The start of a new year as well as a universal Restarting Day on Earth.

Today, all kind of school will start its new academic year. Earth no longer has four seasons. There was no weather prediction anymore. There was neither autumn, fall nor winter. It's always summer all year round. The sky was almost always clear. Waiting for rain is like waiting for mankind to find another habitable planet. The usual day temperature was 40 Celsius. Fortunately, humans were the expert at adaptation.

9 o'clock in the morning, Jett Calder woke up from his sleep with a rather energetic mood. He felt a mysterious vigorous power in his slender yet muscular body. He was excited for his first day at the academy. Due to this overwhelming excitement, he can barely sleep last night.

Today was the long-awaited day – the day he can finally enter the Specialized grade. Due to an event happened many years ago, the whole world had undergone many changes. Even the structure of education has also changed a few times over the course of the years. Right now, the education system was divided into three major grades. The Primary grade, the Intermediate grade and the Advanced or Specialized grade which is equal to college in the past.

The Primary grade only took 2 years to complete and during these two years, students would have to learn a language, mannerism, basic laws, basic emotional control and basic physical body training. Thereafter, the students would have graduated and entered the Intermediate grade where they have to spend four years to learn about laws, emotional control, intelligence manipulation (reasoning, critical thinking, planning, strategizing…) and physical body training.

After which, the students have to spend six years more in the advanced or specialized grade to learn surviving skills, social, creativity, history, physical body training and most importantly specialized skills. That's one of the reasons the advanced grade was also known as Specialized grade.

After lying on the bed for a few minutes longer, Jett opened his eyes. He was thoroughly aroused now. Without getting out of his bed, Jett raised his hand to his head then tap lightly on his temple twice. Thereafter, a screen appeared in front of his eyes. It was the functions of his implanted contact lens.

Nowadays, the majority of people has one of this contact lens thingy implanted in their eyes. It has already become a common thing. Just like the smartphone from many years ago.

Jett quickly took a glance at the binary clock from the corner of the screen in front of him. It was 9:05 now. He then got out of his bed to go to the bathroom. Jett took a quick cold shower and brushed his teeth. In the bathroom, he was looking at himself in the mirror. He has a short black hair and fairly white skin, like an average white Asian. Usually, he didn't take this long to prepare himself but today was special. The first day has to be the best. Thus, he spent around 10 minutes just to look at himself in the mirror.

Jett walked out of the bathroom with a satisfied feeling despite his facial expression remained stiffed and unchanged. He quickly put on his clothes which he had prepared yesterday. After he was done putting on clothes, he went back to the bathroom to take another look in the mirror. Finally, he got out of the bathroom, picked up his luggage then left the room. Inside the luggage were daily accessories and some clothes.

On the street were many people walking orderly as if they were robots. No car or motorbikes could be seen driving around. Even seeing someone riding a bicycle was considered a rare sight. The road was divided into four lanes. The two lanes on each side were for walking while the centre lanes were for emergency uses and some modern vehicles. Looking at the orderly people walking, such order, such pace. How satisfying! Such a sight was truly amazing!

Jett Calder was walking among all those people while pulling his luggage. He was wearing a black trouser with a black long sleeved v-neck T-shirt. He quite likes the colour of black. He has an average height of the 12 years old boys: 150 centimetres. That height was quite tall compared to people of his age.

As the academy came into sight, he also spotted many other students walking in the same direction as him. Jett can recognize them as fellow student easily since each of them was at a similar age to him and was carrying some kind of luggage as well. While glancing a bit far ahead of him, he saw a man in casual clothes. But the man doesn't matter, what mattered is his luggage. It was the Smart Hovering Luggage model.

This model is the latest technology. It can recognize its owner and following the owner in hovering state while also recharging itself whenever the time is right. Its special function is the ability to rush toward its owner once beckoned. So even if you left it somewhere or in your room, once you beckon it over, it will come over shortly after.

Besides this, It looks so cool to have this kind of luggage. But before he can even take a closer look at the Smart Hovering Luggage, something entered the corner of his sight. He saw a drone flying in front of another man and was taking a selfie for him. This drone was not a normal drone. Jett always has interests in this field thus he had some knowledge related to these things. From what he knows, the drone was like a pet. It even has some level of intelligence and emotions. Besides, unlike normal fleshly pets, it doesn't need to be fed. It can recharge itself whenever the time is right. Furthermore, it can help you complete certain tasks. Taking photos can be an example, delivery can be another and there's even more.

Jett also wanted to have all these things but he doesn't have money. His family wasn't rich so he can't afford this kind of worldly materials. The implanted contact lens was necessary for his career. It can be used as a substitution for the computer. Besides, it wasn't a one-time payment, it was a monthly subscription. Thus, It was pretty affordable. This was one of the reasons many people have it implanted in their eyes.

Jett heaved a sigh and decided that he would try to earn money as quickly as possible. There are so many things that he wanted to buy.
