Welcome Home(1)

After four hours on air, the plane has finally landed at the Imperial International Airport. Wang Lixue silently exited the airport followed by Liu Jin and the bodyguards. Behind her, Liu Jin has been observing her with a worried face. Since the take off, Lixue has remained quiet which is very unusual of her. She is someone with an unlimited energy who doesn't stop talking and cannot bear an awkward silence.

Lixue is currently drowned by her own thoughts. She was walking absent mindedly when she suddenly felt someone pull her from behind. "LIXUE!" Liu Jin pulled her just in time and saved her from being hit by an incoming car. He looked worried at first then his face shifted to anger. "Wang Lixue!!! What have you been thinking?!! Why are you so out of it?! Can't you be more aware of your surroundings??!"

Lixue blinked a few times then turned her head to look at the car that almost hit her. Looking back at Liu Jin, she sheepishly scratched her cheek with her free hand. "Sorry. I guess I'm just jet lagged." She smiled apologetically at Liu Jin. He just let out a sigh to calm himself as he lets go of her arm and straightens his suit. At the same time, two identical black SUV's stopped in front of them, one tailing the other.

"This is us, Young Miss." Liu Jin pointed at the SUV gesturing for Wang Lixue to get on while the driver opens the door of the back seat for her.

"Okay." She smiled at Liu Jin and expresses her thanks to the driver as she goes into the car. When everyone got to their seats, the car smoothly makes it's way to the Wang Family House.

Lixue was looking out the window the whole time of the journey when she noticed that the surroundings has changed. Looking in front, she saw that they are approaching a majestic white metal gate. She raised her brows in astonishment, then noticed Liu Jin pick up a small remote from his pocket, pressed the button then the heavy metal gates automatically opened.

Entering the premises, a 10-meter long line of tall red-violet bougainvillea plants on both sides of the road welcomed her eyes. Passing through the bougainvilleas, she continued looking around. To her right, she then saw from afar a huge green house. To her left was a vast green land, a barn stands alone at the far side and faint sounds of horses can be heard from inside of it. After a few more meters, the cars entered a drive way with a big fountain at the middle. The car where Lixue is stopped right in front of the jaw-dropping mansion. It is painted in pure white that accentuates the maroon frames of the many windows and the gigantic main door. On the left and right side of the mansion is a vast rise garden. There, at the flight of stairs lay a long red carpet. With servants lined up to the side waiting to greet the estranged young miss.

Liu Jin alighted the car to open the back seat door. Lixue then stepped off the car. She looked around her feeling like she doesn't belong to this grand place. When Liu Jin closed the door, the servants bowed in a 90 degree angle and greeted her with utmost respect. "Welcome back home, Young Miss."

INSIDE THE MANSION

A middle aged lady was holding her husband's hand tightly. Her face looks very nervous. At her early 50's, her eyes still full of life, her high nose bridge very prominent and her thin lips pursed. There are visible wrinkles around her eyes and forehead, but her beauty is still very visible. The man beside her looks at her wife with love and adoration present in his golden brown eyes. With prominent cheek bones and high nose bridge, his looks can be compared to actors of his age. His dimples visible on both his cheeks as he smiles reassuringly at his wife.

"Jing, my love, relax. We have to be relaxed so our baby won't get afraid of us. We haven't seen her for 15 years. She-" Wang Wei stopped what he was saying to his wife when he heard the servants outside. 'Welcome back home, Young Miss'

"Love!" Li Jing emotionally tugged her husband's arm.

"She's here. Let's go."

"Okay."

The middle aged couple then stood up from their seat and headed to the door. When they just stepped into the hallway, the door opened revealing the crying house keeper. "Master! Madam! *sniff* The young.. the young miss is back! Finally back!"

Behind the old housekeeper stands their nephew Liu Jin, beside him is a very beautiful young lady. Her pale porcelain skin in contrast of her pitch black long hair.
