10 Replacement.

Aaron let go of Elijah and removed the cuffs from his hands,Elijah passed out from the amount of blood that was taken from him,there he laid with his eyes closed and blood dripping from his neck,Aaron grew some restraint and got out of the bed and went out to call Logan,his brother.

"Logan on the line,who's there?"

"Aaron"

"You never contacted your brother ever! this is a miracle-"

"I need help. Elijah passed out"

"he what what what?! hey what did you do to him.. don't tell me you-"

Aaron kept quiet and recieved a heavy reprimanding from his brother for about 10 minutes.

"you did it against his will? oh my jesus knuckles. Okay breathee,clean his neck to prevent an infection and changed his clothes and let him rest,I'll cut my business trip short and come over tomorrow morning. "

"Do I have to?"

"Aaron."

"Fine"

The call ended and Aaron went back to his room seeing Elijah was gone from his bed and his eyes widen in shocked and looked around the room for where he had gone to, not seeing a trace he went to Elijah's room which was next to his to see Elijah not in his room either.

Until, he saw rhat the bathroom light was on and there was a water sound, when he realized he sat down on Elijah's bed and waited for Elijah to come out so he could explain and apologise for what he had done.

Elijah went out of the bathroom with wet hair and a cloth hung around his neck and a white shirt with matching pants.

Elijah saw Aaron on his bed while walking out and fell down in shock as he lost his focus while walking down the steps.

Aaron walked over to Elijah and helped him out.

"uh hey,you're fine right?"

"What do you want from me?! Get away from me!"

Aaron backed off with his hands up.

"Why did you do that? I said no!" Elijah started crying.

Aaron thoughy it woukd be best to leave him alone,so he left the room stomping his foot in anger. He didn't know why he was so angry.

Elijah didn't leave his room once as he was scared of what's going to happen if he did, he picked up his phone and dialed Oliver.

"Hey Elijah! what's up?"

"Oliver.. can you come over? I'm scared I'm scared"

"What happened?! I can't at the current moment, I can only visit you tomorrow, can you tell me what happened?"

"I'll.. tell you tomorrow.. please come im scared"

"Hang on okay? I'll come tomorrow morning"

Elijah offed his phone and proceeded to lock the door and went to sleep,he didn't care about the banquet, he just wanted his misery to be over. He cried himself to sleep as he recalled the memories from earlier.

Aaron realized that he had to go to the banquet alone, losing his mood he started to throw papers on the ground in frustration. He still had one hour left to reach the banquet, finding no better plan he walked upstairs and knocked on Elijah's door.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lose control of myself,I'll buy you stuff on the way to the banquet, can't you just forgive me?" Aaron cringed when he said that,he had never apologise to anyone before and felt uncomfortable saying it.

"You promise you won't do it again..?"

"Yes,so get out or I'll be late"

He heard footsteps coming closer to the door and eventually the door opened.

"I need to change.. I'll meet you downstairs"

Aaron nodded his head and walked away.

Soon after, they both met outside the gate and Elijah went to sit at the back of the car,furthest away from Aaron as possible.

"I want a smoothie."

"You want a what?"

"4 Smoothies, and a burger"

"what the hell"

"4 Smoothies, burger and sushi"

"Do i seriously have to go buy them?"

"You promised, and besides the banquet rarely serve that type of food."

Aaron sighed and proceeded to buy the items Elijah wanted.

They soon reached the banquet after buying Elijah's food.

"Aaron, long time no see my boy."

"Mr Portishe"

"Glaed you remembered me, why don't you come over to my table? I have alot I want to"

Mr Portishe looked at the companion besides Aaron and his eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

"Didn't Chase died? how could he be here?!"

"He's not Chase, just looks like him Sir"

"You seriously found a substitute for Chase?"

Aaron kept silent at the question and proceeded to walk away. Elijah was in shock, who was this Chase guy? So he was merely just a replacement?.. he wasn't even surprised anymore, he followed Aaron with his head down and wished this night could end earlier.

"If you want to eat anything, you can take them."

Elijah nodded his head but stood still beside Aaron.

"Do you want anything? or are you shy to take them? I can help you"

"No, it's okay"

"Do you want to sit down?"

"No need.. I'll stand" Elijah realized that Aaron's kindness was only for this guy named Chase and it wasn't for him, he didn't know what to think anymore and kept quiet throughout the whole banquet.

When the banquet was finally over, Aaron and Elijah sat inside the car.

"Why are you so quiet today? Are you still angry?"

"You don't have to treat me well just because I looked like Chase."

Aaron kept quiet for a while, trying to find words to explain himself.

"I wanna quit this job"

"What? Why?"

"I'm quitting tomorrow."

"You don't have to quit just because-"

"You only hired me because I looked like that guy, I don't want to be a replacement for anyone"

None of them speak a word after that.
