3 - Chapter 2 (Oops)

Still Makenzie's P.O.V

After running across campus to get to second period I start to walk slowly to class now that it's closer to me. I noticed my teacher staring straight at me. * is she going to get me in trouble ?* I ask myself. Getting closer to my teacher she greats me politely, "Hello Makenzie, why are you late ?" I'd imagine she would be mad at me.... but she seems to be calm. "Hi Mrs.Flores, i was late because my first class is all the way across campus and I accidentally bumped into someone on the way here and had to apologize". "Alright Makenzie go take a seat and start doing your work, no more tardiness" she says pointing her finger at me. "I'll only let you off the hook this time since it's the beginning of the year." I leave the 'conversation' at that.
