Adrien's pov:

I woke up after the movie finished and saw Marinette laying on my shoulder I smiled and nudged her slightly, "Marinette wake up the films over", she slowly got up and I helped her sit up right. Her fragile fingers rubbed her beautiful light blue eyes, "it's over already?", I nodded smiling and we all got up and made our way outside. "Well I have to go", I said sadly, "already dude?", Nino asked, I shrugged. "But firstly Marinette could I talk to you.. privately?".

Marinette's pov:

We walked into the alleyway and I realised it's where I transform back into my civilian form. I gulped and leaned against the wall. "So you know how I said I loved you", he asked, I looked up at him, "y-yeah". "I meant that I love you as a friend, your one of my closest friends and one of the best, I hope you didn't get that wrong way?". "Y-yeah of course not!", I said trying not to dig myself into a bigger hole that I was already in. "Thanks Marinette", he said smiling, "yeah a-anytime", I smiled kinda as we both started to walk away from the alleyway as I repeated to myself "I love you as a friend"...
