Emily…

As he moved forward the cold wind hit his face and his tears vanished before they could even touch the ground. With his red and wet eyes, he walked through every street which he never wanted to cross again. And as he inhaled in the air, he could only think of her, Emily. Emily, his first love, he could never forget.

6 years back when Arthur was in school in London, he met a beautiful, blonde haired girl she was a student of his school who studied modelling. Her name was Emily. At first, he didn't give a damn to any pretty girl but she was head over heels for him fall in love with her, and she finally got his attention. Arthur was not the kind of boy, who would go around any girl, or would go to parties, getting beers and stuff. He was a simple guy who spent most of his time alone. As he was an orphan, he never got the chance to feel what love felt in reality. After dating Emily for over a year he got addicted to her. But soon they got the news that Emily had cancer and she only had 6 months to live. This is the worst thing about cancer, knowing when are you going to die because no one can tell you when are you going to die. You could die in an instance, you get a heart attack in 3 sec, you get in an accident while walking in the street, just in a few minutes. And it won't even bother you much, everything would just turn black and you will fall asleep forever. You don't know if you are going to heaven or hell. But sure, you leave a hell behind you, and your family in that same hell, crying and upset with your leave. So, Arthur thought death is never about a person, it is about the near ones of that person. Well Emily didn't even realize one month got over and it was their first anniversary since they started dating. Arthur was holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and two coffee in other when he got to her school. He pressed the elevator's button and when the doors opened what he saw was just too shocking. Emily's face and lips were submerged in the lips of any other man. When she found Arthur, she quickly got up straight

"Arthur, let me explain" she said, "please, listen to me first"

He didn't say a word, threw the flowers and the coffee in the trash and went straight to the taxi.

"Arthur wait" the other boy whose name was Justin came running and grabbed the taxi's door. They both got into the taxi even when Arthur was totally disagreeing any kind of idea which involved conversation.

"look, Arthur we know you are shocked but please listen to us" Justin said. Actually, Arthur knew him, he was another student in Emily's modelling school and they always were stuck together. He never got suspicious of them, but now he wished he did.

"you didn't even remember our first anniversary, right?" Arthur said.

"Arthur, I am sorry, I did but…I was going to tell you" Emily was sobbing and tears ran down her cheeks but he didn't even give her a chance to speak. He shouted "did you even love me once or you were just too busy doing things on your bucket list before you die."

Justin was sitting in the front seat and Arthur and Emily were sitting in the back. Justin shouted "wait it's a truck" and the taxi banged with the truck. He could remember it even till now, how the sharp pieces of glass went piercing the skin inside his body. The taxi could not be identified after that accident, the doors got detached, the front glass was broken into pieces, the cars body collapsed and two heads were seen hanging outside the door. The taxi's seat was covered with red blood. Emily's white jacket would never be white again. She died on the spot but Arthur and Justin got saved. When Arthur woke up everything was blur from his eyes, all he could remember was the red jacket of Emily.

"Emily" he said with a painful voice

"sorry sir, are you looking for someone" a nurse said

"Emily" he said again.

"he must be talking about that girl who died in the car accident, she was with him, right?" two nurses were murmuring. He heard them. he got up from his bed and ran to every room searching for her, but couldn't find her. While searching he found Justin sitting on a bench. When he saw him, he was shocked, he was alive. But before he could say anything, he fainted, and fell on the ground. It was really hard for him to accept the truth. He wished that it could be a dream, but the truth was harsh.

When he was discharged, he couldn't stand a minute their and came to Canada.
