Her ankle was bruised, she saw a piece of cloth tied to it. She finished the food that was brought for her and the maids helped her to change her dress. With nothing to do she sat their on her bed thinking of the past days and suddenly remembered about Isle. Where is Isle? She hasn't seen her after that. Did William punish Isle because of her deeds?
Just then the door opened with a loud noise and William stepped in. As soon as he stepped in, her heart started to pump so fast. She started to remember all the things that happened between her and the kick thing especially, of course he had no right to punish her as it was his own choice right.
William came towards her in a cold manner. Her only thought was whether to run or to fight with her enemy that is approaching. Before she was about to move her legs he came and sat on her bed, his back facing towards her. He looked tired somehow. He placed his hands on his thighs like a royal and Anne was amazed by the aura that was coming form him. She moved close to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. She was not afraid to speak now, she felt that he was sad and was about to have a mental breakdown (as to why she knows how he was about to have a mental breakdown, she has already suffered stuffs like that while solving her integration differentiation problems). She spoke softly,"Will". He slowly shifted his gaze towards this girl who was anxious to know what happened with him. Her eyes were full of concern, he was surprised to find atleast one person who felt or atleast showed concern towards this cold hearted cruel Prince. He felt her voice somehow soothing, a bit of motherly care. All this time they were looking deep into each other's eyes and their gaze shifted to each other's lips. Tears rolled down from William's eyes, Anne couldn't stop her heart from racing. He was crying softly, wiping away his tears with his rough palms that had once fought many battles, his hands were coarse and he wiped them real hard leaving his eyes red and swollen. Anne came near him and held his hand before he was about to touch his eyes again. He said ,"The king is no more", saying so he cried bitterly, Anne froze at the spot. She was thinking how to control him but before she found any solutions William hugged her. Her heart skipped a beat, such treatment from an enemy, aren't boys and girls supposed to keep distance. She unconsciously took her hands to his back and patted him like a mother comforting her crying child.
