26 The Black Rose

In front of the dilapidated building where Genesis and Yusei lived, a cab pulled up and Tanner, Yanagi and Blister got out of the cab.

[POV Genesis]

I was helping Yusei fix his Duel Runner while hearing music, when I suddenly saw an old man, and a muscular man enter with Blister.

I recognized the two new people, it was Yanagi and Tanner.

As Yanagi wanted to speak, the music hurt Yanagi's ears.

Yanagi closed her ears and shouted at Yusei, "Turn off that music!"

"What ?! I can't hear you!" Yusei replied.

Tanner with firm ears went to the stereo and turned off the music.

"Yusei it's me." Yanagi jumped in front of Yusei.

"Yusei, it's nice here, but the decor is lacking."

"You guys left the detention center."

Yanagi smiled and replied, "Yes, thanks to you we got out much sooner, thanks to your victory over Armstrong."

"It's thanks to you, Yusei. Blister said.

Tanner then looked at me intently and asked, "And who is this?"

Yusei introduced me: "It's Genesis, a friend who helped me."

Tanner walked over to me and shook my hand with a smile, "Thanks for helping him, you can think of me as a friend now, but, haven't we seen each other already?"

I shook my head.

Tanner then looked at our Duel Runner and said, "These are great Duel Runners, you let me try them, I promise to make them intact without a scratch."

Yanagi glanced at Tanner, saying, "That's it, yeah," and said, "Yeah, that's it, you mean like your last Duel Runner destroyed."

Tanner pulled out his deck and said, "How about solving the problem with a duel."

Yanagi laughs, "Bahahba, I want to see this!"

Yusei and I smiled and I said, "Yusei you start, if he wins he uses your Duel Runner but if he loses he can challenge me."

Yusei shook his head, as they both thought they weren't losing to Tanner.

We went to the back of the building where we found some desert terrain.

Yusei and Tanner got together and I, Blister and Yanagi left.

I looked at Yanagi, who was a very lively grandfather, "So you two, let me introduce myself, I am Yanagi, a famous explorer who has travelled the world collecting the best cards in the world."

Blister replied, "But Tanner told me your Deck is a joke."

"What ?! He dares to say that bastard!"

"Pfft ... Ahahah!" I laughed when I saw this grandfather insult.

"Why are you laughing, look at my cards!"

"Calm down grandpa, I believe you."

I pulled Yanagi's face away from my face and looked at Tanner and Yusei.

Suddenly the sound of a Duel Runner was heard which alerted everyone.

"It's Jack." I thought.

A white Duel Runner entered the field and stopped between Yusei and Tanner.

"Jack!" Yusei exclaimed.

I saw Blister, Yanagi, and Tanner stiffen.

Yanagi looked at us and then said, "Oh Oh, what is Jack Atlas doing here?"

I didn't respond and no one else there did.

Jack looked at us and his eyes landed on mine before heading over to Tanner.

"It's been a long time Atlas, how are you?" Tanner said.

"My career? Very well thank you." then he ignored her.

"Grrr. I saw Tanner clench his fists, but Yusei motioned for him to calm down.

"What are you doing here Jack." Yusei asked Jack.

Jack pulled out a card from his inside pocket, and Yanagi next to me was excited.

"I wonder if this is an ancient relic."

I sighed at Yanagi's personality.

I then watched Yusei and Jack argue when Jack threw the [Stardust Dragon] card that Yusei caught.

Yusei then opened up about Goodwin's kidnapping of his friends, which Jack claimed had no knowledge of.

Jack then climbed his Duel Runner and looked at me.

"Genesis, I haven't forgotten you! I won't forget what happened a year ago! Although I'm now the champion, I won't really be until I get you defeated, you the ex-champion! "

"Come on and try."

"Tch."

Jack left, but I saw Yanagi's eyes sparkle.

"Are you the former champion? Then you must have the [Blue-Eyes White Dragon], show it to me!"

I sighed, and pulled out my three [Blue-Eyes White Dragon] because I know that if I don't show him, he will stay with me for life.

Yanagi grabbed my cards and started screaming, "Wooa, what a masterpiece, these are legendary cards!"

We all watched Yanagi get excited, but Tanner looked at me in surprise, finally recognizing my identity. As for Blister and Yusei, they already knew about Genesis' past.

In the evening we made our way to the Duel field, and a crowd surrounded two guys who were dueling.

Blister approached us and said to Yusei, "I have good news, I have found a freighter that will take me to the satellite tonight."

