!
Kyle smiled, ''That mean 6000 attack points, you lose the duel, becase of my last move using *Thunder Crash* you have less then 3000 lifepoints, and with your *Ancient Gear Golem* that has 3000 attack points vs mine *King Of The Skull Servants* who has 6000 attack points, you will lose 3000 life points!''
''Now Hold on!?''
''Nope, *King Of The Skull Servants* attack Crowlers *Ancient Gear Golem* and finish this duel!''
With double the size of the *Ancient Gear Golem*, *King Of The Skull Servants* used his hand, grabs *Ancient Gear Golem* and crushed it in his hand.
''This cannot be...'' Crowler: [0] Life Points (LP)
Everyone in the crowd was quite, it happend so fast, no one expected this to happend, all expect for one who was clapping.
''Yeah, you did it Kyle'' Jaden clapped and then ran towards the field.
Syrus and Chumly saw Jaden ran towards the arena and also followed.
Suddenly, a loud cheer happend in the arena, ''Way to go Kyle!!!''
''My god, he beat Doctor Crowler!!!''
''I knew he win all along!?''
''Oh, grow up!''
Everyone was cheering Kyle´s name, not a suprise, he just beat Crowler in just a few moves, they had to respect that.
One guy walked towards Kyle and clapped, ''Very well done Kyle.''
''Chancellor Shepard, you saw this entire duel!?'' said Jaden.
''Why yes, it was me and Crowlers idea after all.''
''Your idea sir?'' Said Kyle with confusion.
''Yes, becase young man, with your victory today, you are now assigned to Ra Yellow, congratulations!''
Everyone in the arena cheered loudly! they were wondering why Kyle was dueling Crowler in the first place, now they knew why.
''So what do you say young man, what do you say.''
Kyle was quite, Chancellor Shepard knew that Kyle told him he wanted to be Slifer, Kyle gave a given up look, ''Very well, i will join the Ra Yellow dorm!''
Everyone in the crowd cheered even longer, as they cheered, BAstion walked down and put his hand forward, ''Well then, let me be the first one to say, Welcome to the Ra Yellow Dorm.''
Kyle looked at Bastion and shaked his hand with everyone cheering.
