Chapter 5: Singularity

"You came," said the man who is sitting on the piano's chair. Only his silhouette is visible.

Wait---he can see me too?

"You can see me?" I asked.

"I wouldn't talk to you If I don't, I can see supernatural things like ghosts and spirits and such," he answered.

I've got a feeling this guy is up to no good.

"It's like you're expecting me to come here, aren't you?" I asked.

"Don't be so wary to me, I won't harm you.  I'm just curious," the guy said.

"Curious? Why are you curious about me?"

"I don't know. There's something in you that I couldn't see in other souls," he answered.

He stood up. He walked near the wall and pushed something and the whole room lights up.

He wears the same uniform as Christian. His eyes are blazing red that matches with his dark red hair. His body is well built for a highschool student.

He looks familiar.

"I'm Agust Farrell,"He said.

"You're one of Christian's classmates and you're the one who watched me earlier right?"

"Yes. Got an eye of a hawk eh?" He smirked.

"What's the piano piece you played earlier? And how did you know that I'll go to this place?" I asked.

"I learned it from someone. It says that something special will come in the vicinity of the music. I just tried it and so you came," he shrugged.

"So what are you gonna do now that I'm here?" I asked.

"That's the part I didn't planned," he answered nonchalantly.

Silence roamed the room.

"By the way. What's your relationship with Christian?" He frowned.

"Well.. uh actually he found me in the meadow. And I actually don't remember who I am.." I muttered.

"Maybe I can help?" He asked.

He looks like he's someone I can't trust.

I don't have any other choice I guess?

"I don't have someone willing to help so I--" I stopped.

"If I were you I wouldn't want to be involved in that guy."

I looked behind me.

"H-huh?" I was nonplussed by the fact that he's here.

"Why are you always ruining the fun Collins?" The feigned reaction shows in his face.

"I didn't. It just that your actions is quite affecting me in some ways," he answered nonchalantly.

It's like he's not the 'Christian' I knew when we were in the meadow..

He's so cold.

"Oh really? Does it mean that helping this girl affects you?" He smirked.

"Maybe. Let's go," he said and held my wrist.

"Wait! Where are we going?" I stopped him from pulling me.

"We're going home," he said and looked at Lance.

We walked out.

* * *

No one spoke till we came to his house.

He parked the car in his garage and he went out.

I tried to open the door beside me and It actually did.

It's still odd that I could touch it. Maybe there's a certain condition for me to touch things?

I followed him.

He sat on the bench at the garden.

I sat beside him.

No one talked. We just watched the water flow from the fountain.

"So where are we gonna start?" He asked.

"Huh?" I said.

"Aren't we going to regain your memories?" He looked at me with those blank eyes.

"You're gonna help me?" I said with full of rejoice.

"It'll be a huge attack of conscience if something happens to you because I didn't help you," he looked at me.

I grinned.

"I'm really glad that you'll help me," I smiled brightly.

He looked away.

"So where are gonna start looking for your memories?" He asked.

"Well..I don't really know," I laughed awkwardly.

Silence roamed the place.

"I know someone who might help," he said.

"Umm.. Who?" I asked.

"Let's go." he stood up and started to walked through the gate.

"W-wait!" I ran towards him.

We walked silently through the wide road.

I watched him from behind.

He's really tall. It's difficult to catched up because of his big footsteps.

"Ouch!"

I bumped to his back as he stopped.

He turned around and looked at me with a confused look.

He's probably also confused about this I-can-touch-him-though-I'm-a-ghost thing.

"We're here."

We are in front of a huge house.

He went beside the gate and push the doorbell. On one of the post of the gate there's a camera.

The gate opened and we walked through it.

The house looks elegant like it was build for a royal family in the renaissance era but it also looks creepy because of its pale color of bricks.

We stopped in front of the big double door.

Christian knocked it.

"Welcome sir, our master is in the library." said the maid who opened the door.

Christian walked towards the stairs ang I followed him.

We stopped at a wooden double door.

"Who are we meeting here?" I asked.

"An old friend." He opened the door.

A man is sitting on the chair in front of a desk.

He looked at us.

"Long time no see, my brother.."
