43 Happy Ending

A few years had passed since both Xia Lin and Xiao Qiang came to the modern world. After coming to the 21st century, they lived in the forest for 5 years before making a decision to move into the city.

They were able to live happily in the forest with no disturbances and loved each other like there was no tomorrow. Xia Lin's was similar to that of a girl who fell in love during her teenage years. It was strange that they were to live in the forest for so long without having anyone recognize that someone was indeed living there.

But they were not humans after all and when they built their home there, they made sure it blended in with the forest. Any humans that came to the island would map out the island as geographers always did, but they never placed the location that she and Xiao Qiang lived in.

Why? It was because whether you were in a helicopter or not, you would never find their house. Only after leaving did the experts of the human world find something off about the island. The experts spent years trying to figure out why was it that they never saw the place that was inhabited although they had circled the island so many times already.

Of course, their questions were never going to be answered because the couple left no evidence or trace that showed who they were. A few years later, the experts gave up on the search and the couple was netizen living in China like the rest of the people.

They blended in well. During the few years that Xia Lin and Xiao Qiang lived in the city, Xia Lin had been teaching Xiao Qiang the way how the modern world looked at. From their philosophies to their technology.

Only after when she was confident that he had a full grasp on the modern world did she finally let him out and explore. As for her, she had a successful business that spread like the wind. It was a fashion industry and she became a fashion queen respected by all.

Everybody knew her name and how her personality was. A cold devil that should not be interfered with. However, everybody also knew her husband. Xiao Qiang was also very successful. He was even more powerful than Xia Lin as she was only a branch of his huge company.

He led an entertainment industry, but also reached out to other fields such as medical, makeup, and more. This was to make it so that the entertainment industry did not have so much to pay when they made their own films and such.

Of course, everybody also knew about how much colder Xiao Qiang was. Nobody even dared to look at him the eyes, but if someone were to see the couple together, they would look as if the sky has just fallen.

The two coldest people in the world was showing such loving looks that was impossible to see. However, no matter how beautiful and handsome Xiao Qiang and Xia Lin looked, nobody dared to look at the couple.

They knew just how much jealousy could be built up. Xiao Qiang killed any man who dared court Xia Lin and Xia Lin also did the same. However, everybody agreed upon how much the couple matched to each other.

It was a match made in heaven. Too bad the humans did not know that the couple had already destroyed the heavens so badly and only had a replacement working for the many millenniums in heaven to not destroy the natural way of life.

After hard days work, the couple came home. The first to speak was Xia Lin. "Hubby!"

"Mm." Xiao Qiang could see her happy smile as she had a thought. He didn't know what she was planning, but it was most likely something about both of them. "What is it?"

"Hubby, clear your schedule for tomorrow. I'm taking us out on a date!"

She was clearly super at this moment. They hadn't had a date in a long time, so naturally he did as told. He didn't know that she would take them into the city to just walk around.

Him calling to his assistant to clear his schedule meant that he agreed to her date. It wasn't like if they ever planned their dates anyways. Busy people can't plan dates, but can plan business. A sad life they had, but he promised to her that they can try for a baby once they came to the city.

It was the only reason why she was willing to leave the island. The news did make headlines.

When the next day arose, she dressed in comfortable clothing. She wore a white denim shorts and an off-shoulder shirt in lilac with lettuce edges. To top it off, she wore a pair of white slip-on sandals. She brought nothing with her.

Not even her identification letters. Why? Obviously because she trusted that Xiao Qiang will carry them. Including the money. She liked being spoiled only by him and no one else. Even if she was rich, no matter what, she would let Xiao Qiang buy her anything.

He was her walking wallet and her lover now. He definitely was much more important to her than 5 years ago. If Xiao Qiang knew her thought process, he would definitely torture her to unending pleasure.

As for Xiao Qiang, he didn't mind his look, so he wore all black. He also definitely made sure to bring Xia Lin's identification letters and lots of money just on case the sellers did not accept card. He didn't know why, but after he made a debut to the modern world, she fully depended on him.

He didn't mind the feeling. In fact he loved it. He never had a chance to fully take care of her and spoil her like this because she always stopped him and looked at him liked a tigress would. This time however, he felt over the heavens as she finally allowed him to spoil her to no ends.

Today especially. Once they were ready, they left to the city. Although not many people recognized their faces, they still attracted a lot of attention due to their high standing looks. However, the couple did not mind the stares and continued on freely.

Especially Xia Lin. She couldn't let others soil her fun because today was her date. It was too bad that she forgot, she once came here to have fun. She disappeared unannounced and came back unannounced, but that didn't mean nobody recognized her...

On a fine day, Xia Lin's ex-boyfriend comes to greet her. Xia Lin had been with Xiao Qiang for the day showing him the modern world in the presets of saying it was a date.

"Hey! Ling Ling nice to see you again. Want to-ahh my eyes!"

Xiao Qiang pulled her into a deep kiss in front of her ex with a triumphant smirk that seems to say, "Hmph! I win."

Who would have known that Xia Lin had an ex-boyfriend here? Nobody. It was too far into the past. Xia Lin was indeed a trouble maker and when she had a rift with Xiao Qiang once, she came to the this place to meet this boy.

Imagine the anger when Xiao Qiang finds out that she cheated on him because of their stupid rift. I mean of course, she was playing around, but why would she get a boyfriend? Since she was finally reminded of him, she thought to herself, "Make sure that hubby never finds out about the past."

She was practically praying in her head. However, Xiao Qiang had an odd look in his eyes. He may be happy about winning, but he thought that it was strange how someone knew her name and face. Her name is not Ling Ling, but her face has never been revealed to this world before.

Because of this, he looked at her and eyed suspiciously. Xia Lin felt the stare and looked downwards in guilt. She thought, "How to escape this? Should I kneel on a wash board?"

"Look, hubby, it was in the past. I didn't even remember him until he popped out of nowhere."

"Popped out of nowhere?"

Because of her ex, she was dragged home in their private pent and questioned by Xiao Qiang. "Hubby, I promise you, we had nothing to do with each other. We were just close friends. Really, nothing at all."

Xiao Qiang didn't believe in her story at all and asked with a possessive tone, "You want to tell me now or on the bed?"

He discovered that his woman was always truthful when they were doing the deed. He thought that this was the best way to have her confess.

"How about now? Yes, now! No need to do it on the bed. Let's do it now so that we can sleep early. We both have a meeting tomorrow."

"Don't worry, I just need the truth. As for tomorrow, you can attend the meeting if you can make it." He had a suspicious smile. It was full of satisfaction, but it was dangerous. Xia Lin shuddered at his smile.

"Come on! It was just a random dude okay? I didn't have a big reaction when I discovered I was not your first!" Xia Lin thought in her head. She wished that this jealousy incarnate could let her have a leeway when she did nothing wrong.

"It was his fault in the first place for that rift. Jerk!" She screamed in her head as Xiao Qiang pushed her to the bed.

In the end, on the next day, not only did Xiao Qiang get to have the truth, he also got satisfy his dragon. As for Xia Lin, she couldn't get up due to the pain in her hips. Even if she sacrificed her face with the panda eyes, she still couldn't make it to the meeting.

She had to call her assistant to tell everyone that she could not attend the meeting. Xiao Qiang was more than reveling in the fact that she couldn't appear. The meeting was for the design of the handsome boy band that included 5 members.
