1 Chapter One

.......

"Meg, come downstairs." I could hear my mom yell as I sluggishly lifted my left hand to switch off the alarm that disturbed my beauty sleep.

"Am coming." I yelled back, hoping she could hear me downstairs.

I stood up, going straight to the bathroom, switching on the shower, making it rain on me.

I enjoyed the warm sensation it gives me.

Today, I can't believe am going to Harvey Mudd College.. like one of the biggest school in California.

"Meg, get down here.. before I come up there to whoop your ass." I could hear my Mom nag, I giggled at her actions.

At least, she's the one I would miss most, she was always there for me ever since Dad got missing after he went for war.

I put a white top in my luggage, which was the last item on my list... I looked around my room, which has the smells of lavender.

Going to miss that nice smell.

"Meg, downstairs now." I could hear my mom yell again as I rushed downstairs.

I saw my Mom pacing round the living room, she must be nervous about me leaving her.

I know right;College is hell, you still wish to enter, full of difficulty and more experience.

"Mom." I said hugging her.

"Oh Meg,my baby." My mom said as she hugged me back.

"I'm going to be fine,so stop pacing around the living room..am the one that's supposed to be nervous." I said as we disengaged the hug.

"Are you sure you want to stay in the dorms? You know we could still change it." My Mom asked.

I sighed with a smile, "Yes,at least let your little baby be an adult."

"But-" I could hear a horn honk, outside the house..

"Mom,my driver is here, I have to go." I said, dragged my luggage..

"Megan,are you sure?" I looked at my Mom softly..

"I have Jacob." I said giving her one last hug leaving the house..

"I love you." My Mom yelled..

"Love you too." I said entering the car,as I took one last look at the house and smiled..

"I will be back." I muttered under my breath.

The car stop in front of the university..

I got down from the car, standing opposite the school, breathing out heavily as I could feel my sweaty hands.

I texted Jacob because he told me,he would pick me up at the gate...

Me: Am here

                            Jacob: Am sorry, I can't pick you up anymore , you could come in yourself, right?

I was kinda sad with his response but I waved it all off.. I didn't reply but began to walk into the school.

Me: Am there already..

                             Mom: Are you sure? What about Jacob...

My Mom is so protective.

I giggled at her attitude..

Me: Everything is fin-

I was about to reply my mom, when I hit my head in a hard warm surface, making two phones fall down,I could smell a Spice and Wood perfume..

"Watch where you are going." I could hear a deep voice..

I looked up, which made me almost gasped,the young man before me was so damn good looking, good looking was actually a huge understatement...He was tall, his inky dark hair looked like it was combed by his fingers and swept back away from his face. He had a  strong, defined and jawline..He was perfection in my eyes..

"Are you deaf?" I could hear the voice again waving my thoughts off..

"Umm" I cleared my throat.. "Am so sorry." I said picking the two phone on the floor which had the phone cases that looked exactly the same...

"Umm." I said as I bit my lower lip trying to check which one was mine..

He got irritated by my behavior,he scoffed, snatching the phone on my left hand.. leaving me there..

Conceited prince!

I scoffed as I dragged my luggage inside the school, going to the principal's office...

"Megan White, right?" A middle aged man said  which was the principal, seated on a comfy chair, in a really big office..

"Yes, sir." I said nodding my head..

"What's your major?" The principal asked...

"Public administration." I said giving him a sweet smile..

"Wow,by the way..my name is Principal Paul." Mr.Paul said

"Your dorm is 236B." Mr.Paul said handing me a paper and a key, which I collected and opened,it was a map..

"If you get lost, you could use the map and that's the key to your dorm." Mr.Paul said..

"Thank you,sir." I said..

" It's fine, you may take your leave now." Principal Paul said as I left..

"Enjoy your stay-" Principal Paul said stopping my tracks, "In Harvey Dudd College." He added..

"Thank you sir." I said as I left his office...

I walked down the hallway of the dorm, still looking at the map, when I stopped opposite a door, which had a tag up 236B, I used the key Principal Paul gave me to unlock the door, opening the door made my mouth widened in surprise.

"Woah."

The room was big though,painted in white and blue, there was two beds which divided the room, one of the bed was messy,well the other was clean... I guess the clean one should be mine.. I jumped on the bed, lying my back..

"Woah." I screamed happily,as the bed bounced up back...

I sat down upright, when I began to examine the room again... The two beds has a desk each and a chair each, probably for studying...

Of course, it's studying, what am I saying?

But the dorm only has a comfy couch, which had a blue colour..

I inhaled in and out, when I decided to change into something more comfy...

Am going to start class tommorow..

I entered the bathroom which wasn't bad either..

I went straight to the sink, opening the tap that rained water, as I washed my face...

I looked at myself in the mirror, as I could see water on my face dripping down..

I had a brown eyes, light skinned,a dark wavy long hair,well heart shaped pink lip and had a little baby face

"Megan, you can do this." I said as I turned off the running water, entering the bathroom, allowing the warm water to pelt on me..

I forgot myself in the bathroom for some minutes, before coming out...

I wore a short sleeved blue short gown...

I sat down on my bed, with one of my leg crossed, when I thought of texting Mom, that I'm Okay..

I took my phone, when I remembered that conceited prince..

"Watch, where you are going."

"Are you deaf?"

I kissed my teeth in annoyance.

"What type of rude bastard is he? I mean,he should have also watched where he was going?" I said to myself,as I began to regret not giving him a piece of some hearing..

I waved it all off, when I turned my phone on, when it showed me password..

"I didn't remember putting password on my phone." I said softly to myself...

When I noticed a wallaper on the lock screen,I slided it up a little when I said the guy's face..

"Ahhh." I screamed, throwing the phone away..

You took the wrong phone, son of a bitch..

I cursed under my breath, rolling on my bed out of frustration,times without number.. when the door opened causing my attention showing a girl dressed in red sleeveless short gown which had a long cut almost reaching half of her lap,her hair was ginger red, and she had a huge makeup..

"Oh My Goodness." She said as she touched her chest,as if it was about to fall out of fear..

"Hi." I said giving her a short wave with a smile as I combed my hair with my fingers, because it was messed up due to the bed roll.

"Are you my new roommate?" She said as she moved few inches close to me..

"Yes." I said nodding my head..

"Okay,am Alana by the way." Alana said..

"Megan." I said as Alana walked to her bed, sitting down,as she began to take off the heels..

"Nice name." Alana said..

"You also have a nice name too." I said but she didn't reply..

Why do I keep meeting rude people?

I saw the phone,I threw which was at the edge of the bed..

"Really." I said in a really sad voice.