"A freighter ?! But it only carries trash, and disease?" Yanagi asked.

"Yes, unless we have the right relationship, this freighter can do more than haul trash."

We then started discussing Yusei as being a Signer, and saving the world. Yanagi shouted that Yusei was a sign because he had the [Stardust Dragon].

Me, I remained silent, I did not want to say yet that I am a Signer, or that Akiza was one.

I then heard Leo's voice, Yusei and I saw two children talking together to a man gathering at a Yakuza.

The two children were Leo and Dexter.

"Sir, have you seen the Black Rose?"

"Kid, the Black Rose and a myth, now come home and drink some milk, * shoo * * shoo *."

"Maybe she doesn't exist Dexter."

"But if they never lie on blogs, she will come, I'm sure."

"Are you sure?" No one has ever seen her.

"... I hope so, my Deck can't wait to face it."

"We should go home."

"What ?! The Black Rose is the greatest duelist of all time, the story says her monster cards are real, her trap cards are real, and her magic cards are-"

"Let me guess, her magic cards are real."

"Exact."

"If you don't want to help me, that's fine, but I won't move from here! * Sniff * * sniff *," Dexter sobbed.

"No need to cry, I'll stay with you."

"I do not cry!"

Yusei and I walked over to Leo and his friend.

"Leo, how are you?

"Huh ... the Amnesiac Duelist and Genesis !"

"Hi Leo." I greeted.

"How are you ?"

"Good, but what are you doing here Leo? This place is dangerous for children." I asked.

Dexter was looking at us with an anxious gaze, because Yusei, Tanner, Yanagi and Blister looked a bit out of place and the mark of crime on Yusei and Tanner made them bad guys.

"Where is your sister?" Yusei asked.

"She didn't want to come, she's practising with the new card Genesis gave her."

Leo looked at me and said, "Thank you, Genesis, for the card you gave her, she is very happy."

"You're welcome."

Dexter pulled Leo up and said, "Leo, these aren't good people, you have to be careful."

Yanagi walked over to Dexter, and Leo and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Ahhhh!" Dexter was scared with Yanagi near him.

"We are waiting for the Black Rose." Leo was calm. Ignoring Dexter's frightened cries.

Yusei, Blister and Tanner laughed at the kids, and said the Black Rose was a myth. Leo then noticed the FortuneCup invitations in my hand and Yusei's hand, and he was excited.

I laughed when I saw him jump around. While I was laughing, Yusei suddenly moaned in pain, and knelt on the ground.

"GaaHaaa!" Yusei moaned.

"Yusei!"

Yanagi, Tanner, and Blister leaned in to help, but I looked ahead with a smile on my face.

Very quickly, a violent gust of wind appeared, blowing a lot of dust, and cards.

"Flee! The Black Rose is here!"

"Run for your life!"

A towering dragon appeared before us, causing no destruction, but causing a lot of wind to blow. I stepped back, to avoid the dust. Yusei held her arm with the mark and Leo looked at her in surprise.

Yusei rushed over to the dragon, followed by Leo, and ended myself with a smile.

Arrived in front of the black rose, a woman wearing a mask and a cloak appeared in front of us. The Black Rose looked at Yusei because of her mark, but when I appeared behind Yusei, all of the Black Rose's attention was focused on me. I spread my arms, motioning for her to come over.

I looked at Akiza with a slight smile, but Yusei stepped forward to try to speak with Akiza. However, Akiza disappeared with her powers, and appeared in my arms.

Yanagi watched this scene in surprise, and exclaimed, "What is this ?! It's amazing!"

"You say it, Grandpa ..." Blister said.

"We found her, she really exists, Leo!"

"Yes Dexter, but this is the last time I'm on your plan!"

As everyone watched Akiza clinging to my body, I looked at the scenery around us. Everything had returned, but no destruction.

Yusei looked at us and asked me: "Genesis, who is it?"

I smiled, and Akiza introduced himself, "Akiza Izinski. I'm also a Signer like you, and Genesis. I'm his girlfriend too."

As everyone stared at us with wide eyes, Blister was the first to speak.

"Wait a minute. Aren't you that girl Genesis saved a year and a half ago?"

Akiza nodded. Blister, looked at me and nudged.

Yusei was next, and he asked for the meaning of the sign on his arm. Akiza and I just said that we were also ignorant of the meaning of these signs.

While everyone was talking I looked up to see Lazar's sinister face, when he saw me staring at him with a cold gaze, but with a gentle smile he felt a shiver down his spine and he turned to leave.

"Hmph."
