7 Enjoy The Things You Have

There was a little girl sitting with her mother. She saw a girl playing with a lady that seemed like that child and the mother are having fun. So she added:

"Mother, why is that girl smiling so happily." The child turned around and watched the same girl laughing around. The mother added:

"That's because she's happy, something must have happened to her to be that happy."

"But mother, I'm never that happy." -The child got sad and poked her mother's arm.

"You are no longer a little child so stop it. Enjoy what you have in life." -The mother added as her tone got shaky. She got up and took the child by the hand and started walking towards the house.

"But mother, what did I do wrong?" -The child stood beside her mother.

"You are older now so start acting like that."

"Alright mother."

And so the teenage years passed, and the little girl got into high school. Everyday the girl never did anything as children her age did. She didn't go out, she didn't enjoy what they enjoyed. She didn't smile at the stuff that they smiled. She never got a boyfriend, nor she wanted one. One day, the first year highschool student wanted to ask her mother down things.

"Mother, can we talk tonight, after I come back home?" The mother answered angrily:

"Why would you talk to me, you are no longer a baby."

The girl got all sad and angry and started running towards her school. She got amazing friends, but she never acted like they did. She didn't enjoy the things they did. She was empty as the days go by.

It's third year of high school and the girl asked her mother and father to go out but they just replied with: "No, you're too old for clubs like that." Her family members started thinking as if she's their age, she got angrier and angrier each day, but she kept all her sadness and sorrow in herself.

It was her graduation, and the mother asked her to talk about her future and what she wanted to do. But the girl refused to talk to her mother. Each day, from her high school days the mother had a bad day at work and would scream at her daughter. The mother also screamed at her when the daughter was a little child.

"Get older sooner, I cannot always take care if you."

"Why did I give birth to someone like you."

"You good for nothing."

The mother said so many bad things to her child that the child became an adult before anyone her age did. She became someone unrecognisable, the mother didn't know that what she's saying is wrong.

And the time the neither wanted to talk to her child,

"Let's celebrate together.", but the child refused.

"Let's talk about something.", but the child refused.

"I have nothing to talk to you mother, I've said everything enough. Enjoy the book I brought to you for your birthday." -The child smiled but the mother was thinking that the child is making food out if her.

"You little why would you talk like that to your mother, you don't know anything. You cannot make anything. You are not like your brother. Whz did I give birth to you."

"Well you know what, mother, I'm also sorry for not having any normal childhood and that I've grown up when u shouldn't have. Your child can do many things, it's just that you refused to see that."

"How can you talk like that." -The mother screamed and the child laughed.

"What? I've became someone you couldn't recognise? Is that so? It's your doing mother. It's the decision you made long time ago. I've lost everything I've cared about long time ago. And the things I've loved, I've shattered everything in the garbage can. The dreams you asked long time ago? They have been dead for over 10 years now. And why us that? Because you wanted me to grow up before anyone else did my age. I was annoyance to you..." -The child stopped talking and just looked at the shocked mother's face.

"I've never said that to you..." -The mother added.

"But you did say the other things that I didn't want to hear at all." -The child smiled.

"You asked me what my plans are for the future? I don't have anything to say to you, because I don't see myself anywhere. The future is just rotten for me." -She child sighed and walked away.

The mother said that she's sorry all over again but the child didn't care at all. She said: "I'm going somewhere."

"Where are you going?" -The mother added.

"Somewhere far away. Far away from here." -The child added.

"Wha- How can I live without you?" -The mother added.

"You wanted me fine anyways, so you'll never see me from this point in."

The child left and never walked in the house again.
