Noise.. The noise are coming out from the room. Mayumi get the broom near the door and prepare herself to hit whoever made the sound. Then she went out the room to inspect, she walk quietly. If He is my boss, why that he would make that sound so loud.. hmm.. what time it is? 2:00 O'clock am .. it's cold but her sweat are running on her forehead.. what if ? Thieves.. gosh. Calm down yourself Mayumi. No thieves ok.. she continued from walking until she reached the main door..

And hit the man standing in the dark with all her strength!

ArrrGh! It's hurt!

Terrence was out from drunkenness when his back was hit.. He gritted his teeth for the outburst pain..

Boss??! Mayumi was shock also.

Why did you hit me??!

I thought you are a thief..oh sorry boss, why did you came home so late..?

You wench.. don't ask me. Help me to lay down on the sofa...I'm still drunk 😵..and my back was hurt.

Ok boss.. come on. Hold my hand.

He is so tall and a little bit heavy but think she can. He grasped her waist also and a million of voltage of electricity he released that runs within her body.. gosh. Their body were too close and she can smell the alcohol from his mouth but still it smells not bad.. What is that feeling? It's an awkward feeling.

They both reached the sofa and he lay down from it.

Ouch my back is still in pain! This is your fault..

Do you really want me to take off my clothes? He smiled so meticulous.

He hold her hand that caused her to fall on his body.

Gosh! Nothing happened. He was drunk. Perhaps he would forget it tomorrow.. She ran so fast back to her room and her heart also was beating so fast!

That is a sweet kiss.. yeah sweet one but it's for his wife definitely.

Baby Dylan.. he smiled after seeing his son. But it was a short smile because he felt the pain from his back..

My back! Why it was hurt suddenly!

He kept on thinking why his back was hurt. What did he do last night? When he went home, he accidentally touch the flower base that's why it fell.

she felt so uneasy seeing Terrence remembered something.. no not the kiss please.

No. After you take care Dylan, clean my room and cut my nails..

She showed up her smile again that makes him more irritated. That's the first punishment from hitting my back. The second one.. hmm let me think about it later.

Boss.. I think you're late from work.

I am the boss remember.. I can work even I'm not in the company..

Mayumi you can eat your breakfast first. Then clean my room. I'll take care Dylan here.

She smiled so bright again. She's like a sunflower giving you joy and hope.

He don't like it. He went near again to hers and close that sweet lips..

Go! Go out.. he push her and close the door.

She pouted and kicked the door..

Bastard! Heartless boss! Said to herself.

He can't help himself but smile with his craziness.. he can't explain his feelings why. Then he went near to Dylan and play with him.

Dylan fell asleep and she was done cleaning the room of his boss.. he is like a weather.. he has a mood swing. It's time to cut his nails.

Boss I'm done cleaning.. I need to cut your nails now..

He is watching Television in the dining area..

Ok. Here! He stretched out his hand..

She get the materials to cut his fingernail and foot nails.

While cutting his nail.. he can't avoid to look at her so closely like that.. she is so pretty.. a face like an angel, pointed nose and lips like a sweet rose. With pretty eyes and lashes.. her hair is so shiny black that suits her cuteness..

Ok.. get up!

Boss I'm not yet done!

No I can cut my nails alone, can you cut the weeds out of the garden?

Ah ok boss! I can do that..

Ok I'll be the one to take care Dylan when he wake up.

She stand now and ready to go outside..

No.. you are not attracted to her.. She's the nanny of your child Terrence! He thought to himself.

Hi roses .. don't worry I will take off all the weeds here.. you'll be more beautiful.. wow sunflower, does it have here? Flowers are really beautiful.. I really love you.

Meanwhile..few minutes later..

After cutting the nails on his foot.. he stood up and look for the lady.

From the window he was watching her.. He couldn't deny the fact that he was really attracted to that beautiful lady in the midst of the flowers.. a perfect picture. He walk outside also and step closer behind her.. he kept standing.

But Mayumi kept talking to the flowers..

My boss is so rude, heartless person I ever knew. He really don't know how to treat women with respect, his parents also he really don't know how to treat them well. Hoping boss can move on from the past and see that life is beautiful despite of unpleasantness.. hmm.

She stand up and turned her back and her eyes were so wide.

Boss!! Have you heard something?!

Yeah I heard so much about me..

he said and entered the house..

Boss ! I'm sorry..

She followed him.

Sorry boss..

I heard it already.

What do you think I would felt after hearing those words?

Sorry boss.. I made a mistake.

They went both in Dylan's room.

She get the bottled milk and give it to him..

Dylan baby! Don't cry anymore.. nanny and daddy are here! She exclaimed.

He stopped from crying and sucked the baby milk.

Ok Mayumi! You can go out I can take care of him.. I will call you when I need you..

Boss, I'm really do sorry It would never happen again.

4 months later...

A snowfall month came up..

