What A Shock

Long Yuan'an felt like he was thundered. There were as if sounds of lightning and thunders making bombing sounds in his mind. The 'boom!' and 'crackle!' resounded in his cochlea. He even thought that there were real thunder raging beside him. He could smell the scent of burnt wood in his nose...

Wait a second!

His father's study was said to have been proofed with strengthening formation. Even earthquakes and lightnings wouldn't be able to penetrate its defenses. Why would there be a burnt smell inside?

"Uh... Son, honey... could you control your power a bit? I know you're shocked but the lightning aura inside the room have been going berserk for a while now... If you would please pity your mortal mother here...?"

Then Long Yuan'an finally realized... the room had turned into a mess with the lightning he had unconsciously brings forth. There were charred evidence in almost every corner of the room... His mother's countless blueprints have turned to ashes since a while ago.

And what's more amazing, was the fact that he saw teeeny-tiny sizes of lightning particles surrounding him, like they were eager to enter his body. However, as if afraid, the lightning particles only dared to get close to him slowly, before blending into his skin. They felt a little bit tingling to the skin at first, but his body can feel the strength surging in his dantian and moved throughout his whole body.

He also saw little floating fires, transparent little blob-like thingy and... green leaves? Somehow, the amount of things in the room were too many he didn't think there was even enough space for them to move. And they were very distracting.

"Are these... aura?" He stared at the things in the air for a while, then rubbed his eyes a few more time. The auras in the air was still floating in the air. After he blinked his eyes a few more time, he finally couldn't see the auras anymore.

Phew. So many auras in a room. Even if they didn't pose any harm to people, but seeing is different from absorbing it. He felt suffocated just by seeing them.

When everything had calmed down, Long Yuan'an gave a slight exhale. Even though he did nothing, he felt exhausted. He still have not digested his mother's previous words after he saw the blueprint of the spy camera...

He looked at his mother's half embarrassed state. The turbulence of aura had turned the whole room into a big mess. If it wasn't for Ming You protecting Huang Feiyun, she would have been injured heavily.

Huang Feiyun patted the dust on her shoulders and skirt, then fixed her hairstyle that was made scattered from the rush of auras surging around her son. She was grateful she always insisted on a simple low ponytail hairstyle. Any elaborate hairstyles would've been blown away and it'd be a hassle to fix them later.

"Well, that was a very big reaction from you, son. Do you really never suspected anything? I mean, I've been throwing hints at you since you can talk." Huang Feiyun spoke as she looked around the room. Hmm, maybe she should ask her husband to add more protective formations to the study. Just a simple reaction from her son had brought forth thunders. What if he gets more agitated someday?

What she never thought of was that her coming out as a transmigrator was the most shocking thing to Long Yuan'an. After that, even in the most awkward or embarrassing situation, the boy could keep the a stoic expression as if no mountain could move him.

Hearing no response from her son, Huang Feiyun turned her head to look at him, only to see a dazed expression on his face. Her eyes suddenly widened in horror. Then, as if in slow motion, the boy closed his eyes and fell backward.
