"What are you doing here?" I asked Joy as soon as I opened the door of my house to greet the doctor who is going to help me with the project rehearsal.

"Like you don’t know, Mr. Lee hired me, he must have told you about me," she replied, meeting my gaze.

I thought for a moment that she might have come here to meet me, such a dumb thought.

"No, I don’t... How do you know him?" I asked while rolling my eyes.

"He is one of the trustees of the orphanage," she continued with a sigh.

"If you don't mind, may I come inside," she asked.

"Oh sorry, Come in," I said while leading her all the way to the hall of my house.

"Thanks," she replied, as soon as we reached the hall.

"Now tell me, why did he hire you?" I asked while glancing away.

"He wants me to help you with your upcoming schedule, so he approached me with a threat, if I can't make this opportunity to work, I would lose my job," she replied with a tight-lipped smile.
