Mu city, Shan Prefecture

On an unsuspecting day at the bus stop near Wu University, the No.1 university in the prefecture and one of the top ten in the country of Long, a boy not more the 18 years old is bracing the wind waiting for the bus to arrive. Standing at 6'2 tall, with a size that is not overly thin but a small frame and a babyface as you can still see the milk in his face with short black hair that is style like those idols, Zhang Nan'Ke an orphan boy has just came from viewing the college he will be attending after the summer break is over which is just over two months away.

Nan'Ke a certified genius, or so his peers refer to him, as he indeed smart but what they didn't notice or choose not to acknowledge was how hardworking and dedicated he truly is. Nan'Ke grew up in an orphanage ever since he was a baby. He never knew who his true parents were but he was told on the night he appeared on the doorstep of the orphanage, he was swaddled in a silk blanket that was neither too thin or thick, to keep him warm and a folded envelope that had the name "ZHANG" written on it.

Only after turning 18 years old did the director of the orphanage gave him the letter stating he didn't know the contents of it. After Nan'Ke read the letter a mix of emotions flooded his face as smile etch onto his face while couple of tears ran from his eyes.

In the letter it entails that Nan'Ke real parents were just ordinary people who were only teenagers when he was conceived, with no money or family support their only choice was to give him up hoping someone could adopt him to give him a better life. Unfortunately he wasn't able to land an adoption but due to his genius mind his life was not overly bad. He was not bullied or anything drastic, a few passing comments out of jealousy or envy was what he faced from time to time.

The emotions on his face portrayed that Nan'Ke was sad that they had to give him up due their circumstances but the smile told that he had hope that they were alive somewhere out there and he may look for them in the future. He was sure that with his level of skills it won't be hard to track them down.

As Nan'ke contemplates about his future the bus arrives, where he proceeds to enter and swipe his card while finding a middle window seat. Currently he is on his way to his job that he decided to take during the summer to save up some cash to make his university life a bit easier. Seeing that he has already left the orphanage after turning 18 years old after high school graduation a month ago, Nan'ke will need a source of income. As an orphan the government had provided him with assisted living for 3 months after leaving the orphanage, after the time period he would be considered a full fledge adult and must fend for himself like any other average adult out there. A plus for him is that he has full scholarship from the university due to the outstanding result of his entrance examination scoring a 747/750.

The money received from the government was not much around $4,600 but it was enough for him to rent a small apartment on the outskirts of the city with his rent being $800 a month for a small one bedroom where everything from kitchen to bathroom is located in the living room. Not much space but for him it will do for now. As of now Nan'ke works in a local police station where he interns as a cyber security personnel or for a simpler term tech support, which is a bit strange considering his major in college is Financial Management & business economics.

However the thing is Nan'ke has always been good with computers and programming considering that he is a certified genius, computer programming might come easier to him like how mathematics might seem like child's play for prodigies as seen in certain neighboring countries in the past such as Srinivasa Ramanujan (A/n: The Man Who Knew Infinity).

His goal is to open his on business one day relying on his skills and innate talent, hence the need to learn business and financial knowledge. His dream business venture entails an investment company with an advance trading tool that he is currently building in his spare time, which is around 65% complete, he has named it "TradeMoore".

In the meantime he would continue working the little jobs until he can establish himself in the business world. His current job entails in the unlocking or "cracking' of devices or electronics obtain from criminals or suspects for evidence to be use against them if any. He gets a stipend not from the government but from the petty budget the station has which only comes around $15/hr. Nan'ke usually works for 4hrs a day which gives him $60 a day which is not great in the grand scheme of things but he is content with it as currently he has already paid for the two months rent which cost him $1,600 of the $4,600 he has which left him $3,000. His daily expense currently fluctuates between $25-40$ which gives him a minimum extra of $20.

That might seem like a small amount but for Nan'ke who is basically only gaining money everyday its a win. From his calculation he will be able to make at least an extra $1,200 give or take $200 as he might not work the entirety of the full 2 months ($20*60 days or 2months) by the time college starts, which almost gives him back the initial rent he paid. In addition when living on campus he calculates his monthly cost to be around $600 a month by continuously living frugally. This gives him at least half of a year of leeway as he would continue to work part time jobs and save up a sum of his income to start his plans.

One of his major plans is build a custom made computer that can withstand a program he wants to build, which he proudly calls it an Advance Supervisory Support Intelligent System Terminal And Network Technology or what he also likes to call it, the "A.S.S.I.S.T.A.N.T". Which is basically an advanced A.I. but he thought the acronym was cool so he just went with it. Currently only a skeletal framework has been outlined and about 2% of the core code is completed. However this is enough from him to gain control of the police station main server without getting caught. He currently uses the desktop computer the station provided him for his work and as it's connected to the server accessing it without notice is easy for him. This allows him to access every file with in the database of this local station. Be that as it may he is currently not sure what to do with the data he has gather.

Time pass as Nan'Ke arrives at the station where he proceeds to greet his seniors and go to his work station to start the day. Seeing he had spent the day touring the university and the time is now 5:30pm Nan'ke must work late tonight as he usually starts work at 2pm. As Nan'Ke sat down in his workstation, he was approached by a senior who is and police officer at the station his name is Ling Yuan. Officer Ling spoke "little Zhang there is a computer we need you crack, and I don't think is going to be pretty". Taken aback by what the officer said a confused look formed on his face, seeing the confusion Officer Ling explained that they had caught a group of delinquents, at first glance it just seem like a group, an old run of the mill "gang", but it turns out that they belong to an underground organization that deals with drugs, human trafficking and prostitution of girls of all ages.

Hearing this Nan'Ke was shook, he had never been involved in something this dark of the world before. It is not that he is naïve to believe that these things don't exist but it never occurred to him that one day he would be involved in dark side of the world even as an intern at a police station.

All his work so far was unlocking phone of petty criminals and the only occasion of any inclination of the dark world was hacking into a computer of a stalker but he didn't assault or harm his victim in anyway so the ramifications of such deplorable acts never really cross his mind as he was only focus on his goals of obtaining his money and his degree. Seeing the severity of the case Nan'Ke began working on cracking the laptop to obtain any evidence that could eventually lead to the downfall of this organization.

The laptop was collected after the officers of the station conducted a raid on an abandoned warehouse building earlier in the day where a report came in from an informant about a group of men gathering there suspiciously over period of time. Believing it a hideout for illegal activity the police had reason to carry out the search.

After unlocking the laptop, he begins to search for files that may point to the notion of the group behind this and after searching for a while he discovered something that made his jaw drop.