This is her first time to witness a snowfall. Where you could see different shape of a tiny snowflakes.. which were so cute but her coat is kinda annoying.. she can't even move! It's really thick and heavy.. She went near to the window. She was really amaze to the snowflakes ❄️falling from the sky.. but it seems that the snow represents the loneliness in life.. definitely to the heart of the man of this house which is cold as ice. But she ignore this thought, she went out and let the snow falls from her head. Some snowflakes fell from her face.. the touch of cold transfer into her inner being. What she felt is excitement and joy like a child. Finally, she experienced the feeling of playing through the midst of like a freezing field. It's really awesome experience!

She didn't notice the two set of eyes watching over her. He is Terrence. He went out also and got curious what she's doing. She's playing with the snow. How childish she is!

He formed the ice onto his hands and throw it to the beautiful lady who's still amazed to the snsowflakes. She was a little bit surprised and find who did it to her. When she saw him, she pouted. He broke up his wide smile seeing her annoyed.

Boss why did you throw----

Another ice spread onto her head.. it was really cold.

You?!! How dare you?!

She was really mad, now it was her turn. She make a huge form of ice and throw it to that man! It bumps onto his face. He was stunned on his stand.

Her smile is too wide after she sees his reaction. So cold..

Why are you here outside? It's too cold," he said while shaking his hand and wfiping out all the ice from his face.

"Boss I was amazed to every snowflake ❄️ .. this is my first time to witness this beauty."

She said with her beautiful smile and her eyes sparkling like stars.

And it does something in his heart but he ignore it.

You are a childish adult. Playing with snow are for children only. What if cold catches your weak body? How about Dylan? Who will take care of him when you're sick! Let's go in.

Boss. I have a strong body. You don't need to worry about me.

Who said that I'm worried about you? You're the nanny of my child and I was worried for him when no one will take care of him when you have fever. Don't be heady, let's go in.

She frowned and take a deep breath. She tried to walk but she can't move. She was freeze plus her coat is too heavy.

Boss I was stuck! I can't lift up my foot.

What??! He exclaimed while running toward her. Are you feeling ok?!

No. I was freeze boss here on my stand. I can't walk. My foot became so numb. I can't feel anything.

'That's what I told you. You are so heady.'

He said and then lifted her up and walk inside their home...

A unique feeling arise within her and their eyes met. Look like their world stop on that moment.

Then he break the silence.

You are really so stubborn!

She laid her down to the sofa. Still she looks pale and still shivering from cold. She don't even notice the weather because she was mesmerized from falling of each snow flake.

Here. I brought you tea, it's good to warm up your body. Don't you ever play again to the snow, your body can't adjust too fast here. Let me have your foot. I will massage it to ease its numbness.

Still she can't believe who's the man in front of her. He is so kind now. What have he eaten, why suddenly he became so kind?

Don't you ever look at me like that. I'm not doing this for you. If you're sick who will----

Boss I'm not sickly woman. I'm strong! I can take care of myself. And of course I will not let myself to be feeling ill. Because Dylan needs me. I will be the best nanny to take care of him.

Don't be boastful. Just obey my words. I don't want you to be sick. That's it!

Alright boss. But that is my dream to play with the snow. In our country we only have two weather ..dry and wet season, I'd only saw snowflakes on television. Now I'm really happy catching and touching them. It's a dream come true for me.

She said while still shivering. Then she sip the cup of tea to heat up her shivered body.

But .. this weather is not really good.. it is the saddest season here. You can't go out for work when ice is thicker than the floor. You will stay here as long as the ice is there. You will wear a usual heavy coat like what you wear. Every snow fall I remember our memories of my beloved wife.. the pain returns when snow fall is approaching. Because this weather is a romantic season for a couple. I remember everything about us.. just like tonight.

Boss, I'm really sorry. If only I can ease your pain, I will. But only time can heal your wounded heart.

Yes. It's true and I am hoping for that.

Ok! Finish your tea.. I will look 👀 for Dylan just call me when you need help ok..

He stood up and walk through the room of his child but Mayumi Called him.

Doing the routine almost every day.. taking caring of Dylan is not that hard at all. She did everything to attend his needs until he finally completed the word nanny and daddy.. he is a good baby.. when he met his 1 year old a grand birthday celebration was held..Terrence had change a little, he is not a lonely man as it is before.. but still he didn't approach his parents. Mayumi's feel so bad about it.. their culture is really different.. wherein family is very important.

Two months later..

"I don't really care if they are mad at me! They didn't understand how it feels how painful here!!!," he said shouting while pointing his heart.

"Boss, how long would you suffer from paining yourself, how long would you not freed yourself from imprisonment of anger and agony? You are so grateful enough that you have your parents beside you, to cheer you up. While me? I'm not living with my parents, my mother died when I was born, I don't know my father who is, while you? You have your parents, she said with tears.

With her words.. he was staring blankly in the eyes of this woman. Who is she to speak on him like that?.. this woman is really annoying but seeing her hurting, makes his heart twice aching than hers.

"I'm sorry Sir.. I suddenly miss how it feels of having parents.. " she exclaimed then suddenly disappeared while crying.

It's been a year ago... but her homesickness is attacking her greatly. She misses her not biological parents badly! The Philippines as well, her beloved nation. Her boss didn't understand how lonely it is to stay away from your love ones. Only he cared about is himself. Imprisoning himself from the past of his beloved wife. But whatever he does, she will never came back to life. She was still in the deep thought but several knocks disturb her.

