6 Let's Go Shopping!

Four hours later, Jett finally finished reading the content in the second folder.

Now that the reading is finished, I shall start practice. According to the information in his lens, in order to access the next folder, he needs to complete all the designated practices and pass the tests.

Opening the previously installed app, he starts his practice and plays around to gain a deeper understanding. As he was too interested in this, he hasn't opened any folder of other subjects yet. However, that's not a problem as long as he can pass all the test before the deadline which is next week.

Two hours later, he finished all the exercises. As he was doing all of these via his mind alone while his body is lying on the bed, it wasn't too tiring.

The dawn is coming and it's almost time to sleep. I shall sleep after I took the test. With this thought in mind, he immediately applies for a test.

Since this is the low-level test, it doesn't require a human to operate. This was design so that every student can try it whenever they like and as many time as they need.

The test is pretty simple. He just had to write a program to satisfy the test requirements.

Another hour passed by. Jett finally finished with his test and it was being evaluated. He took advantage of this time and step out of bed to go to the bathroom preparing to sleep. He had high confidence that he would pass.

Kacha! The door opened showing a shadow of two people. It was Eduardo and Marco. They are finally back. The duo had a tired look on their face. Allen also seems to notice as Jett caught him glancing over.

Jett went into the bathroom without saying anything and when he comes out again, the duo was already sound asleep.

At the same time, a notification ring out indicating that he had unexpectedly failed the test. This test was designed to help student verify their knowledge so they would know whether what they had learned is correct or completed.

Jett opens the test result to read more details. He was curious to know what mistakes did he made. The answer soon comes to him. It turns out that he didn't write enough testing code for the entire program. Unless the test coverage is a hundred percents, he won't pass.

I shall just take the test again tomorrow. If he didn't sleep, he would not be able to remember everything that he had learned today. So, it was better to just take the test again tomorrow. For now, let the knowledge sink in first.

In a room not too far from Jett's, a girl was still up.

"I finally passed. Let's see what's in the next folder!"

She's quickly going through the contents and immediately starts practising. Several minutes later.

"I think I understand. Let's take a test!"

An hour later…

"I failed as expected. Let's see… so that's where I'm wrong. Let's test it again!"

This was the same girl that Jett had run into in physical body session. In the middle of the test, she suddenly remembers Jett.

"Ah! I forgot."

Earlier, when Jett ran into her, she could have dodged it easily. But at the time, she was jotting down her shopping list. Distracted by the incident, she totally forgot about it.

"Now that I think about it, I already ate my last food pill. I'll just finish this exam quickly and go shopping."

"Duo Duo! The sun has already risen and you still haven't gone to sleep?"

Yang Duo was the name of the girl.

"I'll just finish my test first."

"Eh… do you want to go shopping." Yang Duo asked with a bit of hesitant.

"What?! No way! It's too hot outside. Why didn't you go earlier?"

"I forgot about it. Otherwise, humph..."

"I failed again. Let's just go buy food first."

Yang Duo changes her clothes swiftly and heads out. As soon as she opened the door, she could feel the hot air blowing on her face. This makes her remember Jett again. "Why should I go alone?"

With an evil grin on her face, she swiftly searches for Jett contacts in her lens. Although she didn't know his name, she knows his face. She also knows that he's in the same field of speciality as her. When Jett saw her at the museum, she also saw him.

Soon after, she found the contact. She calls him without any hesitation while muttering something under her breath. "If I had to go under this sun, you should also suffer the same."

Jett was still sleeping when he heard the call. It's hard to ignore when it's ringing in his head. Without another choice, he answers it.

"Hello! Jett's speaking."

"Hi! It's me, the girl you crash into yesterday."

As soon as, he heard this, Jett opens his eyes and look at the profile image. It was that girl indeed. However, he quickly calms himself.

"Oh! Is there any problem?"

"Nothing, I just need some help. Can you come out to meet me a bit?"

Normally, Jett wouldn't go and would hang up immediately but he said that he would compensate her when he got the opportunity. And now that opportunity is here.

"How would you like me to help?"

"You will know when you come."

"Alright! Where are you?"

After exchanging the meeting location, Jett woke up and changes into new clothes. Going out to meet a girl, although he didn't harbour any ulterior motive, he still wants to look good.

The meeting place is the school entrance. It wasn't that there is no food selling in the school but the food isn't the only thing she needs to buy. And since there's someone accompany her, she decided to just buy everything she needs at once.

"Hey! I'm here." Yang Duo shouts as soon as she saw Jett. There weren't many people walking during this time.

Jett walks over and asked curiously. "So, what do you want me to help with?"

"Let's go shopping!"

Ha? Why would she want to go shopping with me? Could it be that…? But we just met. It's impossible. I'm not ready yet.

"What are you thinking? Let's go! It's getting hotter every minute."
