Asher's only wish then was to devour her lips and to completely possess his sweet angel. With enormous resolve, he restrained his blazing desire for his angel and instead picked up a twirling lock of her golden hair. He put his lips on the strand of her hair and kissed it reverently while gazing back at Aelia. ——————————————————————— THE COVER PICTURE DOES NOT BELONG TO ME. A Parcel for Second Miss

After finishing their dinner, Aelia and Aylin got up and went to their rooms on the second floor.

While they were passing by the room assigned to Reine, they heard the Wilson mother and daughter talking.

Not realizing that Reine's room was in the same wing as the two sister's rooms, Mrs Wilson and Reine did not lower their voices while talking, as they assumed that no one would pass by the door.

"Mom, what are you going to do now? Because of that bitch you can't stay here anymore. If Aelia, that bitch hadn't specifically pointed it out, you could have initially stayed here, pretending to be concerned about me staying in a new environment. But now that Mr Romanov has clearly stated that you won't be staying here, what should we do?", grumbled Reine.

Mrs Wilson admonished, " Don't talk in such an unladylike manner. Haven't I said that now that you are a part of the Romanov family, you have to behave like a lady? Besides, who said that I won't be staying in the Romanov mansion. It's just temporary. Our first step has already been achieved. Now that you are staying here, I can visit the mansion regularly. I don't believe that I can't make Andrew fall in love with me! Besides being a little more beautiful than me, what did that bitch Amelia even have?"

On hearing such hateful words about their dead mother, Amelia Romanov, Aylin wanted to barge into the room and give a slap across Mrs Wilson's face. But Aelia held her back and shook her head to indicate that they should continue listening, to get to know more about their schemes. Seeing this, Aylin stood back with an angered expression and the two sisters continued listening.

They heard Reine reply in an admiring tone, "You are right, mom! Mr Romanov will surely fall in love with you and we'll become Mrs and Miss Romanov. By the way, mom, we have to complete our plan before Azrael returns. Or else, we might get into unnecessary trouble."

"Don't worry! That boy didn't return for ten years from the military. He didn't even stay for more than a few hours on the day of his mother's funeral. He'll certainly not come back now. Also, why are you addressing Andrew as Mr Romanov? Didn't I tell you to call him dad?"

"But mother he's actually not my father. It feels a little uncomfortable to suddenly call him dad!"

"Quiet! What are you saying? I told you to never say that aloud. I even spent so much effort in procuring a fake DNA identification document. Now, if someone hears about this, not only will my efforts go down the drain but we'll also be in trouble."

Hearing this, while Aylin was shocked, Aelia had more or less guessed about it. The two sisters returned to Aelia's room.

Aylin blurted out, "Sister, we have to tell father about it!"

Aelia shook her head, "No! What is the meaning of telling him about this without any proof? Despite it being fake, they already have the DNA confirmation document! How can we prove that it's fake? Besides father had definitely slept with Mrs Sandra at least once, otherwise, he wouldn't readily agree to this. Now if we even say that we want another DNA confirmation, how can we be sure that she wouldn't be able to produce another fake result. Even if we confront the Wilsons about the fact that we overheard them, they could simply deny everything and instead blame us for wrongly accusing them. Besides you know how father always trusts documental evidence. He wouldn't believe us without concrete proof!"

Aylin frowned and said, "Sister, then what are we gonna do?"

Aelia explained patiently, "For now, we should just wait and see. They are feeling so sure of their success that they won't be making any major moves in the next three days, after which brother Az would return. We can then ask for his help in investigating the fake documents. Meanwhile, we can keep an eye on them and try to restrict their further actions."

Aylin looked at her elder sister with admiration.

"Say sister, I'm just a year younger than you! When will be able to become as capable as you?"

Aelia smiled and gently booped her on the nose.

"What are you saying? Aren't you capable too? You can mingle and talk with strangers just after a second of meeting them. I can't ever do that!"

Aelia really wanted to protect the innocent and warm personality of her sister. She knew that though Aylin was a little quick-tempered and had a straightforward personality, she was also quite intelligent. Besides if her honest and innocent outlook towards life would bring her any trouble, both Aelia and their brother Azrael were there to protect her. Aelia believed that true strength didn't mean that you could not depend on anyone. Rather she reckoned that everyone had their own strengths, so it was normal for people to depend on others.

Aelia sighed and thought to herself that she was rather weak in this aspect, for she couldn't easily get close enough to someone to trust them.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

Aylin called out, "Come in!"

A maid entered and informed them, "Second Miss, a parcel was delivered for you. I have placed it on your study table."

"Thanks!" Aelia nodded to the maid indicating that she could leave.

The maid bowed and went out.

When Aelia turned to look at her sister, she saw Aylin looking back at her with an excited face.

Amelia raised her brows and inquired, "What?"

"Sis, it must be brother Az's parcel! Let's go and see!"

Hearing this it dawned on Aelia what her sister was so excited about. Their brother Az had always sent the two sisters birthday presents a few days before their birthdays.

As she was dragged out of the door by Aylin towards her room, she thought, 'How strange! Brother Az could have given me his present on my birthday as he would be returning this time!'

Aelia shrugged and shook off her thoughts, believing that her brother might have planned the present a long time back and thus sent it by post just like other times.

As Aelia was getting dragged to her room by the excited Aylin, they came across Reine who was returning to her room after seeing off her mother at the door.

Hello readers! Why do you think Az sent the present by post? We'll finally meet brother Az in the next chapter!