She opened the door and her boss standing in front of her with baby Dylan.

"Ahm. I'd been silly this previous hours.sorry for that. let us go to the Park with Dylan to enjoy the summer if you want only." Terrence said without looking to her directly.

She smiles and lit her eyes up. Like a child she forgotten the loneliness she felt and let her face to shine on his. He felt something in his heart.. a special feeling started to grow for this girl.

Boss really?? Yey, It's been too long that I didn't see the beauty outside of this house.., she said with a brighter smile.

Well nice. Change your clothes and we will wait for you, no need to prepare everything for baby Dylan. Because I already did this.

Ok boss. Wait for a few minutes!

She wore a green floral dress 👗 and put powder and lip gloss to her red lips.. she was contented with her simple looks. Then, she hurriedly went out and open up the car..

Let's go boss I'm excited! She exclaimed while wearing the seatbelt.

But Terrence was dumbfounded!

She's beautiful!

Nanny!, nanny! said the one year old boy..

Oh.. my little boy, I love you. She said and kiss her kiddo.

Terrence stared to the woman in front of her.. she's like an angel with a bright smile. She still talking to her child.. no. It can't be, I would never allow to fall in love again except from his wife..

Close your mouth and never put smile on your face. You're are really stubborn! He yelled at her that's why she look up..

What? Boss? I can't control my face to smile whenever it needs to. You are so apathetic, heartless man! She replied while pouting..

Nanny I love you too.., Dylan suddenly said..

She smiled again and when she saw that Terrence is looking at her, she take it back. And turns her whole attention to Baby Dylan. She smiled again.

I told you not to------ he was interrupted by Mayumi's words.

Baby Dylan, you are so sweet and kind.. Don't be like your father when you become a man.. he is so heartless!! She said while scratching its head. The baby smiles back. But Terrence face turns red.

What? What did you say?! Who is heartless?!, he asked irritated.

Very good baby! Oh who is that man talking to me. I guess we have a ghost companion Dylan today, you and me will only talk. Nobody else. She said ignoring the driver of the car.

How dare you not to talk with me I'm your boss! He said irritably and stopped the car in a parking lot. They are at the park already.

Ouch! Be careful!

Dylan, I'm scared the ghost is really mad 😡 and he kept on talking. She said like a frightful one but Baby Dylan only hug her and turns to his daddy.

Daddy I love you.. the angel said with smile and wipes away all his irritation with this girl.

I love you too.. he said and show up his genuine smile. But Mayumi was glued and kept on staring.. she can't believe that Terrence give smile, the best smile she had seen from him. He look up and become puzzled from her.

What??? He asked.

Boss, perfect! You smile now. You are not a heartless man.. you have the best smile today. I want to celebrate this day..

You are crazy girl I have ever met. Bring the basket and baby Dylan's bag.

Alright boss. I'm so happy today.

Don't smile ok! I remember what you said earlier that I'm a ghost and heartless man.

Boss sorry.. here I will put the blanket here, the food and of course let us forget the bad days that we had, let us relax boss and forget that you and I were mortal enemies.

Tyron! Terrence exclaimed when turns back.

Go! Prepare the food and milk for baby Dylan.

She pouted for interrupting their conversation but she obeyed but still her face was turned off.

Mayumi is ready to answer but-----

No she's not available tonight we're going to a dinner, Terrence replied aggressively.

What? Boss ? You didn't told me that---

But now I'm telling you, we will have a dinner tonight. And Tyron do you have any business today aside from here?

Ah. Well, I have a sport to go with. But Mayumi this will not be the last meeting we will have baby. 😁

Terrence face became so dark after hearing his words. And he turned to Mayumi's face, she showed up her sweet smile to that man? He went near to Mayumi and gave Dylan. Then face his cousin..

As you see, I'm fine Tyron! You may go now ok!

Ok cousin' but can I court your nanny?, he said with smile.

Mayumi blushed when she heard it.

She stared blankly. Is there an angel who fall from heaven? Why his boss became so kind as this time. Why his mood changes too fast. But she obeyed. He keep looking to the sky.

She sits beside her boss and look up to where he is looking.

Boss, are you sure I cant go out a date with Tyron?

No. Dylan needs you. He needs a full time nanny. So don't go out with a date.. after the contract you are free..

Five years before I go with a date?, she said with eyes wide open.

The kiddo is happy seeing the butterflies around. He gaze to that woman, seeing her happy with her child.. a perfect mother for his son.

He get up and set his camera's phone and capture the beautiful moment in a secret way. Perfect photo!

Then he look up again to the sky.. starting to this day forward. He will live a new life again.. setting himself free from loneliness on losing his wife... but Jasmine would be also happy if he will continue his life..😁😁

Ah-- yes boss! I'm just witnessing their beauty. And being thankful to God because he never left me alone. He gave beautiful people like you in my life.She said while still looking up.

After few seconds the cold winds interrupted them.. he take off his coat and put it on her.

Then pinch her nose, I told you not to smile like that.. go to your room. It's too cold now.
