Chapter 24 I Don't Like Disobedient Girls_1

Chenxing was terribly embarrassed about being disciplined like that by a man. The embarrassment far outweighed the pain, and she wished she could crawl into a crack in the ground.

"Take your books and come to my room," Gu Shaocheng said, hiding a smile in his eyes. He released her and walked towards his room. At the entrance, he turned back and added, "Hurry up. I don't like disobedient girls."

Gu Shaocheng and Chenxing were both sitting on his bed studying. He casually read a book on corporate law written in dense German characters, while she fervently memorized Introduction to Accounting on her end, fearful of a surprise examination from him.

Chenxing heaved a silent sigh of relief and secretly observed him out of the corner of her eye.
