1 I : Claret Family

Two people met, some sorta magic happened and they fell for each other. How boring and cliche! Love, nothing but a crazy and never happening concept of some crazy people. I mean, where do they find these irritating cheesy lines like ''You're my world, I'll die for you'' and blah blah...in the world of facebook anniversaries and instagram birthday wishes, love holds no importance for me. Or maybe I haven't found the right one yet. Alas!

''Come down and eat your breakfast right now!''

Yeha that's my mother interrupting my bed thoughts on a bright sunny sunday morning.

''Coming Mommy,'' I reply quickly knowing that if I do any more delay coming downstairs she's gonna kill me. I, in my pajamas, come downstairs after brushing my teeth and putting my messy hair into a messier bun. So having a family breakfast has been a tradition in the Claret family for generations. Dad says that having the first meal of the day with family gives a nice start to the day.

''Good morning bunny!'' Dad and mum greet me as I greet them back. They just love calling me bunny.

After placing my ass on the chair I reach out for a bowl to have cereals. Dad started to have a conversation with me about my studies.

''So how's studies going?''

''It's going on great dad.''

''Ah so have you thought about your future bunny?'' Mommy interrupts the classic daddy-daughter conversation with a question I was avoiding for weeks.

''Look mum, I know that it might not sound like a good idea but I really want to pursue my dreams. Mum I need to do something which I love and something which will help me in the long run and help me live as well. And...'' and before I could finish dad slides a cartoon box towards me. I open it confusingly. And the moment I open the box, my face gets enlightened with happiness. I scream in the tone of both happiness and excitement at the same time.

''IS THIS THE LATEST NIKON D850?! But this is really expensive dad!''

The sunlight from our large verandah opposite the dining space is reflecting on the lens of the camera, my camera. And it just feels so awesome to call such an awesome thing mine.

''As for the price of the camera, yeah it is really expensive but nothing is more precious than the smile on your face bunny. We are your parents. We know what you want without even saying it. Me and your mum, we both want you to pursue your dreams and follow your passion,'' dad speaks first in my moment filled with awesomeness.

Mommy adds, ''We know how much you're into photography. And always remember bunny we love you no matter what.''

And before saying anything I hug mum and dad real tight, whispering into their ears, ''I love you too for understanding me, looking out for me and loving me.''

''Maybe you're forgetting the most important family member!''

''No muffin no one's forgetting you. Now come on hug me!''

And my cute but mischievous little sister Blair Claret joins the family hugging session.

"Woof! Woof! Woof!!"

Watching the family hugging session even Bourbon wants a hug now. And yeah Sunday morning went pretty well in the Claret household.

Bourbon's our pomeranian puppy. She's the cutest member of our family. I still remember the day when dad first brought her home. It was a happy day for both me and Blair.

I never thought mum and dad would understand my passion for photography. And I just love them from the deepest core of my heart.
